speed - stuck - fulzanin - 05-26-2020 CLONY [ age mover of the oblivions ] The items in this world were very strange to interact with. Back in the Badlands it was mostly machines and sparse plots of nature. It had a hard time dealing with nature, due to most of the time it's flight paths taking it through rough technological fields designed to kill it, and the other natives of its world. Most of the things of this world, of Elysium, tended to be natural. The trees and shore and ground and dirt were all natural. There was no metal. No lasers, which was the biggest disappointment within the bat's mind. It was all so unfamiliar. Clony liked to think that it was getting used to such a thing though. The 'steady' introduction to a natural world was actually quite pleasant. Not that it had been too steady, getting dropped into this one with a foreign body and a lack of knowledge of practically everything. Trees and the ocean still befuddled Clony on a daily basis, and it didn't see itself getting used to that all too quickly. Today would not be so pleasant for Clony, as the bat once again happened upon a precarious situation. Much like in the past where it had trapped itself beneath a bucket and had struggled to free itself, the bat had again gotten stuck. This time was by yet another modern marvel. Sticky, tape like ribbons covered its fluffy body, keeping it from being able to move. Clony struggled nonetheless, kicking and clawing with its tiny pearly talons. They were quite sharp, jagged, unkept, new to this world - perfect for trying to rip through the tape like items. However, its talons only wound up getting stuck as well. Out of options and in a literal bind, the bat lowered it's ears in shame. "Can someone help me get unstuck, please? Again? I thought this stuff would be silky feeling but its just up and restrained me!" It chatters with its normal broadcast, squirming on the ground to try and loosen the binds. It only wound up getting small rocks stuck as well, and earned a furious look on the bat's dark countenance. TAGS 3/17/20: Re: speed - stuck - – 2D - 05-28-2020

The decurion didn't really have a problem with nature, but unlike Clony, that was because he had been born into nature. As a loner, he and his parents had lived out in the wilds where no one could bother them, and 2D had become overwhelmingly used to the rustling of the leaves and the feel of dirt beneath his feet. Thinks had changed marginally when blood filled his gaze, but for the most part his familiarity with the land had helped him cope – even if eventually his familiarity had been snatched away when he went traveling with Murdoc. It had been a bit of an adjustment period, getting used to the feeling of mountain stone and snow beneath his paws, rather than warm and wet dirt, but he could still feel the wind in his fur, and take in all the sights, albeit blurry and slightly tinted. Even with all of the changes that had happened in his life as of recently, he still felt at home because he was surrounded by nature and life. Even when he was feeling at his lowest – which he hadn't in a while – he could just go for a walk on the beach, or go tumbling through the snow.
2D hadn't been feeling particularly crappy that day, but he still found himself out for a walk, humming idly as his paws hit rocky ground. However, his peace was interrupted by the desperate sounds of a familiar voice, causing the serval to perk up. Clony? Unstuck? Frowning in worry, the singer sped up his pace, moving over to where the call had come from. He ended up pausing when Clony finally came into view, its current predicament absolutely astounding him. What had it... done? He wasn't even sure what it had bound itself up in, if he was being honest. Not knowing what he was dealing with made him hesitant to approach, but it wasn't as if he could just leave Clony like that. So, moving over slowly, the lanky male stretched out a paw, awkwardly clawing at one of the strands as he muttered, "Clony...? What'd y'do t'get y'rself in fis mess? Where'd y'even find fese...?" He didn't want to proceed without knowing what he was dealing with a rip chunks out of the bat creature's fur. However, he also didn't want to leave Clony like this for long. Perhaps Murdoc would know better what to do...? 2d

The old canine tsk'd as he approached, shaking his head with amusement. "What kind of mess have you gotten yourself into, kid?" he asked as he sniffed at the odd sticky ribbons. "If we can getcha down to the ocean or somewhere similar, we should be able to wash whatever this is, off." He sniffs at the bindings again, huffing as he withdrew his head. If needed, he may be able to gnaw at whatever it was and give the bat a touch more mobility. © MADI
Re: speed - stuck - fulzanin - 06-04-2020 CLONY [ age mover of the oblivions ] "I was trying to make a laser, duh!" Clony insisted upon noticing the first to arrive. All Clony could really do was struggle against the sticky substance and fail to wriggle free. The feeling of it tugging against its fur was far from pleasant, and that was something Clony didn't like to admit. Being filled with pain felt like all sorts of prickly things, prickly things that were familiar and foreign all at the same time. They were one and the same, but yet incredibly different. Pearly eyes looked as 2D nudged at some of its binds, and a soft clicking noise sounded from the bat. A new noise, one that Clony was still learning to make and control. Clony kicked hopelessly with its grey colored feet, ears lowering once again. Clony's head turned upon hearing another voice, and its eyes were swift to narrow. This was the... person replacing Rin right now, right? Its brain turned for a few seconds, attempting to connect the dots. Sadly, Clony had no way to actually connect dots, and it decided that getting unstuck was a better endeavor to peruse. "I thought this would be something silky but its actually sticky! Which is stupid! I've been baited I tell you! Baited!" It chattered in response, tail managing a brief twitch. A twitch of its ears passed when it heard the notion of the ocean. A foreign place, not that Clony had found itself particularly against flying around the ocean's shores whenever it was bored. "Really? It just washes off? Huh. How am I gonna get down to the ocean? I can't get my wings open!" A clicking noise sounded from the bat as they struggled to try and pry their wings away from their sides. Alas, the strength of the sticky tape was superior to that of Clony's wings, and a disgruntled expression fell onto the bat's face once again. TAGS 3/17/20: |
