I said i would come back didn't I?| Joining - Sekitan - 01-04-2020 [div style="width: 51%; text-align: justify; font-size: 10pt; letter-spacing: -1px; font-family: georgia;"]it has been almost exactly 2,396,658 seconds since he had seen the dawn of day. In translation, it has been since almost by seconds a few years since he had seen what he could consider at the moment hazel-eyed, blonde-haired beloved, before the burning of their village, before he had to make his children flee with what little wealth he and his beloved had built for themselves. This was alone what haunted him for the rest of his life, how he had made to watch their village chief lose his life in the early winter morning, his blood seeping into the ground, and his eyes wide. Bandits, marauders, murders, and slavers, none of which had an honorable title amongst themselves. Of which he had found himself stuck in the worst situation, he was caught and dragged far north. Far into the cold lands, away from light. Far underground. With the dangers of the tunnel collapse, methane pockets, and mica pits in every single corner. How many more people he had seen perish from the hellish outcome. In the worst of the outcomes, he was made to outlast, and outlast he did, with burning lungs, broken fingers, and even broken spirit at times, but he was alive. Even if he swore the deepest amount of revenge towards those who held him captive, paying forward the freedom of those who couldn’t not even last moments longer in this dark, dangerous nightmarish hell. And then finally on day 1,303, he died. Cause of death? Overworking himself to death, his body just gave out on itself, and down he went without a single sound, but a mere thought. Get up, get up, get up dammit! Every single second spent counting his seconds from his next rebirth, his growing up and up to where he was back to where he started, counting his seconds back to where he should find himself back, from the polar cold north to the warm tropics. A climate that was not kind to long-furred snow adjusted canine, but alas he here was, awaiting, and counting his seconds very slowly. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, the more I count the closer I am to Vic. That is the only chance I can see him again, gods have mercy this is madness, mustn’t lose count. talk here @ Vinicius ! ( wait until Vinicius posts please) Re: I said i would come back didn't I?| Joining - teef - 01-05-2020

SAILOR'S SON
sea wolf x great dane hybrid, twelve years old. vinicius 'conqueror' marin 'sailor', prefers to go by vic. blonde in color with darker face, neck and paws. brown eyes with olive green flecks, slightly bigger than the average timberwolf. former werewolf, drowned at sea and stuck in current body. crewmate of typhoon -- biromantic pansexual. breath catching in his throat, water crashing over his head and salt invading his mouth. startling from his loss of thought, the sea wolf stared out at the coast from the tree he had climbed his way into, resting there when an oh-so familiar scent filled his nose with its fsint smokey allure. it couldn't be, oh by the gods, it couldn't be. he could still smell the fire burning his nose, hear the desperate clanging of the village's bell, the twang! of the archer's bows, feel the arrows splitting skin and muscle, taste the bitter and acrid smoky blood on his tongue. he could remember his own desperate screaming and roaring as he had shifted form and fought to leap to the far away shore. he could remember the scarlet fluids blossoming upon the fresh snows, could hear his crew screaming at him and dragging him down to the deck. he knew of the dead, as given the bird by his mate's brother's mother. his mate and children were on that list, all leftover bodies too charred and disfigured to get proper count. this scent flooding his nose, coming from the north, reminded him of all the horrible memories and the loss gaping in his chest but by the gods, it brought every single happy memory with it. all the moments they spent entangled in each other's arms, the first sail upon his galley, the laughter of their children, caught between their two fathers in the captain's quarters. it brought the memories of sunday's hands upon his shoulders at their wedding, it brought the memories of the feasts that the couple hosted for the village and shipcrews. it brought the memories of their journeys and adventures, years spent at sea, making an earning for their family. it brought the memories of his sweet smile, even if his dearest could not feel the happiness that vinicius could. leaping from his tree and lounge in a haphazard way, the sea wolf trusted his nose to lead him to this man, to this imposter, to his ... "SUNDAY, YOU SON OF A BITCH! WHERE THE HELLS HAVE YOU BEEN YOU BASTARD!?" he cried, the sailor stumbling over his own paws as he leapt at the longer furred canine in an attempt to bowl him over and affectionately nip at his ears, tears running down his face in a silvery pattern. pressing his snout into his beloved's fur, the former ship-captain sobbed and nuzzled sunday, covering his face in licks and tears. he couldn't believe it! it couldn't be him, shouldn't be him, but by the gods' lucky mercy it was him! "OH I SWEAR TO THE GODS!" he spat many oaths, old crude words that only the other would know, pressing himself into his fur, "I thought you were dead Sunday ... the fire ... the blood ... the damn bird! I tried to go back but we had no arms, no ammunition, absolutely nothing! Only damned textiles and salted foods for merchant sales! We were too far out to turn around and we couldn't even help! Oh Sunday, my dearest sweetest darling, you are here ... by the gods graces you are here. You must tell me everything you hear! Where are the children? Did they make it? Oh you owe me years worth of a tale. And twice that in affection!", he jabbered on, knowing his garbled words could not convey his emotions, but that his mate knew, that sunday knew how much of a grand mess he was and how delighted that they were finally reunited. "What could you expect, love. In due time, I will tell you what happened. I know you want all the answers in time, but it has been almost years since I have seen you last, let me enjoy this moment for now okay?" he rumbled within a response, with a chuff, and his tail slowly wagged back and forth in his delight. There was nothing more to make him happier, well as happy as one who couldn't feel said happiness for the life of him but was still grinning all the same. " I have missed you vic. I told you would I would come back, didn't I? I always come back." Sun said with a soft murmur, wanting more than nothing but to hold, again has much as an animal could do with limbs and paws, without the function of hands. Oh to be human again. "its been so long ..." he murmured breathlessly, aware of the stinging tears dripping from his eyes, his jaws spread for gasping breaths as he sobbed into his pelt. putting his paw about his, he whined happily, sniffing softly, "perideus saved me, my love. will you share my den?" at the moment, his current abode was a cozy lean to close to the beach, close to the object of his great longing. pulling back to lick the other's nose with his ears fully pricked, he grinned back at him to the point it nearly hurt, "tonight, i will make you a great meal for the hearty traveler!" he declared. "I have no control of what happens if I don't come back, after all, someone who has basically no soul, I have no idea what will become of me. Son of chaos, and love." he murmured gently and took a deep breath. "Anyone else here that we know? Anyone else moves into this unknown terrain, also where the hell am I?" Sun asked peering over Vic's shoulder to see where he was. He did not like the warm, and he was more comfortable in the cold, almost missing his old cabin in the middle of nowhere, but that came again at a price since interactions with others were something that was required, perhaps he could find his cabin again here in this tropic sweatbox. "within this territory? just rene so far but i heard rumor of ramona coming here when speaking with my cousin. this territory is called the typhoon, dear." he murmured softly. "your brothers have passed away, it pains me to say. jerisidie suffered at augustin's hands in his last minutes, i've heard from lynn in visiting his grave. i have also heard tell of kade and finnloch elsewhere 'nearby' to us, my love." |
