JUST LET US ADORE YOU && Group Therapy - trojan g. - 09-05-2019

[align=center][div style="bgcolor= black; width: 500px; font-family: georgia;font-size:12px;text-align:justify"]Moth in no way claimed to know what she was doing, or claimed to know too much about herbs. Despite her being in the rank of Medic, she was still learning herbs. What she did know was that there was tension in the group, whether it be from others leaving or due to things that had happened with the Pitt, Moth didn't know why, but she knew that the tension was killing her, and it was harming others too. "Come over here if you want to listen or talk in a group therapy session!" Moth would call out from where she had stacked pillows and gathered snacks, ready to listen and talk to those that needed it. She wouldn't focus on her own issues, however, they weren't important right now.

Re: JUST LET US ADORE YOU && Group Therapy - wormwood. - 09-05-2019

Worm had been put laying comfortably on his deck when Moth's call reached his ears, and the hellhound blinked before lifting his head, vaguely confused at first. A therapy session. He had heard of them before, but talking about your feelings hadn't exactly been a big thing back in the pride, so it felt very odd to just be presented so plainly by Moth. Slowly getting up to his fluffy paws, the male moved down the deck and over to Moth's, his eyes catching on the pillows and fathered snacks, his heart sinking down somewhat in his chest as he thought back to the cuddle party that Moth had thrown what seemed like so, so long ago, when Poetking had still been around, and hadn't abandoned him and the medic. The chaser took a deep breath in through his nose and shook his head, his ears pinning back against his neck, before he moved over to where the female was sitting. He moved up to her with a small and vaguely broken smile, the male struggling to seem like he was doing fine with everything that had been going on. He leaned down to gently touch his nose to Moth's ear before moving to sit down with her. Despite what she may have thought, he knew that she had plenty to vent about as well, and she deserved support as well. Clearing his throat, the male barked softly at her as he smiled softly, "I'll participate, Moth... I've had a few things on my mind lately, unsurprisingly."

I r e n i c . (adj.)
Torren fails recalling attending any sort of therapy, let alone group therapy.  The base concept made his chest feel lighter, feeling intently the appreciation of such a kind-meaning activity.  True relationships, the best relationships, came from connecting and supporting at all times, good and bad.  The prince believed this strongly and immediately perked up at the call, eyes bright.

"I'm more than willing to offer a listening ear for everyone," the wildcat offered, bowing his head to both Moth and Wormwood.  For he recognized the unfortunate tensions in the air, yet bore few deep stresses himself, at least he found little he might actually feel inclined to talk about, for they seemed more trivial than some of the matters he'd heard of lately.  Regardless, he felt better, more at peace, when he knew he helped someone else.  If everyone needed someone to listen, he hardly minded being one of those someones who could and would.

Re: JUST LET US ADORE YOU && Group Therapy - RED - 09-07-2019

[align=center][div style="text-align:justify;width:55%;font-family:verdana;"]He feels stupid, here, and pitifully small. Weak is the word he’s looking for but carefully avoiding. If he could do anything to make this tolerable, he could derail the conversation before it got too serious, and avoid bringing up anything he didn’t want to talk about. Or hear, for that matter. The floorboards give a sad little creak as he lowers himself down onto his haunches, idly grabbing at Wormwood’s shoulder for support as he sat beside him. Everything still ached, and moving around was a challenge. Selby had warned him to stay in bed, but much like Beck, it was pretty hard to keep him in one place for long. Red pulls the lapels of his coat closer - looking to Wormwood, briefly, in silent thanks - and pulled a bag of snacks towards himself. He didn’t really care what it was, as long as he had something to distract himself.

(Quietly, he wishes for something a little stronger than snacks and small talk. He doesn’t mind Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, they just aren’t at the forefront of his mind right now.)

(The stale pack of Pall Malls in his pocket, however, is.)

”Uh.” He’s not the best at this sort of thing. Red turns his attention towards Moth, a mild encouragement to lead the conversation. ”I can try to help, I guess.” Carefully steering the conversation as far from himself as possible seemed to be the way to go. Between the Pitt playing pinata with his unconscious body and half of his clanmates dead or dying, he isn’t sure what he had to offer, besides letting everyone know that Shit Sure Sucked. But he’d try. Just like he’d done before, he’d give what he could if only for the sake of those he stuck around for.

[div style="width: 480px; height: auto; text-align: justify; font-family: verdana; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 13px;"]Group therapy? Seriously? Crowley finds himself mildly alarmed by the fact that, in such a small group, everyone was fucked up enough that they needed it as a group activity. Crowley can't even imagine being willing to be vulnerable, much less in front of so many people.
It should, however, be noted that Crowley can be a nosy bastard when he wants to be. He needs information. What the fuck is going on here, first and foremost. He hates being the one out of the loop. It's just fortunate, the serval has no intentions of disrupting anything -- Crowley wasn't that much of an asshole, even if he had no intentions of participating.
With a gentle mumble of something unheard, Crowley slides into a free space. He feels somewhat out of place, being relatively new, but that's never bothered him before. So, the serval hunches over, wonders what the hell he's doing here, and settles in to listen.

[align=center][div style="bgcolor= black; width: 500px; font-family: georgia;font-size:12px;text-align:justify"]Watching as those who did came forward to either listen or speak, Moth would watch and listen as they began to speak, curious as they did so for what their reaction to it would be. Worm seemed to recognize he had things to talk about - some of them likely the same as Moth if she was being completely honest - and Torren and Red seemed to simply want to listen, which was fine. "Listening or talking, it's all ok." She would speak, offering those there a smile of encouragement. "And as far as this goes, if anything wants to be talked about, it can be. Doesn't matter if it happened years ago or yesterday, I'm just doing this so others can get things off of their chest." And she hoped that everyone who had something on their chest that they wished to share got to share and that it helped.

"Of course, try to refrain from starting arguments over things, though, if the teller wants, input can be added to things to try and help the situation." She would offer, looking to the four who had shown up already, and hoping that whoever might come next be able to hear her words, or pick up on what was going on. "Now... who wants to start?" She would ask, looking towards the four.

[[ I got ninja'd by Crowley's post lmao ]]

Re: JUST LET US ADORE YOU && Group Therapy - wormwood. - 09-07-2019

Wormwood opened his mouth before closing it and seeming to hesitate, his gaze focused on the ground beneath him for a long moment, unsure if he really wanted to be the one to start. His gaze moved over to glance at Red, smiling slightly when he saw the male with the jacket he had got him. The small hellhound had let out a soft grunt as the gorilla had lowered himself down, feeling the steady weight of the other's hand on his shoulder, but he didn't protest, just letting Red settle beside him and pull in a bag of snacks to chomp on. He was extremely glad the other was back again, even though he was injured to the point where he was generating just as much worry as Beck and Sam were at this point. He gently bumped his head against the other male's shoulder before taking a deep breath and barking softly to the small gathered group, doubting that they would be the only ones that showed up – after all, so much of the group had trauma right beneath the surface these days, "Uh... I guess that I can go first, since I got here first. Might kinda be a bit lengthy though, heh... lots of fucked up stuff had happened."

The male sighed and carefully scrubbed at his face for a moment, being careful not to cut himself with his large new bone claws that he couldn't pull in. He then began to speak, wincing at the sound of his own scratchy voice as he started to vent, "I guess I've just been... having a bit of a rough time lately. I've been anxious for a long time, that is since Beck and Sam being taken away, but things have gotten so much worse lately. With everyone being injured, and people being killed... it makes me so angry. That isn't even mentioning... Poetking leaving me. He left me after he killed Judith, and he didn't even do as little as offering me an explanation for why. It makes me furious at him. It makes me feel like he isn't even my brother anymore. Not to mention that when I tried to go and find him, all I could find was his scent trail leading off towards the Pitt. The fucking Pitt! The place that has done nothing but hurt everybody I care about! And he left me... he left you..." His golden eyes glanced over at Moth, betraying his sadness and his anger beneath the surface that he was trying to keep controlled. He took another steadying breath before he continued on, putting his head down and closing his eyes as he let out a soft whimper of pain, "I can never trust him again, and it feels... it feels like I failed him somehow, and that's why he's gone... and I'm not sure if I can even trust anybody again after that. I always knew I couldn't trust my parents from the beginning, but... if I can't even trust the one family member I actually loved, who can I trust?"

He stared off into space for a moment, his eyes burning with unwashed tears, before he seemed to snap out of it, quickly sitting up. He laughed weakly, scrubbing at his face again and barking apologetically, "Shit... you probably didn't mean for this to get so depressing so fast. I'm sorry, Moth. I had just been keeping that inside for a while, I guess..." He found himself leaning slightly on Red, but quickly corrected himself, shaking his head as he sniffled. After all, he didn't want to exacerbate the other's wounds.
