WILL NEVER KNOW BETTER // sand castle - LORD HELIX. - 08-27-2020
The sun had set by the time Helix finished his sand castle, the moon high in the sky as he lured crabs to the castle, leading them into the ditch that surrounded it (not quite realizing the crabs could just crawl out). The ancient creature smiled - or, well, as much as he could, anyway. The crabs started crawling around the ditch, snipping their pincers together as they did so.
"Haha, yes!" Helix waved his tentacles in satisfaction, taking their actions as a way of these crabs 'worshipping' him. "Bow down to me, crustaceans! I am superior!" They would be food eventually, but of course these creatures did not need to know that; no, he needed to make sure they truly did worship him before he toyed around with their 'belief'. Re: WILL NEVER KNOW BETTER // sand castle - roan ; - 08-27-2020 It wasn't often that one found themselves drawn over by the very crazy ramblings of a tentacled creature, but tonight just seemed to be one of those nights. Despite the fact that Roan hadn't officially met Helix himself, the medic had certainly heard of him. Michael had been more than willing to ramble about the weird little thing claiming to be a "god" that had washed up on their beach. Not to mention the fact that Goldie seemed to basically consider him to be a pet. It was weird, but it honestly took a lot to shock Roan these days, seeing as the siamese had lived in The Typhoon his entire life. Hell, he was a cat with horns and wings, and to most outside of the beach dwelling group, that would probably be wildly impossible. Yet to them, it was just your average day out as a Roux born of Roxanne. It had even begun to come a bit weird to Roan to see creatures without some kind of mutated wing, or horns. Either way, the draconic feline found himself picking up his head when he heard Helix's delighted cry, a soft snort leaving him. Even before he made his way over, he knew that whatever was happening had to be pretty baffling. Sure enough, it wasn't too long until Roan came across the sandcastle, surrounded by a large ditch full of crabs. Helix sure did seem delighted by their presence, but Roan just found himself blinking in confusion, speechless for a rather long moment. However, once he gained control of his limbs once again, the soothsayer padded his way closer, standing just a bit away from the ditch before he spoke up at Helix, "You're the Helix guy I've heard about, right? Do you... honestly think that the crabs are worshipping you?" Perhaps he would need to check this guy's head out sometime soon. Although, looking at him, it was a little hard to figure out what was his head. ROAN Ó FOALÁIN-ROUX - THE TYPHOON - SOOTHSAYER [sup]template made by tikki[/sup] |
