Their first contender. How joyous! The journey to indulge in quests was finally afoot. Needless to say, the quest giver was excited. Upon approaching the scene, the bobcat's green gaze narrowed in on Jormungand. Brutus had already mingled with many during meetings and events throughout the years, but he had yet to seen this particular face. Nevertheless there seemed to be no worry. Even with their dark pelt and brutish flare, he felt like he was in a safe position. After all, who wouldn't want to go on a daring adventure? Rewards were at stake!

He grew closer, finally coming to a stop. Brutus' head dipped in greeting and a warm smile graced his maw. "Why hello there," the cat cooed with glee. "My name is Brutus, one of the many quest givers you may meet on your travels. I hear you are interested in an escapade?" Although he questioned why else they would be here. Not many came to the neutral grounds to mingle with Brutus or his acquaintances (unless there was an event, of course).

Brutus looked the stranger up and down. A strong Pittian didn't seem like they would back down from a challenge. "If you wish to participate, I will hear you out." The quest giver nodded in reassurance. "Let us begin."

QUEST: Your character comes upon a stranger in the woods. They yell out, looking for assistance. Upon approaching, your character notices they are heavily bleeding from their abdomen. In 750 words explain what your character does as a result. Do they heal them with herbs? Give them mercy? Kill them? The outcome will determine your power reward.

REWARD: The outcome will determine whether your character will receive Scarecrow Skin or Foliage Familiar.
