It had been a long time. When you live for so long, you start to lose track of time, as if it inched by at a snail's pace. To anyone else, it would have felt like such a long time, but to him, it had felt like only a few months. But even if it felt like such a short time to him, it was difficult, a period of loneliness and uncertainty. The land outside of the tribes was a harsh place.
He had left the Typhoon for a change, to escape the routine of everything. The days had started to blend all together, with him doing the same thing while the same things happened around him. It was boring. He was bored. He liked to have variety, to cause chaos. It was in his nature, after all, it ran in his blood. He was the embodiment of his creator's sins and there was nothing he could do to escape that. He was still selfish, still wanted whatever riches he could get his paws on. It didn't serve him much use, not in this world full of talking animals, but he was just that way. He was greed, after all. But the panther ached. He didn't like how attached he had become to the Typhoon and all it's members. It would just cause him trouble, get in the way of his ambitions. Still, he missed it, being on the ship and listening to the waves ride up on the beach and then recede, the smell of salt heavy in the air. Hell, he even missed those annoying ass seagulls that liked to steal his food and be loud as hell as they circled around in the air. So Greed found himself back here again, after wandering around and getting lost multiple times. It was thanks to a kind stranger he even figured out where they were. He was tired from the long trek there, longing to board the large boat they called home and rest his tired legs, but until someone showed up and allowed him in, he would ring the bells to let them know he was here. Then he would wait, eyes shielded by a new pair of shades, these with white rims rather than black. Kept the sun out of his eyes, and kept some semblance of secrecy. Re: [ HOMESICK ♛ RETURN/JOINING ] - Keona. - 01-04-2020 [align=center]— if I fall, get knocked down, pick myself up off the ground — Bells. A perfectly familiar sound with a meaning clear as the ringing. A sound that brought tiny paws to a simple halt and re-directed the tiny feline they carried. Her ears perked curiously as her nose helped study the scent the closer she came. Something familiar.Pale hues darted... Upwards, as she sought out the sound of breath. "Aloha," her soft voice offered, tinged by an inquisitive thoughtfulness. Do I know you? "Can I help you?" Re: [ HOMESICK ♛ RETURN/JOINING ] - ROXANNE R. - 01-05-2020 There was old and new faces in the Typhoon, she wasn't sure if it was comforting to know that there was newer people or discomforting knowing that some of the old faces weren't there or even remembered her. She had changed over the months she had by herself, she had stuck by Kalayavan for the most part thinking over and over again through those months. She knew that she wanted a change of pace yet she didn't know how to exactly achieve said change, she felt like there was people holding her back from doing it or rather she was holding herself back. She supposed it was her own fault for trying to wait on someone who probably wasn't coming back but, call her stupid, she would wait with such a determination. She was dumb enough to hope for so long yet she didn't press on the matter, all she knew is, that she missed a few people rather dearly. Some of them, she had believed to be somebody for her yet there was always something in the way like an invisible wall keeping them apart. The thought itself was depressing and it made her snort at how ridiculous her mind had been way back then. She breathed through her slightly parted maw catching a familiar scent and the ringing of a bell, she could feel her body tense up briefly. She didn't know what to expect yet she wasn't going to be all that hopeful either. She was sitting on top of her crocodilian companion holding a worn out collar in their paws "Well, let's go." She patted Kal gently on the side as he swam for the shore.
Eventually, the large crocodile ambled over standing behind Keona with his eyes fixated onto the panther. Kalayavan had certainly gotten bigger since the last time he had seen Greed, it made the crocodile hiss rather smugly. He kept his head as high as he could feeling the paws of his mother sweep on his head gently, Roxanne looking down at Greed with a tired smile "Son of a bitch, if it ain't Greed. . . Nice to see ya back 'round these parts, champ." She said with a snort resting her cheek on one of her pawpads, ir had been quite some time. "character's speech." |
