THE WORLD OF IMAGINATION ;; o, reading - tristitia - 05-05-2018 fate or finality
Sure, this area had been not the calmest, a bit rowdy, and more, but that didn't mean that Sekai didn't get time to herself. It had only been a couple days after she had joined, and she was already reading! The mud-colored lioness had been on the island, in an area surrounded by some trees, and she was laying on her stomach as she took in the information. The book had been nothing more than a mere history bool, about maritime history and ships. She hadn't remembered where she had gotten the book, but it was still a pleasant read. © madi

Lil was a fan of book herself, both in reading them and in keeping her own journals. One she didn't speak of often -- actually, at all, but those were specific details not quite worth noting in her mind -- but the other was almost always with her at camp, and even with her on occasion when she went searching for more herbs. It was a simple book detailing various plants and their uses, and even had some pressed flowers and vegetation in it's pages, making it rather pretty alongside being useful. Lil was out, carrying her herb journal securely in her mouth as she went to go find more herbs to study. It was while she did this that she stumbled upon Sekai. "Oh, hello there." The tabby said, placing her book down. There was some beech leaves she wanted to draw here, anyways. "Would you mind if I join you? I need to take some notes on herbs here, but I can always come back later if you'd prefer that." Re: THE WORLD OF IMAGINATION ;; o, reading - ARGUS - 05-06-2018 [align=center]
[W]iskerI GOT A BONE TO PICK [div style="background-color:#BG COLOR;width:90%; overflow: stretch;text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt;"] Books were great little things to pass the time, store information and even gloss over knowledge that you wanted to learn. Argus was obsessed with the hobby when she was a kid. Reading and writing- developing codes and ciphers- learning how to read different languages and slowly learning how to speak them. But Argus' time for books were long gone. She never read for pleasure anymore. The only time she ever had her nose in a book anymore was when she was looking back at old notes or trying to determine if one of her old books was safe to give away without hurting her- or giving away something that the watcher constantly wanted buried.
She didn't even keep journals anymore. Too paranoid with the notion of someone stumbling upon it- maybe not even reading what she wrote but recognizing the symbols as something from a sinister language or getting suspicious of how the officer wrote in code. The books Argus kept were well aged. Old tomes with knowledge she had when she was a kid- books filled with information she had first hand found. Herbs- tourture- mental psyche- She wasn't looking for a place to hide away and read at this particular moment. Too occupied with the notion- with the words that kept circling her head. Unable to do anything too strainious like train at the moment to exhaust herself. She needed to go back to an old outlet of hers- meditating. She was careful in selecting spots usually secluded from everyone else- but during her search she spotted the pair was more than a little interested in what they were reading or writing. Maybe she could meditate near them, if they were silent enough. "Do you mind if i join in too?" Dull red eyes watched the pair, mainly focusing on sekai to see a response. |
