MONTHLY MEETING [OCTOBER 2020] - kinglykingstone - 09-30-2020
Last meeting had certainly gone interestingly, hadn't it? Hopefully this meeting would go much more peacefully. It was the second meeting for the groups, the glowing stones having already suspended themselves in the sky, their lights stretching across the grounds. The first to arrive had been Elysium's two headed leader, lessons learned from last time. Their cloaks had been shed for the warmer area, set beside them while they awaited the arrival of the other leaders and whoever wished to gather along with them. HAVE YOU SEEN MY SISTER EVELYN? Re: MONTHLY MEETING [OCTOBER 2020] - bubblegum - 10-04-2020
Technically, as a captain of such a large and old group as the Typhoon, she was expected to come to these. Though, in her experience they'd always been quite redundant, and the tigress did not enjoy wasting precious time. But, many changes had undergone the political climate of the groups in the past few months, new ones beginning to pop up, policies and leaderships changing in others, and she'd stayed out of most of it. With her children born, wife wed and dead, and goal to end slavery within the Pitt succeeded as it seemed, the female had little care what anyone was doing besides Tanglewood, so long as they weren't specifically messing with them. And thus far, none had the gall to do such a thing. Which didn't have her complaining - not at all. In all honesty, she still wasn't quite interested stepping in today, but she made the active choice to do so, just based off rumors of what - or more specifically who had come of the previous one. Her grief for Sam still pained her, and she still had no desire for senseless war, but if it were true that the monster she'd been hunting for over a year had made an appearance, then she'd be there to see it herself. Besides, it seems Rin, a former friend, had stepped down from Elysium as well. She may as well introduce herself to the newest leader. What she'd not expected, however, was to find the two-headed individual she stumbles upon today. She'd taken her scimitar with her today, for good measure, even though she was aware of the technical "peace" that was supposed to be upheld during these. She cared not for it. Whoever made those rules was not in charge of her, and she would act how she best saw fit. That'd how it'd always be. If Stryker was around, then it was best she'd be prepared for it. She offers a simple nod to the stranger, tail tip twitching gently. "Hello there, you smell o' Elysium. M' name is Goldenluxury Roux." Re: MONTHLY MEETING [OCTOBER 2020] - SirDio - 10-04-2020 Chernabog
Having recently joined the Pitt, and planning to do the blooding soon after the meeting, Chernabog wanted to introduce herself to the other groups. Whispers among the pittians spoke about a violent meeting last month, of changes in leadership and policies. Obviously, she wasn't around when these things happened, so she simply believed them. For now. Dark blue body slinking toward the archways, she set her sights at the two-headed cat and golden tiger. Stopping only a few feet from GoldenLuxury, she cleared her throat with a low bellow. "Hello, hello! My name is Chernabog, a paleblood of the Pitt." her ugly face twisted into an equally ugly smile. Re: MONTHLY MEETING [OCTOBER 2020] - sykes - 10-04-2020 TELL HIM THE NIGHTMARES HAVEN'T STOPPED
tell him i'm not sure what is real and what is not
Loey isn't far behind Hani and Alani, but that's not an uncommon sight- well, it is, because Loey doesn't actually go anywhere or do anything so he's rarely seen anyway, but whenever he is seen, it's usually mingling around Hani and Alani. That said, he's not right at their side, but he does noticeably have an eye on them. Whether that's because he heard about the commotion from the last meeting or just because he quite often is seen making googoo eyes at the two is unknown, however. He's quiet for the most part, appearing as a solid rock in their shadow. His face was twisted into an uncomfortable scowl that marred his otherwise handsome face, bright blue irises peeking out from under half-opened eyelids and curled fur. The presence of two others, strangers albeit only because he hadn't bothered to make any visits anywhere since he'd joined Elysium and had remained solely within his own territory; draws his attention rather quickly and admittedly visibly. He seems to perk up in interest, his previously hunched shoulders drawing into a squared position that stretched the muscles of his chest and shoulders elegantly, jaw unclenching from where he'd been almost sneering in distaste behind his leaders. The first to introduce themselves is a tigress calling herself Goldenluxury, and he lets the name roll around in his head for only a few moments before he decides it fits the lady pretty well. She's very up-front, too, although that's not such a bad thing- it saves having to tell her which group he comes from, even if she's admittedly not talking to him. The second is a strange looking girl who calls herself Chernabog, and he schools his expression so it doesn't visually show his thoughts of the grim smile that stretches across her face. She's not a pretty girl unlike Goldenluxury, and if she comes from The Pitt she doubts she's very nice, either, but he's not going to judge a book by it's cover- he'll find out by actually interacting with people whether she's a Twilight or a Hunger Games, thank you very much. That in mind, he steps forward so he's no longer sat like a grim, spirit-dampening bodyguard behind Hani and Alani and clears his throat when Chernabog has finished speaking, allowing his cerulean optics to dance across the two once more, overanalysing if you will, as he speaks in a soothingly deep voice; "Hello." he speaks, nose wrinkling as his throat closes up; he's not a very talkative person, but he came to the meeting so he might as well meet people, right? "M' names Loey, it's nice to meet you both." template by orion
Re: MONTHLY MEETING [OCTOBER 2020] - gael - 10-04-2020 ♛ GAEL Ó BROIN The previous gathering had left the vulpine wary of the next -- wholly uninterested in the outbreak of arrogance and violence that had occurred. Nonetheless, he arrived without a word, quietly taking his seat beneath the Pitt's stone. The pirate captain appeared to be present this time; both an interesting change and unfortunate -- Gael knew his daughter would soon be behind him, as the stubborn girl she was. It would not help, the vulpine mused, the tigress had armed herself, but what else should they expect from a pirate? He resisted a heavy sigh; ear flicking in acknowledgement to one of his clanmates' presence. The Ardent had never been a particularly social creature. He simply valued the knowledge and insight gatherings presented, though the idle thought of seeing family did cross his mind. Of course, he would speak, should he be spoken to. In the meantime, he would sit and listen. "I AM A STONE" —-- gael ó broin / faerie / ardent / lamby Re: MONTHLY MEETING [OCTOBER 2020] - aine. - 10-05-2020

The last meeting had not gone well. Had gotten violent. She didn't like the idea of coming again. She didn't like the idea of her father going without her either. Especially, as she appeared to be the first healer present.

She shuffled her hooves, wings pressed tightly against her sides. While the others spoke among themselves, names and introductions passed, the petite deer-fox focused on the ground beneath her, idlily growing flowers. The Elysium leaders, she knew. From last time. Invoked violence from her cousin... Through uncalled for words. Loey was new, Chernabog vaguely familiar from home. Goldenluxury, she pointedly avoided. Wherever her hazel hues flickered, it was away from the tigress. She felt proud at least, that her father, who had been chosen by a Pittian leader, had succeeded a Pittian leader, had not been appointed by someone who hated them, was Ardent. Had led them to a choice of disbanding slavery, on their own terms, after Silent's violent reestablishment, rather than following a threat. Aine felt proud. With a creased brow, the Fleshweaver grew a single marigold, head tilting lightly before she glanced up at her father. Hopefully they wouldn't need any of the flower today. © MADI Re: MONTHLY MEETING [OCTOBER 2020] - Atticus Roux - 10-05-2020 Following behind Gael and Aine, the grey tabby looked up in marvel as the crimson beam from the sky faded away as the ardent passed through the stonehenge. Yellow eyes shifted towards the gem that laid within it's center. He was marveled by the mystery within the crystal. Not only this, but the giant tree's arrival within the crater. Needless to say, he was a bit estatic for his first meeting. There were going to be old Tanglewood faces presumably. Maybe Aurum? Suvi? Some family would be nice too, but he hadn't seen any in quite awhile... Besides Moth. Her reappearance was a blessing. He hoped she would show her face today too. Atticus proceeded with high hopes nevertheless. Rather than sticking with his Pittian crew, he maneuvered over towards Goldenluxury and the Elysium leaders. He was vaguely familiar of Goldenluxury, as they were a Roux too, but the two were distant. If they interacted, it was brief. In hopes of meeting new animals and growing closer to his current acquittances, he spoke up. "Greetings," the tabby started off with. "My name is Atticus Roux, acolyte of The Pitt." His head shifted towards the pirate. A small smile crept upon his maw. He hoped his affiliation with The Pitt wouldn't split them apart. After all, they were family. "Pleasure to see you too, Goldenluxury." His gaze loomed over the general group. For each animal that arrived, he surveyed them up and down, admiring their differences and willingness to take this time together in peace. Clearing his throat, he tried to address everyone. "How is everyone fairing these days?" the tabby generalized. "The Pitt is doing quite swell under Gael's reign-" Atticus momentarily looked back at their leader. He offered a nod in solidarity. "- and we seem to be heading in a nice direction." At least he thought so. While he didn't agree with every policy Gael introduced, Atticus had to give the leader props. They kept themselves out of a bad light for quite awhile now. The Pitt's past was disgraceful, but their future held hope. the soft uncurling of sunlight, cotton candy smiles bleeding red, dripping blood. all grainy images that you never want to reveal to yourself: reflection. Sakasu is the catastrophe hidden in the stillness, the mourning of a single-note song and the death of all the purity. Battle lust wrapped in a guise of sweet allure Sakasu was naturally a curious creature, and hearing what had happened at the last monthly meeting, the kitsune couldn't not come. Fresh paint smelled more like blood than any sweet berry found on the border of the mountainous clan. His entire form hidden mostly behind a clasped cloak of pale lilac shade. Hints of deep vibrant red along the tails that lifted the end of the cloak. A hint of color along his face as a teardrop and star marred his face. "Sakasu." The kitsune offered his name as he laid down near his own leader- the duo heads makeing no move yet to introduce themselves and the Kitsune made a note of it. Golden eyes watching the rest of the animals- the Pitt with a more gazed interest. "Rumors of the Pitt turning a new leaf? ura, that is quite s uprising from such a bloody reputation." The kitsune called, a chattering laughter from the large fox, looking towards the leader of the Typhoon- Goldenluxy as she introduced herself. Ears on swivel, she followed the sounds of everyone's voices. Names. Mostly Elysites and Pittians, aside from herself and Goldie.

Her nose twitched, tail flicking behind her curiously as she sought out her cousins among the crowd of different voices and scents. They had yet to speak, but she felt mostly sure that she 'looked' at them, as she offered a small, polite smile. "Aloha, col ceathracha." The last meeting had not gone very well. But her cousin, her 'Uncail', had tried to be a voice of reason when the violence broke out. Despite that bloody reputation his group held. She had to respect that. Of course, she knew little else about Gael, than their distant blood relation. He seemed more thought oriented first and foremost, like her. And fiercely protective, over his daughter. The only direct family, if she recalled, he had left. She wondered how he felt about the Pitt, as a whole... Since he was willing to step up as leader. Her ear twitched, head tilting towards Atticus' words. She hadn't introduced herself, either, had she? "'m Keona Ní Faoláin. Typhoon dealer." "We're doin' well." Whiskers twitched. "Got ourselves in the middle of a prank war, with Tanglewood, at the moment." Pranks. Well, Keona may not entirely get the fun, but she didn't particularly mind the mischievous 'war'. A nice contrast, to all the conflicts of the past. © MADI Re: MONTHLY MEETING [OCTOBER 2020] - salem - 10-05-2020 [div style="width: 500px; text-align: justify; font-family: georgia; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 1.4;"]SALEM | Soft, vine-wrapped paws tread over the grass. Keeping careful pace with captain and friend, Salem's dark eyes observed the gathering with an inquisitive silence. The dark-furred wildcat took his seat besides Keona, head resting to the side as he listened to those who spoke -- idle, simple conversation limited to introductions and polite questions, for the moment. His attention often shifted, constantly returning to his friend. While her nature was quiet like his, she did not mind adding her name to the gathered -- offering answers to Atticus' questions of wellbeing. He hummed softly, resting his tail neatly over his paws, smiling absently at the mention of pranks. |
