KEKHAI   dragon-jaguar hybrid - alithís evgenis - they/them

They had gotten a little bit bigger since their hatching. Not significantly, but it was enough to allow the youth easier methods of mobility. While horns had yet to grow in and their fur was patchy and near nonexistent, Kekhai certainly was growing. Their brother, Leoku, had already begun to grow his horns and wings. Kekhai was behind in that way. They still grew, but in a different way than their siblings. Some of them were already learning how to talk and play in a manner that represented the mighty prowess of being royal children - and some were already demanding to be seen from that exact viewpoint. Kekhai was a little different. They hadn't spoken much more than baby blatherings yet. Heaped together mewls and peeps that came from their mouth. Tiny teeth had begun to grow in. Nothing significant yet, certainly, but they were growing in a steady manner alongside the deep grey fur. They still looked like an odd silver worm, in every form of honesty. Spare the deep grey patches of fur and the ears that had started to stick out from Kekhai's head, their body was still a near pure silver in color. Fins were the only protrusions spare a mouth and the lanky legs that the hatchling possessed. There was webbing beginning to grow inbetween the toes, but it wasn't exactly the most notable thing.

Where their brother had deemed themself a mighty prince, Kekhai really wasn't deep within their growth to make such a proclamation. They were seeking out the fun of life, the joys of youth. Not intentionally, it was simply happening alongside the youth's search for some joyous task to partake in. "Duhdiduhdii," came the babbling that slid from the hatchling's jaws as their silvery form went charging after a nearby and rounded object. What it was, exactly? Probably a toy; or so was what Kekhai's mind was thinking. Grubby paws and small talons tried to curl around the ball. A form of a pounce was the youth's charge, blundering on into the rounded item. A jagged squeal broke forth as the object began moving. They were not to be deterred by a change in position. They wriggled and positioned their feet in a clunky crouching position. They sprung upwards, flinging themself towards the object again. They were too far away, and missed. The air that was pushed from their collapse did move the rounded spherical object, though, and that warranted a bout of happy peeping as well. Kekhai slowly moved their talons beneath their body again, returning to a lopsided standing position. A grin was present on their face, tail knotted behind them from the tumble. "Fififii!" They squealed to voice their absolute delight, and went barreling after the object again. It was a pleasant and childish sight, the young hybrid darting about at a pace that matched his small, lanky form.

Kekhai was one of his many siblings. Not that that meant anything. Nothing at all. He had a lot and when things came in bulk they didn’t really have value as the more precious things.

And he couldn’t really stand his siblings to start with. He was by far better than them and they all seemed to not know it.

Especially leoku. That sissy needed a lesson and Ev was more than happy to deliver it. His webbing on the side of his face wiggled for a moment as he spotted Kekhai. He looked at them for a moment before hearing them try to talk.

A groan of pure irritation came from him, “Are you stupid? What the hell are you even trying to say? Idiot.”

His pride was swelling as he gained momentum, “I think you’re an accident. A dumb idiot. Something is wrong with you. Cant blame your dad for not coming around. I’d like to forget about you too”
