tipping their head at the mess of bodies before them, from their most recent hunt, the kingpin rumbled in thought, setting to work on removing the furs from the prey animals, humming as they spent their time, dedicated to work as hard as they could. they paid no attention to the hours they spent over their work, in their fox body, nor the scents that clung to them and filled their nose with bitter and horrid scents. hours later, the kingpin would straighten from their work, looking over the pelts stretched out, fleshed and salt cured. the fur looked so soft, left to dry and to be bundled up for sale. exhaling, they stretched themself, growling in content. it felt so much better to have this much work off their paws. they knew that with the coming months, they should go out and hunt some more to bring in more pelts. hells, their paws ached.

clearing their throat, the kingpin shook their head, shaking numbness from their muscles, "anybody want to learn how to prepare some furs? i'll get into tanning later ...", they mumbled, chuckling at the look that some of the NPCs wore as they smelt the kingpin, "it's a messy job and doesn't carry a pleasant scent, but i would be willing to teach you. we can use these furs ourselves, and trade them!", they hummed, tail sweeping as they picked up the pelts to hang them by their nose and later groom out the fur to make it appear more lively.
