Another day, another dollar. Or in his case, another week, another heist. He wanted to stop, to take a break, but that wouldn't be the case. Luckily, his wounds were bandaged, and he only had an ankle sprain. That would make his work a lot easier.

He hobbles towards the house, throwing the advanced notice at the doorstep. He gently puts weight on his back leg to appear as though he was walking normally, and he smirks, before ditching the scene, typical cat burglar stuff.

The note, as always, had his trademark cat with a monocle and tophat, smiling, and it read:
Dear Indie,
I know you have a, or the, Malachite Charm. It's a powerful tool, and it may indeed help me. As with a Phantom Thief's nature, I am to steal it one week from now.
You can't stop me.

  the caracal stepped up onto the wooden steps to her home delicately, looking down at the letter with confusion. she carefully brushes away the dirt and leaves that had gathered over it and frowned, looking back up. her charm? of all things her charm?! she angrily crumples the letter between her paws and goes inside, adding it to the kindling pile and making a beeline to her bedroom.

she opened the drawer containing her charms and sighed in relief, seeing it still there. i'll have to keep this more secure... she takes the charm from the drawer and tucks it between the mattress and bedspring, patting it down before leaving again.
