maybe you'll see -- Elysium visitors - Warringkingdoms - 09-18-2019 [font=trebuchet ms]The attack on the Pitt had been delayed for long enough already. Various distractions had come up, from her own injuries, to poor attendance at discussions, to whatever happened to be going on in the Typhoon right now- but if they were going to finish off the Pitt, waiting any longer would be foolish. Stark needed help, and the Pitt was growing cocky. No official announcement had been made within Elysium's borders, but when Rin had brought up the subject, everyone seemed to agree for the most part: the Pitt needed to pay. There was no reason not to go ahead and pass this along to the Typhoon, so that they could be on the same page regarding when to attack. Elysium would be ready when everyone else was. As she set foot on the sand, Rin tried to push the memories of her previous arrival here to the back of her mind. There was no time to get caught up in what the Maiden had done to her. Looking over her shoulder to confirm that Tena had followed her, she nodded, half to herself. Rin couldn't dissuade the Magna from coming even if she'd wanted to, and she hadn't, really. Turning her head back towards the island, Rin called out, "Typhoon? Sorry for the late notice, but count Elysium in on the raid. We're ready when you are." /ishpost, but we're making it happen, bois Re: maybe you'll see -- Elysium visitors - bubblegum - 09-19-2019 Re: maybe you'll see -- Elysium visitors - Tena M. - 09-19-2019 Tena Moonspinner — The petite sand cat possessed a restless, maybe sometimes reckless spirit. Her paws kneaded into the ground as she stood at a halt besides Rin, vibrant blue hues watching the island. She had refrained from public announcement for the time due to the desire to do right by Elysium, regardless of her personal drive to wipe out the Pitt. A community ought to decide together and from their forum it seemed most agreed. Which meant she possessed no qualms with making the final decision. Lightly, her head tilted as the tigress herself appeared. No doubt eager. Tena nodded, the tip of her tail flicking to and fro. "Name a time and place, and I’ll be there." Strategy, she realized despite impatience, would be essential, especially with a coordinated attack. Personally, she felt the second the Typhoon, Tanglewood and Elysium decided to fight the Pitt already lost. An intelligent commander only makes as many enemies as he can handle. Take-over... The Demdji’s ear twitched, brow creasing. Since she knew the Typhoon attempted to maintain an earlier deal with the Pitt, she supposed that made sense. Well. The Magna decided she hardly minded the thought, especially since Goldie intended to take down the slave trade. "That’s sound. And I don’t mind offering aid in that mission if you need it." For ending slavery is mine too. No more chains. "miss rin!" they greeted her, nodding to tena afterward. "its wonderful to see you again. i must have missed your farewells before, but it's a relief to see you bounce back so quickly. you have a real headstrong soldier here, miss tena." they chuckled, recalling their first introduction to the warrior. perhaps they may have been... slightly overwhelming at first. "sorry to meet on such dark terms. i do hope these talks between our leaders go well. have you met crow? he is quite the gentleman. he has kept the tanglewood in tip-top shape since before i arrived." they were rambling now, but they were purely just excited to see whom he considered a friend of his after so long. Re: maybe you'll see -- Elysium visitors - Warringkingdoms - 09-24-2019 [font=trebuchet ms]Seeing Goldenluxury in good health again, after having found her half-dead on the beach several weeks ago, was even more of a relief than Rin had expected. Sure, the captain of the Typhoon had taken her in after her most recent brush with death, but they were still acquaintances at most. Maybe it was just because they were temporarily on the same side. When Goldenluxury announced that she would be taking over the Pitt, Rin quirked a brow. It would probably be feasible for her to do so, given that the Pitt didn't have many members to its name anyhow, but from Rin's experience, ne'er-do-wells of that sort were slow to change their ways. How long did Goldenluxury intend on staying there before leaving them to themselves? Nonetheless, Rin nodded. "I'm also willing to help with that, if need be," she offered, with a twitch of her ears. It might get in the way of her crusade against the fallen gods, but then, the Pitt themselves had gotten in the way too many times already. At Idyllfields' approach, she turned to face them, and dipped her head in acknowledgement. "It is good to see you again. I was in a hurry, I didn't really give much of a goodbye," she said, tugging at her scarf with one paw. At their comment that she was "headstrong," she cracked a half-smile and remarked, "Some might say 'bullheaded.'" It was true; she didn't know when to stay down, a simultaneous blessing and curse. Crow was a name she'd heard before, but she hadn't met him- she had had no previous cause to go by Tanglewood. It might be pertinent for the purposes of their combined raid to touch base, but that was for later. "I have not," Rin answered, "but I will grant him that- other than the 'Anti' incident, Elysium has had no issues with Tanglewood." The question of 'Anti' hadn't really been solved, but given that it hadn't occurred again, chances were that the murderer had been dealt with somehow. |
