Nothing. Nothing. Nothing! He had no leads on this gem- whatever on earth it was, Pandora or something - no leads on the people who so callously killed his father.

That's why he left. He remembered running from some village, a town, his home - where the Phantom Thief was known, and into this world where no one gave a damn about him, about what he went through.

Perhaps this was the fresh start Kuroba needed. He stuffed his Phantom Thief KID gear into a bag, carrying it with him to the border. Blue eyes seem a bit saddened, almost regretful. Perhaps this would lead him to those he was searching for. A black tail sweeps behind him and he sits down. "Name's Kaito. Can I join?" He asks, tilting his head.

It wasn't very often that someone just arrived at the border with such a sad look in their eyes, and such a simple request. In fact, most joiners just kind of sat there, waiting for someone to arrived before they actually asked their question or stated their purpose to join. It was sort of refreshing to Hushsound, padding over and hearing someone just state their name and simply ask to join. Still, the golden feline felt a bit of worry for this newcomer already, wondering why his gaze looked so sad and tired. The two of them, unbeknownst to Hush, sort of had something in common. It wasn't the exact same, considering Hushsound hadn't intentionally left the world where people knew him to go to one where nobody had a clue about his old life, but it was definitely a similarity that was there. One the Phantom Thief, and one the Hero of the Wild, both somewhere where no one knew of their exploits – well, at least most people didn't. There were a couple of people Hush had talked to about his existence as Link. Still, the sadness that radiated off of Kaito in waves almost made Hush want to hug him, even with all of his own social awkwardness. Of course, that was only an almost, so instead Hush just moved over, offering Kaito a crooked smile before moving to write on the ground, "HELLO THERE. MY NAME IS HUSHSOUND. WELCOME TO THE TYPHOON, WE'RE HAPPY TO HAVE YOU JOIN US." Silently, the selectively mute feline desperately hoped that Kaito could read his words, or else they would have yet another member in the group that couldn't understand him unless he spoke out loud – unless Kaito incidentally knew sign language.
