doctors can't explain [o; joining] - Mallory - 04-07-2020
She didn't mind water, in fact, swimming could be fun. But salt water and wounds. Not a fun mix. 3/10. Wouldn't recommend unless you like pain. And while she fancied pain here and there, she was not in the mood for it today. The large black husky didn't know how she ended up swimming in the ocean near the island that belongs to The Typhoon, a group she didn't know anything about really. But that was life sometimes. Like, sometimes you go to this really great party and then end up with a major headache in the ocean. The husky heaves herself out of most the water on to... a railroad? To her pleasure it didn't look like it was used. Though, she was picking up the lingering scents of many different creatures plus the ocean air. Coughing half the sea out of her lungs, the dog was finally able to take a breather. Looking around with golden hues, a massive island in front of her. Well, this was a sight to see. She only hoped the locals were nice. Since she had been looking for a place to crash and why not this place? Maybe it could be sweet ol' home in do time. Shaking the water from her fur as she takes in the gate before her. This must be the way in, though, she wasn't to sure how to get in. Let alone if she would be allowed in. Surly someone would come around and see her here. The taste of salt still on her tongue. "Oi! Anyone around?" she calls out, thinking maybe their was no one here. But the scents had been rather recent. Re: doctors can't explain [o; joining] - GAMELIA B . - 04-07-2020 Re: doctors can't explain [o; joining] - michael t. - 04-08-2020 Michael was no stranger to wild parties himself, even if most of the time his involvement in those parties only extended as far as grumbling about too many people and mooching off the food. Trevor had always been more of the partying type, while Michael was just sort of the unwilling participant that got dragged along with him because he was in love with the coyote. Either way, the fugitive couldn't remember any times where a party had ended with him washing up on the lands of some unknown group, and for that he was grateful. It was bad enough that he had once had to drag himself to the Pitt in order to get treatment for his injuries. Needless to say, the bobcat wasn't a huge fan of being in unfamiliar territory unless he had intentionally chosen to be there. He also couldn't imagine the combo of hangover and seasickness that would come from being tossed around by the waves until you were deposited on the shore. Just thinking about it probably would've been enough to make the thief gag a little. Either way, Michael found himself trailing after Gamelia when he heard Mallory's call, wondering who had decided to show up at their border this time. It wasn't that he didn't like having joiners, it was just that they had been getting some pretty damn odd ones lately... not that anybody would think him to be too normal, considering the scarring that littered his body and the jewelry he chose to decorate himself in. Either way, Michael was somewhat relieved to see that the voice at the border had been a seemingly normal husky, even if the smell of seawater on her was somehow even stronger than any Typhooners. Coming up beside Gamelia, the bobcat took a seat, wrinkling his nose a little at the strong salt scent before he spoke, "Uh, hey. What she said, plus, what's your name? You're kinda on a group's territory at the moment." It was sweet of Gamelia to be so concerned for this newcomer, but they also had themselves to worry about too, right? The dark husky was covered in small cuts, unsure of where they came from. Oh, how fun! They would probably itch in irritation for a bit till they healed. But nothing too damaging had been done to her body. That was a plus! While she reeked of sea water and blood, the husky was taking in the scent of candy. Had she hit her head? Nope. It was just a dragon, a very cool looking dragon she might add. They seemed sweet with their candy scent and asking if she was alright. "Aren't ya a sweet thing?" yellow eyes looked them over. Oh, she could just eat them up! Before she can respond to their question, someone else makes an appearance. This one being a bobcat with a lot of work done to them? She thought it was pretty cool. As the black dog was rather boring looking in this body, but other time she could change that. But for now she was stuck like this. Back to the topic. Was she hurt? "Uh, yeah. Got a couple of scraps here and there. Wouldn't hurt too bad but that salt water is a real pain." her body throbbed but she was pretty sure that was from the headache and memory lost of where she was before this. But she was going with the flow. "My name? Well, it's Mallory!" she sounded pretty sure. Though, not her actual name but she can remember that later. Plus, Mallory sounded nice. "Ya lads have a name for this group you're talking about? Taking any joiners?" Mallory asked, seeing as she had no where else to go. Good. It seemed like this group was the friendly bunch. That was nice. Mallory listens to Gamelia, hoping they were right about her fitting in here. The husky was friendly enough, though she didn't make friends that last for long. She normally came and went. But maybe this place would stick. If not, she hoped she would at least have fun here. "Gamelia! Nice to meet ya." her eyes look to the other who was here, wondering if they would offer up their name now or if she was gonna have to ask. "The Typhoon ya say? That sounds pretty cool. Ya folks got anything ta' eat? I'm famished." the dog confesses, hoping they had something to spare for the newcomer. If not, maybe point her in the direction where she could find something for herself. Re: doctors can't explain [o; joining] - michael t. - 04-13-2020 Well, it seemed as though this new chick was just someone looking for somewhere to stay. That was a relief to Michael, who allowed himself a soft sigh as he watched the interaction between Gamelia and Mallory. It was a nice change of pace from things when he had first gotten here, dealing with threats like direwolves, and then later showing up to the border only to find a Pittian returning Roxie's kid. Hopefully Mallory wouldn't be anywhere near as much trouble. Or, if she was, hopefully she'd funnel that trouble to higher ups like Goldie, and not turn his life upside down with it. He was pulled from these thoughts when Mallory glanced in his direction, and the bobcat blinked in surprise before speaking, "Shit, right. Nice to meet you, Mallory. My name's Michael De Santa." He was still using his cover name when it came to joiners, just in case one day it finally happened that somebody recognized him as a wanted thief – he really hoped that day never came. When the canine then asked about food, Michael chuckled before responding, "I don't have anythin' on me, but we've got a tavern with food, and a prey stockpile, if you wanna try raiding that."
