now the doors 're wide open // open, joining - galexiux - 10-03-2019

The little bird was a traveler. The never were great at staying in exactly one place at a time. Their father had always told them it was best to use their skills to better the lives of those around them. They ultimately wanted to help as many people as possible. It was normally hard to do that with so little people spread out over this huge jungle. Though, word spread far and wide. They heard word of a place where a whole lot of critters lived in one place. All at once! That sounded like a dream come true! The locals warned Charlie about the band. Heathens, they were warned. Unpredictable, vicious, blood thirsty. They couldn't be that bad, Charlie thought with a smile, gliding across the sun-scortched desert., They're probably just grumpy.

The small crowtit landed right at the treeline of the jungle, hopping from foot to foot on the hot, hot sand. They whined and winced, finally breaking down, taking to the air to perch on a fallen stump just over the forest line. Charlie whined, blowing air onto one of their talons before taking clutch of the stump. They fluffed them self up, shaking their head. No time to dawdle. Work had to be done. Charlie sighed, reaching behind them to unzip a tiny leather backpack strapped to their torso. They pulled out a large square of parchment with a large array of chicken scratch marks on it. They reached down, scratching a circle onto the page. Looks like all those cartography lessons paid off.

Well, they thought, wrapping the map back up and storing it away, Now they just wait for someone to say hi, correct? That's what they were told to do by the legends and locals. The crow tit sighed. They hated waiting. They wanted to work. More than likely, no one would even realize they were sentient. Charlie decided to rest, but stay alert.

Re: now the doors 're wide open // open, joining - ARGUS - 10-03-2019

Argus never had a taste for waunderlust, Sonder made politics difficult, but they were resolute to a spot when they found it. THey built their home based on the animals found in the area, they stumbled into the pitt injured, hurt; the place had healed the once wolf and now a dragon stood sentinel by the border. Protecting the place; a debt to repay, a new place to stay. They were still the same animal, even in this form, they remained loyal to a home, they didn't wounder, didn't stray like others would. It was not in their needs, with the only place they would wish to visit disliking them for merely the mantle their home gave. A Slaver; the world called the group, a monster - Argus has been called worse. Behind a white tipped mask a yellowed fangs peeled back a half-hearted smirk. Lidded eyes watching the border as a spot of activity gained their attention.

With ten eyes it was hard to avoid detection, but it wouldn't be the first time; the form was new, cold blooded made warming up in the sun all the more enjoyable, along the border argus liked to remain. The visitors just made the sun bathing interesting, a spark of life in their otherwise vacant day as of yet.

A white little bird, so small it was only the size of a claw.

It was an odd little thing, but so where they; the pitt was a accumulative point of such, creatures bound together to fight, survive, thrive, to rule the world under it's paw if you believe what other clans have to say. Argus knew better ; danged people lashing out, innocent being lead by the resolute, the power hungry grasping at straws. The animals of their home were easy to read, once you have seen it all before. Argus has seen these things many, many times before. But a small white bird, with a bag across their torso, it was cute- it proved to mean the other had some sort of message if not sentient itself.

"[glow=#cc3232,2,300]what's a small thing like you traversing through the desert for? There is little water to be found here, scant any freely given. [/glow]"

huh. They weren’t too bad. Seemed almost friendly. Was the rumors only about their appearance? Charlie has to admit, the two larger creatures definitely were a lot more spooky than they expected, but it was rude to judge someone by their cover.

The crowtit perked up at works being spoken. They must have dozed off a little bit more than they expected. They chirped, loosing balance for a few heartbeats before regaining themself. I’m here to work, sir! Charlie might be considered a workaholic. Maybe they were. But they enjoyed their craft more than anything. im a trained metal and leather worker. I’m no fighter, but I’m looking for somewhere with lots of work to stay.

FOURTHWALL & GLITCHHOP
BLACK-GOLD MOTTLED HELLHOUND / BROWN-GOLD MOTTLED HELLHOUND
MALE - 22 - SOCIAL & VIOLENT / FEMALE - 17 - OBEDIENT & CHEERFUL - THE PITT

THEY SAY THAT I AM THE SICK BOY
EASY TO SAY WHEN YOU DON'T TAKE THE RISK, BOY

Fourthwall on patrol? Not uncommon. A random group of Pittians gathered out there? A bit more so. Curiosity awoken, the massive hybrid would pad over with swift strides, wine-red gaze quickly singling out the creature that had their attention. It was a small white and black bird, reminding him of a finch or sparrow in terms of general size and looks, but since Fourth was hardly a bird expert it was safe to say his lazy guess wasn't exactly right. But he had arrived in time to hear the flyers words, which was all that really mattered.

To say he had his doubts would be a home run, but it wasn't beyond belief. The real question was, what was the other capable of in terms of workmanship? What could they offer that would be of true use. "What kind of things can you make?" the Marauder would ask, tone cool and inquisitive as he came to a halt beside Redfox, trying not to let their mention of Jervis irk a reaction from him. The truth was that the King hadn't been around much, but he didn't really need to be. Fourthwall was his eyes and ears, his sword and shield. There was nothing in the territory he couldn't take care of for the snarky little fox, an arrogant but none the less true sentiment. Fourthwall was extremely capable and there was very little he wasn't willing to face.

WELCOME TO THE NARCISISM,
WE'RE UNITED UNDER OUR INDIFFERENCE

the bird chirped, taking a small hop back as they were surrounded by large predators. Were they afraid? Not exactly, though they felt they had to take a small amount of caution. You could never be too careful. Charlie nodded. “Yes sir, My name is Charlie.” They cooed, Boeing slightly to the larger animals. “I’ve made armor and satchels since I was little. I’m not greatly skilled at larger models yet, but I want to learn and help, if possible.” The bird hummed, their eyes scanning the area around them. They... had  no examples.

They reached to their back, pulling their tiny nap sack from their back. They opened their wings, gliding down to place it in the rough mixture of foliage and sand. It was a bit rough, loved and worn down. The leather was tender, small tears sewn back together with grass and spiders silk. “This was my first project as a fledgeling.” They explained, trying to prove their worth.

[OOC: mobile sorry for Grammar errors]

Kydobi arrived a little late, but he hadn't revealed himself until the little bird had shown and spoken of their capabilites. Even so Kydobi saw great advantage in having someone so small. Someone undetectable and easily overlooked.

He would step out of the shadows, stepping forward, dipping his head them all.

"He would be of great use to us. Especially if he can grow his forging skills into armor. We need all the defense we can get. Besides, his small stature will easily go unnoticed among the others birds in the jungle. He could also be very useful in spying or discreet message relaying."

He took a step forward, gently sniffing the prototype in the sand.

"He may not be the most formidable but his work could help save lives and limbs.

The dark prince looked at the bird, smiling softly and dipping his head, "Hello Charlie, I am Kydobi.", he turned his head and dipped it to the rest. Eyes softly lingered on Argus in recognition.
