SWEET HUNNIE PIE / samantha - bubblegum - 01-28-2020 Re: SWEET HUNNIE PIE / samantha - deimos - 01-28-2020
It wasn't like something wasn't encapsulating Sam's mind as well. The itch, the burn. It was a yawning void of need, almost, and Sam knew very well what it was. It was faster approaching then it had been with the greaser- faster then she wanted it to be, maybe. She had her reservations. The last time this had happened, not a week later they had lost each other. She couldn't let it happen again. If she did lean into this, and mind you this was a constant battle (whether she would lean into it or not), she wouldn't let herself be torn away from Goldie. Not for the world. Goldie had invited her, and of course Sam was going to say yes. She wasn't sure what exactly they'd be eating, but it wasn't like the still-slightly-malnourished doecat was going to say no. Food was food. So here came Sam, troping through the woods, looking a little bit healthier then her last, well, they're last.. sleepover. She cleared her throat as she approached the rather nervous looking tiger, tilting her head a little bit. Just hanging out with a friend. Just hanging out with a friend. Sam cleared her throat. "I brought some stuff to uh.. have overnight. In case we didn't travel back today." She had a satchel at her side, clipped on. It looked like it just carried a blanket and a pack of smokes, and a lighter. But, yknow, that was Sam. She gave Goldie a small smile, trying not to look like she was about to explode with nervousness herself. Sam didn't want to be read, most of the time. That was the brave face she put on. They couldn't take that away from her, her guard, her upfront nasty tone and bristled fur. She was defensive, and who could blame her? But like Goldie's inner walls, the ones to keep people from getting close, Sam's outer wall was so easily broken for her. But when she looked at Goldie, she became confused, those walls lowering like a portcullis. Open, easy, welcoming. The gate is down. She nodded a bit as Goldie replied. Her ears twitched a little bit, however. The effort had been noticed, Goldie traveling here often to speak with her, even it was just a tired "hi, how are you." It was warming to Sam, and it wasn't like it would go unnoticed. After all, she had agreed to stepping outside of Tanglewood once again. She seemed to miss the tiny cue of her paws shifting on the grass. She shook her head. "I'd be really surprised if y' managed to scare me off at this point." Sam gave a chuckle at that. Oh, how ignorance made for easy conversation. However, her eyebrows rose and ears perked as she lowered one wing. "Are y' sure? I don't want to exhaust you." She said, stepping closer and wiggling her way up onto her back, making sure to not dig her hooves into Goldie's back in an exhausting way. She didn't seem to notice how close she was, before flattening her ears with a grunt. "How am I supposed to hold on, anyways?" Sam questioned, leaning forward to try to look at Goldie. She didn't seem to notice how close she was to her cheek. "SPEECH" Re: SWEET HUNNIE PIE / samantha - bubblegum - 01-30-2020 Re: SWEET HUNNIE PIE / samantha - deimos - 02-02-2020
Had Goldie and Sam shared stories of previous encounters, they would have found a similar story told in both times. Lost contact, and bullshit. Sam felt anger, bitter anger, but also fear, knowing that Dean could have found her in the end- or, never found her at all because they couldn't find her body, or- no, the possibilities were too great. The vision that was missing would go unheard, and for quite the while as well. She exhaled softly, raising her eyebrows at Goldie. She wasn't entirely sure that was a true statement, of course. Handling it, and actually managing to fly for that long without getting injured or crash landing seemed to be two different things that she couldn't handle sometimes. Hell, she had stopped at Tangle just because she had been flying too much and too often. All Sam had were some minor doubts about Goldie's health. Her stomach did flips when Goldie spoke, and she cleared her throat. She nodded a tiny bit, as if she was in a panic, leaning her head back with another clearing of her throat. "If.. if you say so." She responded in a quiet murmur, as if she was suddenly afraid someone would see them, or hear them. Public stance, for Sam, meant a hard face with a quick to pick up friendship kind of personality. She was an asshole, but then again, so was most of Tanglewood in their own little way. When Goldie started to move, her paws moved on their own, wrapping around Goldie's neck gently and her head pressing in because, fuck, Sam didn't know what else to do with it. That's exactly when the jitters got to Sam. Just friends, she told herself, we're just friends. Going for a walk. She's carrying me there because I can't walk that far, just a bit weak for that. Her heart was beating too hard, for just a walk, she remarked to herself. A tiny noise came from the doe-cat, before she picked up her head, shaking the antlered cranium a little bit to try and center herself. She huffed gently, laying her cheek against the backside of Goldie's neck. "Jus' don't drop me and I won't have to." She piqued gently in return, knowing that if the silence started to stretch on, Sam wouldn't forgive herself. Sam, the last time she had felt a crush, it grew on her unwittingly. Unknowingly. She couldn't figure it out until it was time to say goodbye. There was too much on their minds, all of them- the journey to Georgia, the multiple different problems on their tail- Grey Men, Wildmen.. no, it had happened too fast and too sweetly for her to be able to go back against it. She didn't like how it happened. But it had happened. But this, her and Goldie? It was different. This trust had slowly been built, from night one on the beach, to now, hugging her back in fear of flying. Speaking of flying, Sam had never flown before. This was causing her to seize up a little bit. What if she fell? What if she landed on a rock? Oh, fuck her, rocks sounded hard to land on. "Boat sounds better. I would appreciate it." Sam managed to mumble out, lifting her head a bit. Her ears twitched, swiveling swiftly and quickly around only to realize Goldie had just been.. walking. Wow. She cleared her throat, shifting herself a bit to get more comfortable. Besides, Goldie's back was nice and wide. Maybe it'd be like sitting in the back of the Pontiac for a while, wouldn't it? Much more comfortable then the bike. Sam reached up and smacked herself with a paw, but not audibly. She hoped that Goldie didn't see her do that, she thought to herself, only to blink as Goldie started to move a bit faster. She held her breath, those large ears of hers pressing flat against her head as they started off. Sam suddenly worried she was too heavy, that Goldie wouldn't be able to make it too high without faltering. Slowly, the fears, the worries, sloughed away. Her gaze shifted about the ocean for a moment, leaning her muzzle over to watch the waves just beyond the soft feathers lining Goldie's extra limbs. She gave a sigh of content, without even realizing it. Maybe Sam wanted to be the person that kept Goldie distracted. Maybe she'd be the person to relieve her fears, but maybe Sam wasn't completely ready for it. She wasn't ready to let go of the Grey, the greaser in black, her brother in his puffy jacket. But maybe it was time for change. "SPEECH" Re: SWEET HUNNIE PIE / samantha - bubblegum - 02-12-2020 Re: SWEET HUNNIE PIE / samantha - deimos - 02-17-2020
This would be one change she would lean into. One change that would bring plenty others, one that she'd know to come and love and cherish this moment, the moment she chose to truly trust Goldie with her life, pressed up against her back, eyes shifting about at the sun-kissed sky, her paws gently linked against Goldie's fur. This was it, she decided, with a haughty breath and a shift of her hips. This is what she wanted. Her eyes met Goldie's for an instant, before skipping away, a twist of surprise.. surprise?.. in her stomach. The gentle banking of Goldie made it evident that the flight was ending. One on hand, Sam was relieved. But on the other, she knew that she didn't want it to be over. She wanted to stay in those clouds, just her and Goldie, and her star-eyes slowly dropped away as Goldie landed, skidding a bit. Sam's breath caught, holding onto Goldie just a little bit more before shaking out her fur, grumbling a bit. "Show off." She remarked. She blinked, however, no announcement of arrival, no request to get off. Sam turned her head a bit, then flattened her ears, flushing a bit and sliding off. She stretched her legs out, the prey end of her body giving a few shakes. Her eyes flicked towards the shack. "Beck?" A bit of bitter surprise graced her feelings. However, those dropped away quickly. Beck wasn't going to take Goldie from her, no way. She nodded a bit thereafter. "Y-yeah. It was.. really good." For once, Sam kicked at the sand, then grimaced. She hated sand. It got everywhere. The look quickly dropped away as she started to head towards the hut, glancing back at Goldie before jogging ahead, playfully trying to get there first. "SPEECH" |
