A bed in the corner, covered in pillows and blankets, painting supplies scattered everywhere, a painting he had made of all his friends on the easel when it wasn't being used to make a new painting. Playing cards were usually found in little piles around the room, old electronics that didn't work anymore that needed to be charged scattered all over the bed from when he had been able to play them. Now? His rooms had been dark and drabby, unable to keep too many of his things with him at a time, until eventually there had been nothing left. He had tried to save as many things as he could, but over the years they had been lost or stolen, or even damaged to no repair either by himself on accident when his emotions had gotten the best of him, or by his father, who had seen it fit to take the things Roman loved and destroy them, since Pluto couldn't actually kill Roman. The thought of having a place here that he could once more fill with things, filled Roman's heart with Joy, a feeling he hadn't felt in a long time. The small feline made his way into the old apartment building that they called the fortress, ears pricked as he listened to the sounds around him, a smile forming on his maw. This reminded him of his old home in the castle he used to live in. The sounds of old structure surrounding him, although were not the exact same that he remembered from back then, they were similar, and it made him forget about the bad things that had happened to him in the past year, and so he journeyed on, going up to the second floor of the apartment buildings, then the third, until the three-legged feline finally made it up to the fourth. It wasn't as high up as he could go, but it would be considered high for someone with a limb missing, but he managed to make it. Making his way down the hallway to the end, Roman would carefully open the last door to the left, and walked inside, the tip of his tail making out a little spark of fire in joy. The room wasn't his perfect dream, but it was something he was happy with. There was a bed, and there was carpet. Old and dusty carpet, but carpet. And it made him happy. Flopping down, the male decided that later, he would look through the old storage closets he would surely be able to find in an apartment complex, or even some of the vacant rooms, in the hopes of being able to find some art supplies to drag here. Re: JUST LIKE BALLOONS;; open - moving in - fulzanin - 11-05-2019 Aslisk was not above just charging into people's rooms. Back home, she either had an agreement with them or they just didn't care about when she showed up, hissing and spitting with ferocity surging off every spike of her pointed form. Her anger usually was always verbal. She never cared for smashing things or causing destruction less it be on another organic being. She had kids, yes. She would never think to destroy their belongings - if anything, the wyvern encouraged their hoarding habits. Not that she knew of Roman's history, or anything about him, really. Originally her assumption was that he was another random person that was going to be living here. She wasn't much better, it was not as if she did anything to heavily contribute to the Halls' refounding or re-establishment.
"Oh, you're staying in this room, now?" The wyvern inquired as she teleported right inside. Near the doorway, yes, but still definitely inside. Her respect for personal area was absolutely minimal. That was different from personal space, which Aslisk assured herself that she knew well and thoroughly. She supposed that she hadn't known that this room was occupied before teleporting in, still under the impression that it was an abandoned and empty room. One of her ears flicked while a hearty sniff sounded, head turning. Damn. This was awkward, wasn't it. Her tongue clicked against her sharp teeth. "Since you're on the floor, and I'm assuming you already were missing a leg prior to collapsing, I'm gonna say that you.. don't need anything." The wyvern muttered. There was the slightest bit of apology for her suddenly appearing, by offering her aid. It was not direct nor did it stand out, and Aslisk uncomfortably shifted on her feet. ive always had to get my hands dirty, a patrol to make sure no one hurts me TAGS 10/3/19: Re: JUST LIKE BALLOONS;; open - moving in - redvox. - 11-06-2019 Re: JUST LIKE BALLOONS;; open - moving in - trojan g. - 11-07-2019 [align=center][div style="bgcolor= black; width: 500px; font-family: georgia;font-size:12px;text-align:justify"]If he was to be one hundred percent honest, Roman liked his privacy. Always has, always will, so when he had decided on his room and had come into it only to suddenly be interrupted by this animal that just suddenly appeared there, he couldn't help the slight annoyance that crossed his face as he looked over to the Wyvern, ears quickly pinning to his head as she spoke. No, he didn't need help, and yes, he was taking this room. "Yes, I believe this is my room now, unless you already claimed it and I didn't know?" Roman spoke, head tilting to the side slightly as he let the question leave his lips, before shaking his head, "And no help needed, just comfortable and tired." Eyes would shift over to Vox as he appeared through the doorway next, though this time he had simply walked through, not teleported in - something Roman could handle better, and would prefer others did when it came to his room. "Thank you, Vox." Ro would speak after the leader had finished his talking. Although the room hadn't very many plants compared to some of the others, due to the carpetting and bedding already there, it was rather musty, and it was very, very dusty. Some things he could fix, though others he'd be afraid to, scared of the water it would need and the potential mess it could cause and make worse. Re: JUST LIKE BALLOONS;; open - moving in - redvox. - 11-08-2019 REDVOX "VINNY" ABRAMO - cis male - goat-bat hybrid - harbinger When Vox saw the annoyance that flashed across Roman's face at Aslisk's appearance, he almost snorted, very much understanding why the other would be annoyed. He really needed to talk to Aslisk about privacy and things like not stealing from other people, and he was pretty sure if he ever woke up one day and Aslisk suddenly teleported into his room for no reason, he'd be pretty pissed off as well. Roman did, to his credit, handle the situation pretty well, just brushing off the anger and asking Aslisk a bit of a sharp question – but not in such a pissed off tone it was obvious. Deciding to give Ro some time with his new room without having to worry about anybody else being in it, Vox mumbled softly as his gaze moved over to Aslisk, silently willing her to head out of the room, "No problem, Ro. I hope that y'can get all nice and comfortable quickly. If ya don't mind, I think I'll give y'a bit of time ta just get settled in and everything. If y'need anything from me at any point... well, just come and get me, alright?" He nodded a little bit at Roman pushing himself back up to his wings and hooves and turning to leave. He didn't have much reason to stick around, since Roman obviously wanted to relax, and it wasn't like he was impossible to find if he was needed.... he could only hope that Aslisk would take the hint and head out as well. Re: JUST LIKE BALLOONS;; open - moving in - fulzanin - 11-08-2019 The wyvern's stance grew rigid after a few seconds. Her tongue flickered momentarily, staring in a way that almost could be considered unblinking. She did when she huffed, moving her weight and shuffling on her talons. "How was I supposed to know someone had suddenly moved in here." Aslisk hissed quietly. It more so seemed to be an aggressive sentence to herself. Yes, yes, to her the wyvern's soft words were entirely justified. She wasn't omnipotent! There wasn't any sign! Not that Aslisk would have seen it, considering that she had teleported into the room rather than walk inside as someone more normal would. Her gaze shifted when she noticed Redvox staring at her, if for just a moment. She clenched her teeth together. The wyvern's lanky tail curled closer to herself. A deep breath was taken in through her clenched teeth, sounding like a faint hiss. For the love of Nitis, is there anyone here who isn't absolutely annoying?! Her mind briefly flashed the thought to her, and was equally as swiftly tossed to the side. Aslisk thankfully did seem to get the hint, her body tensing,"Well. I hope you moving in goes swell." She really did try to make her tone less aggressive. It still came out that way, but it almost, almost could count as only slightly angry than her usual full blown rage filled voice. Even somewhat sarcastic - Aslisk supposed that it couldn't be helped. Wasn't her fault that she didn't know someone had moved in! She followed after Redvox a few paces, before another teleport swiftly took her away once more.
