shinning like stars [o; preparing] - Alice - 04-12-2020

Alice really didn't care for pranks, but when Leroy mentioned The Typhoon she was hooked. The young and sickly feline wanted to visit them. More to explore their place and learn stuff about them. But it sounded like she needed to pull some kind of prank. That's why she had dragged Ivan into this. Seeing him at the meeting, she asked if he would want to join her. Alice was unsure if they liked pranks or if they were more in it for her reasons. To have an adventure! Or, maybe, they just wanted to make sure Alice was safe.

Now, she may just be a kid, but she knew it could be dangerous outside Tanglewood. People got hurt everyday, that's how her mom and dad had their ranks. So she didn't plan on going alone, though, she'll be disappointed if no adult wants to take them. But for now she'll focus on trying to come up with a prank? What would even make a good prank? She wasn't very good at this kind of thing. "Ivan? Do you have any ideas?" she asks, still trying to come up with something good. Maybe they could prank them with that was around Tanglewood. But she didn't know what to do with book and mud.

Mischievous was not a word that was commonly attributed to Ivan.  The Typhoon cubs’ prank had not been something he was fond of. It made him realize how different he was compared to most kids. His seriousness dragged at his feet like a shadow and he was uncomfortable with the idea that he was not very close to any of his peers, despite there being a ridiculous surplus of children. This sudden realization prompted him to make a commitment to be more receptive toward others. His siblings were fairly easy to get along with and he had little to non negative opinions of them. Alice was one whom he treated very kindly and he was certainly excited to be accompanying her. This would be the first time he ventured beyond the borders. They were three and a half months old now — they could take care of themselves, with perhaps an adult to help.

“They live on an island.” He recalled Goldie’s fishy scent. The smell of dirt and mud was much better, or perhaps he was just used to it. “Well they painted our trees. Maybe we could put mud all over theirs or near their border.” He wasn’t really good at these things, but he was trying.

The newly tilted emissary heard a scuttle from afar, causing his green gaze to shift over towards Alice and Ivan in the distance. The two were familiar to him, but very vague. Thankfully, Ivan’s interest in providing The Typhoon with mischief caught Raymond’s eye. As their ambassador, he did need to visit frequently. Hopefully, a little fun would count, as long as it didn’t tarnish his reputation with Goldenluxury and the rest of her pirate crew. Even with that in mind, he wasn’t sure what the two were doing as he observed from afar. Little did he know, they were planning for their glorious prank... and they had a willing adult to escort them.

Curiosity surged though the panther, causing him to saunter towards the two younglings. Raymond only stopped a few tail lengths away from them. “Hello you two,” he casually commented. His green eyes looked them up and down. “What’s the occasion?” As per usual, he was nosy and intrusive.

/aaa this is gonna be cool <3

HUNG PICTURES OF PATRON SAINTS UP ON MY WALL TO REMIND ME THAT I AM A FOOL. TELL ME WHERE I CAME FROM, WHAT I WILL ALWAYS BE: JUST A SPOILED LITTLE KID WHO WENT TO CATHOLIC SCHOOL
When Aurum had first heard Leroy talking about pranking the Typhoon, he had been skeptical. Not because he wasn't up for a bit of good natured fun, but just because he didn't want somebody taking it too far, or worse – somebody getting hurt. After all, not that long ago, he had witnessed Evarhi trying to launch himself at Beck for a simple prank. While Beck hadn't been hurt, of course, it still hadn't been a great experience, and the proxy wasn't eager for anybody else to be on the receiving end of someone's anger issues. Despite all of this, the angel couldn't help the small smile that lingered on his muzzle as he spotted Alice and Ivan, talking quietly amongst themselves. It didn't surprise him that they would want to get in on the pranking action, even with Alice's lingering health problems. It wasn't as if there weren't plenty of adults around to help keep them safe, after all. Letting out a low hum from the back of his throat, the lion trotted up beside Raymond, offering the other a dip of his head before he looked towards the pair of children. Still smiling, Aurum chuffed softly at them, "Are the two of you up to something? Do go easy on the Typhoon, Goldie's got enough on her plate just trying to rangle all those pirates." After all, this whole pranking thing wouldn't have happened in the first place if they hadn't had kids painting their border.

Put mud everywhere? It was messy but simple and it wouldn't be too much of a problem for them to clean up. Sounded alright to the orange and white feline. Though, she had no other pranks to really compare it to. Alice gave them a soft nod before looking to Raymond and Aurum. Her uncle seemed to know what they were up to and was happy they didn't seem against it. Part of her had feared no one would let her go simply because she coughed often. Alice was sure she would be fine! But she knew her family worried about her from the looks they gave her.

"I admit pranks aren't really my thing but it would be cool to visit another group. Do you think-" Alice cuts herself off with a cough, "-do you think one of you can come with us? I'm a little nervous to go without an adult there." she admits another thing about herself. She was sure the leader of Tanglewood wouldn't tell them to prank The Typhoon if it was dangerous. But she could never be too careful. Looking to Ivan to make sure it was okay to invite an adult with them.

Pranks were fun, just not his forte. Octane had tried to prank him before, many times. Be it sneaking up on him and putting a stim in his arm or tackling him from behind.
Typically, this was met with a swift kick by the chemist, and Octane curled on the floor in pain.
Pranking them provided oppurtunity to see the cheetah, so at the mention of having an adult come with, he spoke up, approaching.

"I can come with you two to chaperone."

It was hardly a complex or even very good idea, but Ivan was glad Alice was receptive to it. But writing something like THE TYPHOON SUCKS would seem childish and he still hadn't interacted with Goldie enough to really be able to evaluate her character. Perhaps they would just fling mud on the trees like the Typhoon cubs did to them.

The two adult males seemed interested enough and Ivan was endlessly thankful for them not being patronizing. Aurum's quip went over his head, mainly because Ivan had known nothing but of Tanglewood and its culture. If such a group was rowdy, well he was sure as glad he had not been born there.

Of all people, Caustic showed up to volunteer as the chaperone and Ivan's lip twitched upward in amusement. The ridge of his brow raised as he glanced at the other adults. More than three would be a crowd, but perhaps Alice would enjoy the extra protection. "Brilliant. I'll find som buckets, if this is all settled now." He didn't want to be waiting for too long.
