SAINT BERNARD SLEEPS ☆ leaving - roan ; - 04-07-2020 [div style="width: 45%; text-align: justify; font-size: 12pt; letter-spacing: -1px; font-family: times new roman;"]♡ — Roan had not been within the Pitt's territory for an exceedingly long amount of time. However, the little over a week that he had spent within the group had been nice, getting to interact with those he had once thought were heartless just to find out that they really weren't. People like Aine, Silver, Kydobi, and Piers... they had all been kind to him for the brief period of time he had stayed within the desert, and for that he was grateful. Ultimately though, the Pitt was not his home. The Pittians here were surprisingly kind, and he was sure he could make friends of many of them with time, but he missed home. Spending a birthday without his friends and family had been bad enough, and he couldn't imagine what he would do if another one passed while he was wallowing in guilt. He couldn't imagine what his mother would do. Even if he had ended up hurting his mama... he could practically feel her sorrow from miles away, and he knew that she was yearning for him to come back. He didn't want her or anyone else showing up to the Pitt's border in a rage, thinking that they had taken him or anything. He'd feel horrible if he ended up causing his new friends trouble in some way.
So, the draconic apprentice packed up the one thing he had gotten while he was within the Pitt – a small alligator hair pin, from the marketplace. He thought she would like it, and perhaps it would serve to mend their relationship somewhat after what he had done. With that packed away in a little box, Roan bid farewell to Silver before he padded out of the hollow, opening his wings and shaking out his fluff. He couldn't really fly for long just yet, but he could fly at least part of the way, to make it go faster. Before he took off, however, he hesitated at the border. He didn't want to just disappear on the rest of them, especially not the ones that had been especially kind to him, like Aine and Piers. For them, he put his little gift down in the sand, turning and calling out, "Hello? Hello, is anybody nearby? It's Roan!" He allowed a couple of seconds to pass before he continued, shifting his paws nervously, "I'm not sure if anyone will really care, but... I'm gonna be going. I need to get back home, and I don't want to cause any of you any more trouble. I'm just telling you to... I dunno. Say goodbye? You've all been very kind to me, especially considering where my home is, so... thank you." He then waited to see if anyone would see him off, tail curling around jittering paws. CAESAR CIPHER. MALE. THE PITT. DWELLER.
Caesar was never a fan of Roan in the first place and had been keeping an eye on the kid as much as he possibly could during his time here. "Good riddance." The savannah grunted upon hearing Roan's words, his tail flicking dismissively. Re: SAINT BERNARD SLEEPS ☆ leaving - aine. - 04-08-2020 [align=center] I'll come back when you call me Roan. She knew he wouldn't stay, but it had been nice meeting family who didn't leave immediately; like her cousins Raziel and Kian. Still. She knew he would be missing home, especially given the circumstances. Hopefully everything worked out when he got there. She didn't know what she'd do if she accidentally hurt her father; she might run too.The petite deer-fox trotted up with a smile, pointedly ignoring Caesar, though not without an indigent sniff. Was Roan sure he wanted to make the trip alone? Did he know to stop for water? Or what herbs kept strength up? Her ears flicked back nervously. What if he didn't? He was family, she wanted him to make it home safely. "..." Her tongue rested on the roof of her mouth, uncertain. "B-be careful, Roan. Y-You should um. Stop to drink water after-after getting through the desert, okay? 'An-'an if you get tired, loo-look for chamomile." "... It was nice. It was nice to meet you, Roan." — aine | the pitt | commodore of the crows | fae druid — Re: SAINT BERNARD SLEEPS ☆ leaving - roan ; - 04-11-2020 [div style="width: 45%; text-align: justify; font-size: 12pt; letter-spacing: -1px; font-family: times new roman;"]♡ — Unfortunately for Roan, the first to arrive on the scene was none other than Caesar. The Pittian had been nothing. It a pain not only to him, but also to his superiors and clanmates as well, a fact that made the apprentice grimace a bit. For the most part he just ignored the yellow feline, flicking his tail in a sort of dismissing farewell to the other. He then turned to Aine, a face that he was far happier to see sending him off. Smiling softly, he nodded firmly at her pieces of advice, claws sinking into the ground below him with a bit of anxiety. He knew he'd be in for a rough trip, but that was okay with him. Moving forward, the male gently touched his nose to her head in a sort of familial goodbye, mumbling, "Thanks, Aine... it was really nice to meet you too. I hope we can see each other some more sometime... hopefully under better circumstances." He offered her a crooked grin before he stepped back. Gripping the little package he had in his jaws, he glanced around for any last stragglers to see him off. When he was satisfied, he offered a nod to Aine and the others, turning and heading over the border.
