As the sun began to set, the center of the marketplace became a light show of flickering candles.  Scented with the soft incense of lavender.  Paper lanterns sat over stalls and besides the main pathways.

With the intent to free them later, bottles of fireflies watched over small stations of supplies.  Knives, paints, gems, metals, leather and everything in between had been assembled into carefully situated work spaces.  A promise of comfort and intimate companionship for everyone as they worked.

The illumination reflected in Aine's hazel hues, her own work nearing its end.  She may not have joined the hunt, but the petite deer-fox had been raised by an artist.  Creativity was a beautiful passion.  As was friendship and community.  Good values.  Strong values.  Now it was time for the festival to reflect these in full.

As she paced around the marketplace one last time, readjusting a few lanterns, the Fleshweaver took a breath.  The supplies were ready.  The blacksmiths' and jewel crafters' stalls were open.  Everything was ready.  She hoped she did well.

"Every- everything is ready, feel free to sit at any of the stations!"

A call, and the male lifted his head, curiosity flashing in his optics. He rose to his paws with a small smile and followed the noise, making his way slowly and humming a small tune as he walked. It was dark, but soon the clearing was lit up with small lanterns. He smiled and approached the female who had called the gathering. "I'm here, what's this?" The knives looked interesting to use, he'd  have to check those out.

the light scent of lavender in the wake of such tinged iron. The feast had gone off quietly; and it did jack a great pride to be able to assemble it, but watching Aine in the center of what she knew; maybe not herbs, but crafts. Non-violence was something that lit a warmth in his chest. A soft smile held his features as he walked along the paper lanterns, taking note of the bottles that held glowing bugs. a blacksmith shop, one he had went to before and came away unsatisfied. Jack had no need for a blacksmith, but this season was all about cerimony, it wouldn't be such a taboo thing for him to carry an actual knife with him, one made from the first harvested kill. well..

"you did amazing, Aine." Jack offered the praise without hesitance. curling around one of the candles near to the blacksmith shop. The monitor lizard he had hunted- or what remained of it was tucked away in a linen bag along his hip. he saw a stranger there- amongst them, someone he had yet to meet. He tilted his head, a grin along his maw sharp. "The end to a long hunt, and a start to the prosperity of the Pitt."

Under Silent's reign, there were few changes, and in the stark of this one, jack felt it all come to close, he was not ignorant to the lands around him, and such thought- such preparations and belief in the air would do these weeping lands some good. New growth and all that. "they call my Jack, what's you're name?" the gleam in his eye was mischievous, wondering of the stranger would fall for it. It was an old custom, and jack were not fully a fae, but he felt the power in the unanswered question- he wondered if the other would.

Another voice spoke up and Jormungand turned his head in the direction, his lobes perking. Mischief glittered in the others' eyes and he lifted a brow in response, turning to face the male with a smile spreading on his maw. "Hello... Jack. I'm Jormungand." He replied cautiously, a warning flashing through his blue orbs as he slowly approached. "Yeah, and good job... Aine, was it?"

"God damn, that's a fucking mouthful." Dante commented with a huff as he came to join the group, also having been lured over by Aine's call. The shark-cat hybrid hadn't participated in a lot of the festival, but he had been around for a couple of things. Dante's gaze was on Jormungand, of course, as he spoke, "You got a nickname or some shit? Name's Dante, if you want to know my name."[glow=COLOR,1,400]✧*:・゚[/glow]

"Mouthful?" He looked up as another creature appeared. "Jormungand isn't a mouthful, I don't where you came from. Just call me Jor then, if your highness can't pronounce my name." He said with a mock bow and rolled his eyes. Jor-mun-gand. Not hard at all to pronounce. WHo was this guy anyways?

Sweeney had so far participated in all of the things that the summer renewal had to offer. She had hunted down a member of Tanglewood and had participated in the feast by skinning and eating said member - she found serval wasn't really for her in that way - and now she was going to carve the bones that she had gathered from her victim. If there happened to be another event happening after this involving anything, she would be going to that as well considering her participation in everything thus far, but she doubted there would be another considering there wasn't much else to do with the things they had all gathered.

Quietly, the kitsune would dip her head in the direction of Aine, yellow eyes watching the other for a moment out of respect before looking away, watching those around her. Words had been spoken and questions had been asked and answered. Dante was being an ass per usual though Sweeney didn't really care if she was being completely honest. If he wanted to speak to her she would reply though things could get messy if he was to push too much - she was bigger now and had control of her powers, she was sure he didn't want to see that anyway.

Gathering the bones she had taken from Nicabar's body, the female would quickly grab some tools. She wanted to make matching necklaces out of the bones, something that could also be put around the shoulder or waist if one wanted to, depending on how they wanted to use it. One for her, and one as a gift for a friend.
THERE ARE RULES AND THERE ARE STRICTURES
