infra-red / joining - Jill - 04-21-2020
The last couple of months, she had wandered the neutral grounds aimlessly. What for? She didn't know. Maybe, it was for a change. Changes never hurt. Nothing stayed the same after all. Living was enough, and so was staying alive. The brown-furred serval was just glad to be alive and well. For months, she'd seen nothing but an endless sea of grass and frankly, she'd grown tired of it. Seeing the mountain path that led through the territory of Elysium, it was a relief. A change in scenery. As she continued to walk along the path many had walked before a lot of times before she had, Jill studied her surroundings closely. She was a little paranoid, about being here, but maybe it was all for nothing. Surely, those who lived around these parts were friendly. As she came to a halt at what she believed to be the border that led into the territory that the supposed group ruled over. Patiently, she lifted her head and sat down, waiting there in complete silence. Elysium. She believed that's what the group called themselves. //oops short- Re: infra-red / joining - arcy - 04-22-2020 Videogames
[div style="opacity: 70%;"]6 subscribers They'd been getting a fair amount of newcomers lately. Not that Videogames had much of a comparison, considering that an unsettling portion of his memory was blank, and also he'd spent far more time than was probably healthy hiding away for no real reason. "Uh, hey! What's up? Need something?" Videogames chirrups as he spots ... yet another serval. There'd been .. so many servals lately. Maybe they were a lot common than he'd realized they were. Regardless, he comes to a halt as he regards the other, beaming in what he hopes would be a comforting manner. //jokes on u mine is shorter :pensive: Category:

2D really hadn't thought much about the presence of other servals within Elysium when he had first joined. Species had never mattered much to him, considering he hadn't interacted with much of anybody before Murdoc, and while the other had become his best friend fairly quickly after their meeting, there couldn't be any more physical differences between them. Where 2D was tall, Murdoc was short. Where 2D was skinny, Murdoc was a healthy weight. Where 2D was blue, Murdoc was green. The singer had never thought much of it, which wasn't really a surprise. He didn't think much of anything, really. It made his head hurt too much, and honestly his head hurt enough on it's own. He preferred to just focus on things in the moment, rather than dwell within his own mind.
At this very moment, 2D found himself following after Videogames, intrigued by a new scent at the border of his new mountain dwelling home. He hadn't had the pleasure of welcoming anyone in yet, so the black eyed male found himself imbued with a sense of excitement as he padded after the other serval. Jill seemed rather plain compared to him, or even compared to Vid, but that wasn't a bad thing. After all, 2D had more than enough of his fill of strangeness just looking at himself in the mirror in the mornings. It was honestly a relief, meeting someone more normal. Waving a paw at Jill as he sat beside Vid, 2D mumbled in his usual cockney accent, "'Ello fere, miss." 2d
Re: infra-red / joining - Warringkingdoms - 04-23-2020 There was another stranger at the border- another serval. Rin didn't exactly keep track of everyone's species, since a lot of members changed bodies on a regular basis, but she had noticed a lot of servals recently. It was probably just statistical randomness, however, given that humans weren't around to start a reintroduction program; and if they were around, this would be the last place to do it. Walking up a group of three servals as a significantly-fluffier Norwegian Forest Cat, Rin thought to herself that they would be better off than her once the weather got warmer- which it would be soon. Spring was underway, and at this rate summer would be quick to follow. Time progressed in a varied flux, flowing like sludge some days and a raging river other days. The older she got, the more erratic time's movement became. If she thought about it for too long, however, she would be swallowed by the past. Better to focus on the present. Looking over at Vid, then at the stranger, she let his questions go without addition. She'd introduce herself, go into her spiel, and so on once the newcomer answered. Re: infra-red / joining - fulzanin - 04-26-2020 CLONY [ age mover of the oblivions ] New people were fun, Clony had realized. New people could be nice and friendly, which it quite liked. Exploring was fun too, and its large wings helped carry it around. Large ears helped it hone in on conversations, especially those that it could participate in. It was curious - the species that this newcomer was happened to confuse them a lot. Yet again, nearly every species here led to Clony being confused. Its confusion didn't quite matter, because a new face meant new people to talk to and be friends with! It quite liked friends, and its landing as it came over was as rough as ever. Perhaps its search for friends was based off how quiet its own head was now that it was alone? Such a thing didn't matter in the eyes of the 'new person must meet them' surge that took over Clony's processes. Large ears wriggled, hopping closer when it realized that its landing was a little further away than it would have liked. To double check that yes, this was a friend, it took note of the others around. They all seemed pretty normal, pretty laid back. That had to mean there was no threat, and its pearly eyes were wide with excitement. Such a burst of excitement coursed through its feathers, and it bounced a little on its tiny feet. New face, new friends, how delightful! No dastardly red colors either, which was an absolute bonus in comparison to if that one color had shown itself on the other's pelt. "Hi! I'm Clony! What's your name?" It chattered in its normal telepathic manner, bushy tail twitching in excitement. TAGS 3/17/20: |
