TIMELINE.
✧ Born in the neutral territories, Ruven was the son of two NPC lions who constantly starved and couldn't feed the three. Living off of rotten food leftover that it seemed even the buzzards wouldn't eat, he lived his life alone most of the time while his starving parents tried to hunt for food. When he was five months old, Sojourn escaped from Typhoon having rescued Ravenwood, and in a fit of madness killed Ruven's parents when they had attacked her for getting too close to where he was sleeping. Having not seen any of it, she lied and said another creature had attacked and killed his parents and had taken him in as her own. He has lived in the Coalition since as her only child thus far, and was promoted to Thane on May 4, 2021.

Over time, Sojourn adopted one other child, an older hellhound named Solsken. Ruven took a liking to him immediately and they grew close, pulling pranks on each other and even sharing a bedroom. After discovering he had water elementals, Sojourn eventually taught him how to use the powers, showing her two children how to use water elementals to bend blood in that lesson. Having practiced the powers as much as he could, when the raid on the Coalition from the Typhoon happened on May 15, 2021 Ruven used the power to harm Diya, afterwards dying from ice spikes piercing through his gut by Lumia in an attempt to try and save the polar bear. He died and was stuck in limbo for an hour in real time, but his soul aged three months. He was forcefully brought back down to earth by an unknown source and developed clairvoyance and shapeshifting in the process.
