TIL DEATH DO US PART | return - ROXANNE R. - 07-30-2020

[glow=white,1,400]I LOVE YOU, CANNIBAL QUEEN !。+゚.[/glow]
Roxanne hadn't expected to be captured by a random Pittian but it happened while she had been delivering gifts to their allies, it made her think that maybe she should've brought someone else with her but decided that it had been for the best that she went by herself. She didn't want anyone else getting hurt because of her own actions, Roxanne was already returning home after her escape and well, it was a bit delayed since she had taken the time to notice some changes within the Pitt. Several changes and it wasn't for the better, the bleeding Officer limped most of the way home with her teeth gritted as pink blood dripped from her nose and other wounds. Of course, Roxie wasn't able to get out unscathed though she was fine... She knew this as she held a paw to her stomach where there was a large gash, she just wanted to get home and report back to everyone of what she had seen. And she wasn't going to die while doing so, she still had so much to live for and frankly, death was one of the last things to do on her bucket list.

Finally, she had reached the gates of her home only to find a pained smile on her face. She had acquired quite a few new scars and wounds in the process of her escape but that didn't matter to her now. Reaching to her side and getting the knife that was safely tucked away, she pulled it out from its sheath wincing slightly at the sight of blood though it was not her own before throwing the knife at the bell only to listen to the loud ringing that came from it. She watched the knife fall back onto the sand though her eyes were half closed now as she top collapsed onto her side, Roxie letting out a shaky breath "Man... that was something else," She mumbled to herself letting out a soft wheeze. Re: TIL DEATH DO US PART | return - michael t. - 07-31-2020

LIKE THE MOON SAYS TO THE DARK — Roxie's absence may not have been felt by some within the group – those who had not yet known the officer for long – but it had certainly been felt by both Michael, and Roan. The feline's brother and son had both been worried sick when she hadn't immediately returned from her mission to bring gifts to others, although they had both expressed it in different ways. Roan had thrown himself into his work, frantically sorting things over and over again just to get out the paranoid energies that flowed through him. He went to the tavern more and more often to play poker, trying his damnedest not to get kicked out because of his sudden even worse irritability. Michael, meanwhile, had just tried to write her longer than usual absence as nothing to worry about. He had tried to push his feelings down, trying to come up with some hypothetical explanation for why she could've been gone for so long when she was just supposed to be delivering gifts. However, as time had continued to pass, the reaver had felt his emotions bubbling up through the cracks in his facade, causing him several sleepless nights, and eliminating his appetite near entirely. He even looked a bit thinner than when Roxie had first gone to deliver the presents. The worst part was that they couldn't even truly go searching for her, considering they didn't know where in her trips she had been snatched up from.

It seemed, however, that fate had finally decided to turn in their favor. Michael had been the first to hear the ringing out of the bell, but as he had grown close, and realized he could smell the scent of none other than Roxie, and blood, he had turned and rushed off towards the temple, shouting loudly, "Roan! Roan! It's your Mom! C'mon, come quick, I think she needs you!" Thankfully, it wasn't long before the siamese came rushing out of the temple, his satchel wildly waving in his jaws as he raced with his uncle towards the bell, and the gates.

Soon enough, the pair of them reached where Roxie was laying, Michael's mismatched eyes filling with concern as soon as he saw the wounds covering her. Letting out a soft whine, the reaver pressed his head gently against his sister's, mumbling, "Roxie... Rox, you're okay. I'm so glad you're back. I'm sorry we didn't get you... don't worry, Roan's here." Roan seemed to nod at that, dropping his satchel to the ground and resisting the faint shaking of his paws as he scanned his mother over. It hurt, knowing that this wasn't even the first time that he had been forced to treat terrible injuries on his own mother. The young sage found himself speaking in a hoarse voice as he moved forward, toward Roxie's side, "Don't worry, mama... I'll get you patched up and feeling better in no time. And then we'll... we'll fucking kill whoever did this to you." The draconic feline grit his teeth as he pulled out his usual salve for treating cuts, beginning to carefully clean the gash on his mother's stomach, before carefully applying it to prevent infection. — WE WILL NEVER BE APART

”oh I’ll be sure to make it so” a familiar usually gentle voice added - and anyone who looked upon him saw the shadow across the usually friendly giant’s face - for here was lucifer once again, the void shadow rattling the gentle gilded cage he kept himself in.

For all knew when it came to those he cared for getting hurt, the bars of that cage often swept wide.

It had after all befallen on the now extinct rosebloods long ago - and the mighty rage and ruin had been terrible to behold.

He inclined his head to the three, a terrible promise in his eyes as he nodded to them in agreement before the shadow was once again shattered behind the bars and the concern shone through.

”first we get you rested” when Roan was done of course.

JAIME ROUX
"vengeance is just hope with a history"
”Mom!”

A scaled black and white blur raced across the sands to the group - he’d heard uncle mike calling for Roan and he’d heard the words he’d been so anxious to hear all this time that his mother had been gone - had been missing.

Something in him had been raging at sitting and waiting for news - and dreading the worst news of all - but now that something when he finally drew close enough to see his mothers wounds - that something was now raging in his chest, like his rib cage was the only thing keeping it from breaking free.

That something was furious, a black anger and Jaime almost choked on it - it wasn’t like him but he agreed with its sentiment,

It seemed only grandpa luci’s equally dark rumble managed to get through it and seemingly mollify the rage in his chest that curled tight in discontented fire and scales.

Instead Jaime slowed to look worriedly between them all before back at his mom as big brother tended to her ”will she be okay?”
