I WANT A NEW BRAIN;; open - invitation - tikki - 07-29-2020

[align=center][div style="max-width: 400px;overflow:auto;font-family:verdana;font-size:11px;text-align:justify"]Dull yellow eyes looked around carefully as shaky old paws made their way to the border. Maw opened and out fell an envelope from the old feline's maw, drifting carefully to the ground, before he turned around and hobbled off, seemingly with a mission.

In the envelope, there was an invitation;

To Whom it May Concern:

You have been invited to a small party in the Neutral territory! Directions and time enclosed. I hope to see you there! You'll have a wonderful time.

Re: I WANT A NEW BRAIN;; open - invitation - ROXANNE R. - 07-30-2020

The injured Officer would limp over to see an envelope sitting upon the sand, she would pick it up with a frown on her maw only to open it slowly to read it. Odd, if it had been from any of their allies then surely they would've stuck around and brought a gift basket with them. The draconic femme couldn't help but scowl especially with the recent events... Her returning from the Pitt and apparently, some Pittian had come along and left them a "gift" of sorts. It was too suspicious to the Officer, her lips peeling back to release a soft snarl. She was almost tempted to tear it up and leave the scene but another part of her thought about a possible raid, Roxanne sat down with a frustrated look. Eventually someone would come over and find her pondering with the opened letter in her grasp. [glow=COLOR,1,400]✧*:・゚[/glow]

LIKE THE MOON SAYS TO THE DARK — It wasn't long before Michael came padding up beside Roxie, the reaver having been practically like a shadow to her since she had returned from the Pitt. Gently nudging his side affectionately against his sister's – although carefully, not wanting to irritate her bandaged up wounds – the bobcat opened his muzzle to question what had her so worked up. He paused upon spotting the letter she was holding, his blue eyes scanning over the rather short invitation that was written. His ears pinned back almost immediately, flattening harshly against his skull as he hissed, not irritated at Roxie, but more at the situation as a whole, "There's no fuckin' way we're falling for this, right? I mean, for fuck's sake, you just got kidnapped, and we got that awful body that the damn Pitt left for us. There's no way that this isn't a trap of some kind." The thief knew a hell of a lot about traps and schemes, and he wasn't about to let anyone else walk into something so obviously suspicious. Thankfully, it at least seemed as though Roxie had the common sense to be on his side, considering the irritated expression on her face. — WE WILL NEVER BE APART

Re: I WANT A NEW BRAIN;; open - invitation - SÉAMUS - 07-31-2020

Séamus Ó Faoláin
Tricks and secrets were a trade the faerie knew well.  Like his older brother, he possessed a lust for knowledge -- just not of the scholarly sort.  As such, the Irishman felt his ears perk in interest as he trotted up to the sibling duo.  "Now that's interesting," he piped up, a sly grin beginning to split his face.

"I don't mind scopin' it out," especially if it were a trap.  While the faerie's twin enjoyed sailing into storms, Séamus enjoyed springing and escaping traps.  "If you believe it warrants some recon."

Perhaps 'Embry' was due to return to the Pitt; if nothing else than to steal Gael's attention for a simple moment and pry about recent events.  The pirate twitched his tail in thought, deciding to bring it up to Keona as soon as possible. "'Course we can just leave it be." Despite his nonchalance, the spy's curiosity had been caught and he wanted to see if Roxie and Michael were onto something.  Parties were unusual but entertaining traps and if it wasn't a trap, it still warranted some curiosity given the lack of signed group or scent.
