I’m abandoning the branding | sweeney - Simon F.M. - 09-04-2020 Take what you need while there's time
The city will be earth in a short while If I'm not mistaken it's been in flames You and I will escape to the seaside The snowy feline moved through the Neutral Grounds quietly, hears pricked as she slowly stalked. She ignored the sting in her eyes, the pain in her heart as the moonless night hid her form. Her throat constricted as she thought back to her fearful daughter and girlfriend, understanding why she had to go but begging her not too. It hurt her to leave them there, but she knew it had to be done. Better know then to risk them seeing the monster that clawed at her mind, begging to be released out upon the world. How dare she believe she had a right to the joy that surrounded her, the right to have children of her own. She didn't, if she was being honest. She may not deserve them but, they didn't deserve to have someone leave them. She had made commitments and promises. She was a selfish creature. She wouldn't ever abandon Roxanne, she would protect her family until her dying breath. But, she had to go in this moment. Just for a few hours, and then she would be back. It had been too long, verging on two months since her last meal. Something she was supposed to do every two weeks, she had been putting of for far too long. With the children on their way, she needed to be much more prepared. The sound of rustling caught her attention and she dropped into a crouch, slowly crawling her way into a nearby tree. With unnatural silence, she crept up the bark, perching herself atop a branch. A scent she recognized, one that had mingled with her girlfriend's after her return from being kidnapped, from the hell she'd gone through. A name flickered through the vampire's mind but, she was gone. There were few thoughts within the beast as it stared down upon its prey, tail flicking behind it as slitted eyes watched the kitsune. It bit back a snarl, razor sharp claws digging into the branch that held it. In the blink of a light it was still, tense and watch full. When the opportunity presented itself it launched, claws outstretched in an attempt to wrap around her shoulders while open maw aimed for the pittian's neck, hoping to clamp down. The dead of night was a time that Sweeney found herself drawn to more and more as of late. It was quiet and there often weren't too many members walking around in the Pitt, and those that were often left her alone for the most part. Tonight though, she had decided that she was going to go out and try to find someone to capture and take into the Pitt, in the hopes that they would join the group. Although they weren't small by any means compared to other places, Sweeney knew that they could grow more, and she wanted that. What she hadn't expected while she had been hunting her own prey so-to-speak, had been her mind wandering around, thinking about the state the Pitt was in now, thinking about how it had been, and eventually thinking about her father, burning in that fire in front of her. It caused pain, and it was enough to make the female stop for a moment to make sure her eyes were dry and to make sure her nose wasn't stuffed up so that she could smell if someone was coming. Once that was finished she continued to walk, but it turned out she hadn't cleared her nose out completely, or else she would have smelled the Typhooner that was around her. She didn't smell the scent of the ocean until it was far too late. Too late to move her body out of the way, the only thing Sweeney was able to do was brace her fall as the sudden weight upon her caused her to fall down. She felt a quick pain in her neck as the feline bit down upon the kitsune's neck, and it caused Sweeney to quickly move her paws in an attempt to kick Diya off of her, while she tried to turn over at the same time to get back on her feet. // if you need to powerplay anything here, feel free to ~ THERE ARE RULES AND THERE ARE STRICTURES Re: I’m abandoning the branding | sweeney - Simon F.M. - 09-05-2020 [align=center] I KNOW WHY YOU'RE MAD AT ME, I'VE GOT DEMON EYES

Feral was the beast as it was thrown, eyes slitted as it snarled, staring down the kitsune. Tail lashed as it prowled in a circle, elongated teeth snapping at the heels of its prey. Lunges, false starts to frighten the kitsune, a sickening joy sparked in icey blue eyes. Gone was the crewmate's mind, dragged beneath the oil-slick waves. In her place was a beast, ravenous in its craving for blood, for violence. Toying with its prey, gaining joy from watching the fright roll off in waves. Finally, the beast would lunge, outstretched claws once again seeking purchase in flesh, teeth sinking deep as the victim was dragged to the ground. Pinned by vicious jaws, there was no mercy. Wicked be the beast, the monsterous force which controls the body in these moments. It's jaws didn't snap shut, no intention of ending the battle so swiftly. Despite its craving for violence, it's desire for a feast overwhemled it. And feast it did, greedily, caring not for the fate of its prey. Re: I’m abandoning the branding | sweeney - trojan g. - 09-08-2020 The ground quickly came as Sweeney was suddenly pushed towards it, jaws around her neck and the scent of the Typhoon filling her nostrils. A growl left her throat as Sweeney's brain raced, thoughts of death intruding in her head. This was it, this is where she was going to die, out in the middle of who-knows-where and with a Typhooner at her throat. The thought of it pissed her off. A final growl left the kitsune's throat before she finally spoke, "Get off!" She would yell out, paws kicking up into the air to attempt to knock the other off, not caring if it caused more damage to her neck. If that was successful, Sweeney would then try to knock the other out with electricity, so that she could try and get away. She needed more practice fighting at home in order to actually deal with something like this. Sweeney was tired of losing. Rage, pulsing through the beast. Hungry. Why does the prey struggle? It snarled as it was ripped away, attempting to bit down harder. Claws connected with snowy fur and it went flying, snarling and snapping all the while. It hit the ground with a thud, erratic movements as it raised into a crouch, snarling and snapping its jaws all the while. It lunged forward, aiming to snap it's jaws around the kitsune's leg. It had its fill of blood but, not of violence. As jaws snapped short of flesh, a convulsion ran through the beasts body. While not unconscious, it was prone, groaning and twitching as it laid on the ground. Electricity, an unexpected issue. It convulsed wildly, a mess of snapping jaws and swinging claws. No longer a threat but, for how long? Re: I’m abandoning the branding | sweeney - trojan g. - 09-10-2020
Breath grew heavy as the fight raged on, Sweeney unsure if she would be able to shake the vampire that was currently after blood an violence. She hadn't done anything to the other as far as she was aware, so she was unsure as to why Sweeney had been chosen to get her ass handed to her. She didn't know why the typhoon would keep such a violent member in their ranks either, considering they were all sweet and nice to each other. She knew how they could be with other groups though, had heard the stories from her groupmates. When she had finally gotten loose from Diya's grasp, Sweeney couldn't help but smirk a little bit as she tried to catch her breath. Heavy breathing began to lessen as she slowly pad forward, seeing that her electricity had hit it's mark, and she'd roll her eyes a little bit before opening up her maw to speak. "Don't fuck with me again." She'd growl out, attempting to spit on the other before turning around in a move to walk away. //rushed && feel free to powerplay the tail bit! One final attempt, one final attack, lashing out in rang. Teeth snapping, the beast crawled forward. A struggle faced on trembling legs, the electicities' symptoms still taking its toll. Teeth snapped shut around fur, bone cracking under sharpened teeth. The beast felt its blind target release, falling forward with the feeling of fur still in it's mouth. It collapsed to the ground with a final huff, blue eyes sliding closed as a dark colored tail fell to the ground before it. Unconsious was the beast, rest sorely needed after the fight that had been put up. |
