I'm making an attack [p] - CAUSTIC. - 01-28-2020

CAUSTIC Caustic, to fill his time, made a direct beeline from the cave system he called home to the jungle outside. Moving into the caves was better for him, it gave him enough separation from the others and an actual semblance of privacy. Caustic began to wonder how long he was stuck here, but he needed to meet with the other members and inquire about the other clans. Sure, he could probably leave with little issue, but Caustic needed a group that would understand his need for privacy. Privacy allowed him to work in dedicated silence and more vitally, let him perform his dastardly experiments below. As long as he didn't have to start asking permission to perform his process, they shouldn't have any problems. He found the people arriving at the border to be heavily distracting. The wolf was currently collecting his next test subject, it was already damaged as he had clamped his jaws down on its hips to keep it from escape. Caustic held the the primate under him, leg applying pressure to its neck. He needed it alive, and Caustic could simulate how his gas should be reacting. Asphyxiation was impersonal, but he pulled joy from watching the primate intake the green smoke from Caustic's mouth. He wished the primate's lungs were bleeding from the inside out, fur peeling from flesh- it passed out. The wolf raised himself, grabbing the primate around the shoulders as gently as possible. The wolf's ears flicked, noise, pawsteps. He rolled his eyes. If it was a joiner, he really did not want to have to interact with them. Heat, he could not and would not do. Yet here he was, roaming around the desert. Ugh, Olalla couldn't stand it, couldn't stand the sand between his toes or the sun beating down relentlessly onto his dark back. The male's paws dances wildly as he hopped from one scalding sand dune to another. The smell of thick grass and folding leaves drew him in like a fish to a warm. A mistake if any. Olalla moved from sand to underbrush in a matter of minutes. Strange; the heat acting as a motive for him to, well, for him to get the hell out of there. The sound of bugs and birds chirping, even the sound of mineral filled water dropping from a stalactite in some foreboding cave. Caves..Caves. Caves were cold, caves were quite, caves were exactly the thing he needed to be in right now. It'd give the the beast a break from the sweltering heat and the annoying throbbing in his paws from walking. With a small smile upon his face he turned himself towards the drip drip dripping coming from the cave. He'd always been somewhat decent at navigation, it'd didn't take him long to find the entrance to the cave. T'was almost grotto like. If he hadn't been the leader of his own little organization, he would have taken serious thought to joining the pitt. Though now? Under Kydobi's rule? Not so much. Under Jervis' rule, the brute would at least had a chance to continue his...research. Olalla knew of the pact that Kydobi and Goldenluxury had made, knew of the execution. A sad day for some, a glorious day for others. The pact. That damn pact was the only thing that might have stopped him from joining. He had no doubt that Kydobi would be a great Ardent of The Pitt, but something inside him told the beast to steer clear of the big cat; he'd only ever had caused trouble. Why would he be any different as an Ardent now than he had been in a lowly rank? An odd sight fell upon Olalla's eyes that had been skulking around in the underbrush. Green clouds. Green? What the hell? He knew that The Pitt was known for their weird actions and environment, but this? This was ridiculously fanatical. Grabbing the biggest leaf he could find and wrapping it around his muzzle and face like a plague mask, the beast walked around the clouds and followed them to there source. What he saw next was odder then the clouds themselves. The clouds were made, not rendered by the world. Animal made. Wolf made. The beast watched as it picked off and strangled the primate. Then, more gas. As it raised itself off the ground, Olalla's eyes widened a bit. It was bulky. Olalla still loomed over the creature, but it obviously had muscle. How deliciously perfect. "Well aren't you just a brute?" [sub][member=10990]CAUSTIC.[/member][/sub] Re: I'm making an attack [p] - CAUSTIC. - 01-30-2020

CAUSTIC Caustic's ears flicked back as he heard the paw steps of another large animal. He kept the primate between his fore legs as he stood, squaring his shoulders and making himself look larger. His jaw opened, letting the gas come out in a plume of green. Green eyes locked onto the other creature, glancing to the leaf around its face. If his gas actually worked, no mere leaf would have protected them from Caustic's poison. This creature didn't know of Caustic's ineffective gas, and he planned to keep it that way. The gas clouding from his mouth, a visual warning to anyone who dared to prey on him. Caustic's eyes narrowed at the beast, face hardening into a serious frown. He sniffed, noticing the outsider's scent and letting his ears lean back. The wolf's tail raised, posing himself as a threat. "It would be wise for you to keep your distance."

Re: I'm making an attack [p] - Olalla - 01-30-2020 [div style="width: 90%;overflow: stretch;text-align: justify;font-size: 8pt;background-color: #212121;font-size: 15pt;text-align: center;"][div style="background-color:#212121;width:90%;overflow: auto;color: #C1F0F6;"] [div style="background-color:#BG COLOR;width:90%;max-height: 350px;overflow: auto;"][div style="background-color:#BG COLOR;width:90%; overflow: stretch;text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt;"] Down go the ears and..yep there goes the tail, Olalla knew the stance all too well. Yes, he was a big brute, but even so, his build wouldn't be enough to ward off the beast. He gave a chuckle- more of a cackle- as he bore down at the clouded wolf whom warned him. "Even if those clouds are spilling from your mouth like foul honey," he grinned. Olalla's thick teeth clicked as he spoke. "I would have kept my distance whether you warned me or not." The wolf in front of him stared almost viciously into his eyes, just like Olalla, he enjoyed seeing others wither under his gaze. The beast knew what he was doing, for he did it too; stared right back.To Those Who Warn Without breaking his gaze, Olalla sat back on his haunches. His paw raised to his covered mouth, the gesture still clearly visible though. "Oh but where are my manners," he rumbled. "My name is Olalla. To whom do i owe the pleasure of meeting today?" Sarcasm caked his voice, he made sure it was pretty damn apparent too. Olalla had to admit, the clouds. Those green clouds sparked a small ember of fear somewhere in the ashes of his soul. Would it kill him? Probably. If the clouds didn't rip open his lungs from the inside him, the brute would probably do it from the outside if the beast kept his little shtick up. CAUSTIC Caustic was familiar with these types. They were dreadfully boring, but came in different colors of persona. Hot-headed, stoic, jeering, sometimes playful, but all were the same. They killed for fun, for sport. They were sarcastic and thought they were ready for the brutality of the Apex Games. They all choked the same. None were ready for Caustic's traps or his brutality. He wasn't a fan of the cackle, and it made the wolf's face narrow into an angered gaze. Mad laughter characterized with these personality types was for children. "Caustic." Green puffed from his face as he said his name. Green eyes glanced back towards the desert, no doubt where this savage pulled himself from. Olalla was a stranger, and on a primal level, Caustic acknowledged that he should kick the beast out. He didn't belong here. "You should leave." Not the most friendly type, but he was still thankful that the brute didn't kill him on the spot. He tested the name on his tongue, it was an odd name but then again, so was Olalla. He made a 'humph' sound as Caustic practically told him to leave; ignoring his sentence all together. The beast turned his head, Olalla's eyes following his gaze out to the desert. Sometimes, he really wished he could read even the darkest of minds. To Those Who Judge He didn't look back at the brute, Olalla blinked. "How do you do it," he rumbled. The beast flicked his ear, a smile drifting onto his face as he looked back at the dark wolf. "How do you make those clouds? Do you have an extra sack within your stomach that allows you to form them? Is there a special flap in your throat that helps make them, like an alligator's throat flap that keeps water out." He sat up from his haunches, though he had asked three questions already, he still had one more left. It wasn't to important, but Olalla still wanted to know. "Does your throat burn when you make them?" The beast tilted his head, glancing at the primate but to be honest, he wasn't very interested in monkey's. [sub][member=10990]CAUSTIC.[/member] [/sub] OOC: Damn man, harsh. Haha Re: I'm making an attack [p] - CAUSTIC. - 02-06-2020

CAUSTIC Caustic inched closer, perhaps putting himself range to attack the beast if it didn't listen to him. The wolf was too serious for such small talk, and wondered what Olalla's motive was here. Was he simply bored, or did he have something to gain? Caustic's pupils widened in the slightest as Olalla asked him questions, brief distractions, but good ones. "Data on my personal anatomy is inconclusive." What was he going to do? Dissect himself? It was simple, otherwise. Caustic in took fresh air and it came out as the gas. It didn't burn him. Maybe Olalla was probing him with questions to figure out if he was a treat. This was wasting his time. "I have already told you to leave. Unless you have some other trivial business in the Pitt, I suggest you do so. I will not repeat myself." That was Caustic's threat, he would turn the beast into his own experiment. Olalla needed to peak Caustic's interest or the wolf would run him out like a bad dog. // sorry that caustic isn't open to interactions he's a huge recluse

Re: I'm making an attack [p] - Olalla - 02-11-2020 [div style="background-color:#212121;width:90%;overflow: auto;color: #C1F0F6;"] To Those Who Ponder [div style="background-color:#BG COLOR;width:90%; overflow: stretch;text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt;"] The beast's gave a snort, a snicker following soon after. "Understood, understood," he gave a sly glance over to the dark wolf. "The things that creatures like us do are better kept secrete." You actual dumbass The word us, in this case, shouldn't be thrown around so loosely. He was gambling with life or death here, but then again. When was he not? Cliche, yes he knew this. But hey, what the hell. He gawked at the clouds again, and the same couple of questions ran through his head again. How did he do it? Olalla put his paw to his covered mouth, a small chuckle falling from his black lips. "Your final warning will be taken back after my offer." His dim yellow eyes walked up the brutes demeanor and structure. "I know what you must be thinking," he rumbled. "Whats this asshole doing coming into my home pack and then making me an offer, right?" He let his paw fall again, his eyes still fixed on Caustic. "At least hear me out before you chase me off." Olalla sat up strait and gave a covered smile. "What if i offered you a place to do whatever the hell your doing in a pack that accept it. Where you dont have to hide away and do it in secrecy. In a pack where your goals are shared by your fellows and brethren. What if i told you i could offer you a place to really do research?'" he grumbled. "Would you be interested?" If he wasn't, then he'd see his self out. If he was, then Olalla would b leaving with a new pack member.
