BURY A FRIEND // Goldie - CAESAR CIPHER. - 07-05-2020

Caesar knew he shouldn't even be near Tanglewood's lands, but he couldn't help himself being curious on whether or not the rumors were true about Vigenere becoming leader. The mere idea of his brother achieving such a rank was an insult to Caesar, and the fur on his shoulders twitched as he grew angry at the thought. That should be me. It always should have been him - even back when Vigenere had been chosen for the King's Guard! Caesar had always been angry at his littermate seemingly stealing the spotlight, and considering the fact he tried to join recently - and was rejected, thanks to Vigenere, no less - it was just a tad odd. Caesar had half the mind to try to convince Tanglewood that Vigenere had manipulated his way up the ranks. But how could he do that, if he wasn't welcome here?

Oh well, maybe someone could come by and he can whisper rumors to them while hidden. Caesar slunk along the undergrowth, his ears pricked for any signs of someone around him.

Goldenluxury, on the other hand, was brought up in Caesar's mind a lot. The tigress was seemingly the bane of his existence here on Earth; almost akin to his brother back home. Caesar had known Goldie since she was a child and never really considered her a threat until she started to grow some confidence and fight back - irritating at first, but slowly Caesar came to loathe the female as she got older. When he was exiled from The Typhoon, that hate was amplified - how dare she be promoted in favor of him? There was someone else too - Bakugou? Caesar could hardly remember - but he did remember that Pincher had promoted his daughter and that was infurating to the demon.

Goldenluxury had always been a daddy's girl in the savannah's mind. She was always hiding behind him and staying near him, as if he would protect her at a moment's notice. Of course, Caesar proved that wrong when he ended up attacking her and she lost her memory - but that was just something he could celebrate by himself. He wanted Goldie - and everyone else - to fear him. It was utterly frustrating when he didn't get his way, and in a sense, perhaps Caesar was the child in that case. He heard that Goldie had stepped up to Captain when her father died, which was no surprise, and Caesar was hoping that she would be far too occupied with running the hellhole that was The Typhoon to focus on other matters. Unfortunately, that was not the case, when Caesar attempted to kill Warringkingdoms.

That was another thing that made Caesar's blood boil. She had killed a perfectly good body, one that couldn't be repaired - he could possess it, sure, but what was good if it was blind and its senses dulled? If Caesar could find another powerful body he would, but unfortunately he had no luck just yet. Perhaps being in Tanglewood's swamp would help, though - but that wasn't his main goal here, he was wanting to spy on Tanglewood for now more than anything else.

It wasn't hard to hear such a large creature marching about the undergrowth, and Caesar went into alert mode as he caught the scent of The Typhoon - no, more notably, Goldie herself. Realizing it was the Captain, Caesar dug his claws into the ground, fighting the urge to just set himself on fire right here and now. But no, that would ruin his chance at a sneak attack, wouldn't it? Goldenluxury obviously had no idea he was here. Good. Caesar tried to climb up a tree as silently as possible, aiming to send a ball of fire at [member=48]goldenluxury[/member] 's back. The flames came from his mouth, burning the insides and causing there to be a slight metallic tang from his own blood. Caesar licked his lips - not really feeling it at the moment, of course - watching to see what would happen next.
