Asteri
"The stars listen, so don't say anything you'd regret."
Islands within the pacific ocean were havens for all sorts of life. Even the biggest kinds. An island chain, undiscovered by humans, houses some of the mightiest beasts the earth has ever known. Some call them monsters, others would call them Kaiju. They came in all shapes and sizes: from larger than a house to massive, ground shaking beasts. Some were intelligent, some, not so much.
Asteri was a peaceful kaiju, Moth-like in appearance but just smaller than a Boeing 747 commercial plane, with glorious wings that opened to the night sky inside them. Worshipped as a Goddess by ancient civilizations, she was quiet and peaceful, a pacifist with no urge to fight. That was usual for some of the Kaiju - being worshipped as deities. It was fun, for the most part. The human sacrifices went too far for Asteri.
She holds home at the westernmost island, a meteor impact that leads into a cavern, covered in silk and webbing. She doesn't eat - in fact, she gains energy by sunlight and moonlight. Nothing on the island could sustain such a massive creature alone. And there were many more kaiju around, too. Asteri keeps to herself most of the time, resting at the center of the massive crater, wings providing shade to the more regular, smaller animals that found themselves entranced by her elegance.
