even in these chains — o, 100th post - guts - 05-14-2018
//i've been trying to think of smthing for his 100th post, so why not just have a power malfunction thing?? dw there's no major damage or anything like that Aizawa had been finding himself in sticky situations a lot lately, and while he was usually pretty good at getting himself out of them, it had been a bit difficult. This was one of such situations. A large wall of whirling wind surrounded him. It sent debris and snow flying, yet it didn't move, staying there around him. He wasn't sure how to get out, or even how to stop it. At least he wasn't close to camp. Since the tundra was fairly barren, there hopefully wouldn't be too much damage done--unless someone got caught in it. But none of his clan mates were stupid enough to get close. Or at least, he hoped they weren't. He didn't know anyone well enough yet to scale out how smart they were exactly. Anyways, he was pretty much stuck. He wasn't even sure how this had happened. He had laid down to take a nap, as usual, and when he woke up, he was caught in the middle of this small whirlwind. Though, the dream he had hadn't been very pleasant. He had been having a lot of nightmares recently, ever since he had come to this world in the first place. That's why he usually slept during the day, and yet it seemed they had caught up to him now. "Damn..," he curses under his breath, barely able to hear it over the sound of the strong wind. He isn't sure how to fix it, since he isn't sure how to handle his power in general. "SPEECH" Re: even in these chains — o, 100th post - cry - 05-14-2018
Cry felt a strange sense of deja vu as she flew through the flurry. She could barely keep herself aloft and not flung off in an unknown location. She supposed that is what she deserved for living in a tundra prone to snowstorms. The raven huffed. She needed to land. She closed her wings, swooping down to the ground below her. She opened her wings, rolling close to the ground. If she was ground-bound, she might as well find the source of this nonsense. The raven could tell the flurry was all coming from one location; the eye of the storm, if you will. The raven huffed as she drew closer to the wall. She landed, digging her talons into the dirt and ice to keep herself from flying away. She squinted, staring into the storm. Is. That's... a panther. 'Zawa?? She screeched out, reaching one of her wings up to protect her face and eyes, 'he hell 'ou doing?! Why was one of their bloody own causing a natural disaster on their land?? Did he want them to die or get hurt? At least he had the courtacy to practice his wind magics away from camp.Eugh... Air elemntals was one of his specialtys. The wildcat had actually been born with the power and the same went with his conjuration. This meant almost as soon as he was born, he had the aility to control that elemental, although he wasn't that great at it until he grew up a little bit longer. The assassin had a lot of training where he used his air elmentals to help him out during missions that wouldn't take all that long. It was a extremley helpful power that Killua barely used in combat here and there. The main use for the power was to more support himself so that he wouldn't get himself into a terrible situation. He couldn't afford to not be stealthy during his missions, and his powers made him so that it would be extremely difficult when he did turn most of his powers on. The only issue with his air elemental powers though, were the fact that they responded to his emotions and not always the rest of his commands if he wasn't careful enough. The wildcat could change the weather with the change of his emotion, as the angrier that he got the colder the area would become. Which had been what happened when the Typhoon returned Jacob, with what felt like ages ago. The wildcat had started to make it hail on accident thanks to the rage that was going through his body. He hated the Typhoon, and the way that they thought that they could fool them pissed them off even more. Either way, Killua enjoyed having his air elementals and there were plenty of uses for said power. Sadly, Killua hadn't been around when the black lion had discovered that he had air elementals, information that Killua would like to know. He always kept tabs on what powers other animals would end up using as he wouldn't be surprised if he somehow ended up getting into a fight with them. It was better this way, and it offered Killua some reprieve from his constant thoughts all the time. The Snowstriker blinked his sapphire blue eyes as he was standing on the canopy of a nearby pine tree. What the hell was that? Killua noticed a funnel of wind that was a little bit of a distance away from where he was, and it was obviously not something that was really even that natural. The assassin flexed his metal claws into the tree before leaping from tree to tree, landing down on the snow in front of the situation at hand. Oh. Well this didn't seem all that great, but it wasn't horrible either. Killua blinked his eyes a little bit in surprise as Aizawa was in the middle of basically a mini typhoon. The other had air elementals and wasn't capable of controlling them, at least not yet. His paws made no sound as he approached the wind tunnel, looking it over casually. "I'm guessing you don't know how to turn this off right?" Killua shouted, hoping that the black lion would hear it. Having revealed teleportation to some of those that lived in the clans, he wasn't sure if he was willing to use his air elementals right now. The assassin liked to keep that power hidden in case he did have to use it offensively. If he really wanted to, he could create another whirlwind, but moving it in the opposite direction at the same speed so that they would cancel out, but he didn't want to have to do that. He just hoped that the black lion would be able to take control of his own powers. His eyes started to look around to make sure that no one was going to get close to the mini tornado. Well, at least he knew the older male now had air elementals.

Unlike with his quirk, Aizawa definitely wasn't sure how to control his air elementals. He wasn't even sure what the name for it was. His eyes lifted up towards the sky, concern weighing down on his chest as he noticed Cry flying towards him. Before she could fly into the wind, though, she landed, which allowed him to huff in relief. Now that he wasn't preoccupied with being worried for his clan-mate's safety, he could focus on finding a way to stop this whirlwind before it grew out of control. He didn't want to be on the opposite spectrum and be the one to cause destruction. Before he had the chance to shout to the crow that he wasn't doing it intentionally, Kilua appeared, which eased his mind slightly. He was a bit embarrassed. It wasn't that he relied on the serval, but maybe more-so trusted him? It probably wasn't a good thing, but he would see if that was true in time. He was a tough case to crack, after all, and there was little to no way of knowing what he was thinking. "Is it that obvious?" here in between a rock and a hard place, and yet he still had a snarky tone to his voice. It was just his way of dealing with the situation. The lion takes one last look at the wall of quickly moving wind, quickly noticing it wasn't as fast as before. It was slowing down gradually, but at this rate, it would take a while. He had to stop it now. "SPEECH" Re: even in these chains — o, 100th post - | KILLUA ZOLDYCK | - 05-14-2018 [align=center] [shadow=darkblue,right]KILLUA[/shadow]

Killua had once thought that elemental powers were incredibly rare. That if someone had them that meant that they were going to end up being incredibly powerful. This was because that his family had always told him that he was special that he was born. Having been born with powers instead of discovering them later on. It also meant that there were some interesting stories with his powers growing out of control when he was around three moons old. Almost funny really. But either way, once Killua had joined the clans, he had to assume that everyone in the group had access to their elemental powers. Because he was right that the majority of them seemed to possess them in some shape or form. Killua didn't become jealous of others as their powers didn't really compare to his, and he wouldn't even really have to use his powers in a fight in the first place. Instead, he used the rest of his powers to get an advantage over other's and that was usually enough. One just needs to be fast enough to avoid a fire ball that is coming directly toward them. Killua only ever had control of two different elementals, but those two elements were probably considered to be the most versatile. He could stop the breathing of someone, while also regulating the breathing of someone else. Each of said elemental powers could be used as means of support to help others, whether a passive support or an offensive support. He could use his electricity elementals as a means to stun someone, while other animal could attack them from a different angle. It was a good combo, but it only worked if someone was willing to fight with him. Which he wasn't sure was possible when it came to those that lived in Snowbound. Maybe Mel could fight with him, but even then he didn't want to waste time trying to fight with someone if he could fight by himself a whole lot better. After all, in battles time meant everything, and if someone was fast and strong the battle usually didn't last all that long. Killua couldn't help but roll his eyes at Aizawa's response, and even let out a groan as he didn't really see any way of fixing this situation. He was pretty sure that no one else in the clan was capable of using air elementals other than him and Aizawa. In fact, he and Aizawa were probably the only elemental users unless Stark had something up his sleeve. He flicked one of his large white ears as he sat himself down just outside of the whirlwind that was surrounding the lion. Seeming to go deep into thought for a couple of seconds before sighing. "Alright alright. Just stay where you are alright? I'll fix this." Killua would say calmly, not real emotion place across his facial features as he stared at the lion for a couple seconds before looking at the whirlwind itself. After he said that phrase, wind began to pick just outside of the whirlwind, but it was going in the opposite direction. Killua began to create his own whirlwind outside of Aizawa's, making sure to keep track of anyone that was coming toward the area. Once that was done, Killua would aim to slam his whirlwind into Aizawa's whirlwind, aiming to cancel out the other's whirlwind completely as he made sure his was going the same speed but in the opposite direction. If that worked, the reaction would feel like nothing but another gust, but if the other's power continued, then he would have to do it all over again. Killua kept a casual look, as if to play it off like nothing had happened.
