Musicbox, upon his awakening, didn't know which way was up, which way was down, and where the hell he was, or what he was. His memories were scrambled and scattered, the last thing that he could really remember being plummeting into the river outside of his home clan, being whisked away and screaming for the family and the home that was now gone. Back then, he had just been a rather handsome and sweet blue tabby, with dazzling blue eyes and a warm smile. And now, from what he could tell, he was still a blue tabby, but... warped. His dazzling and beautiful blue eyes had been ripped from his skull, leaving nothing more than two empty sockets in their wake, which were now covered by a black blindfold with a three eyed design on it. Instead of his glimmering eyes being in his head, his gaze now seemed to have mutated all over his body. There were shiny blue eyes all over, dispersed in random patterns around his neck, chest, and legs, and everywhere else that you could think of. When he had first managed to pull himself over to a lone puddle of water and focus through one of the clumps of eyes, he had been horrified to see his appearance, and he had sobbed from his many eyes for hours, until eventually his body groaned with hunger and exhaustion, and he was forced to stop lamenting. Unaware of where he was, or how he had ended up there, he just started in a random direction across the desert he had woke up in, his mouth open for the scents of anything that he could attempt to try and hunt in this state. He would've tried looking around for something in particular, but it took a lot of focus for him to look through only one section of the eyes, and when he tried to look through all of them at once, he immediately became overwhelmed and felt like he was going to vomit, so he was forced to move forward through scent alone, searching around desperately for some kind of food or civilization that would prove to be his salvation. What he eventually ended up finding wasn't his salvation, nor anybody else's salvation, if the stories of this place were to be believed. The strange and decaying scent of the Pitt hit him before any sort of scent of food did, as he came up to the edge of where the jungle met the desert he had practically been dragging himself through. Blinking a few of his eyes, the blue furred male tilted his head from side to side in a sort of mock looking around, even though it didn't actually do anything with no eyes where they were supposed to be. He opened his mouth again and flattened his ears to his head as the scent of The Pitt came flooding in once again, but it also made a faint sense of hope flare up in his chest. A scent line meant that there were people here, and perhaps they could feed him, or tell him where he was and how he had ended up here from his childhood home, or why he looked like this now. Letting out a pained and sorrowful coo, the feline mowed as his tail lashed from side to side in worry, [glow=#A76566,1,400]"Please. Please, hello, is anybody out there? I need food, and help. I don't know where I am, or what this place is..."[/glow]" He couldn't help the desperation that seeped through his voice, unaware of the ruthless group that occupied the jungle that had no interest in helping most people. The pleading of a stranger rang in his ears. It's agony was coming from afar, somewhere in the desert nearby. Jervis, concerned that this was an injured invader left behind or a hurt warrior of theirs, found himself wandering over towards the noise in no time. What met his eye was interesting. A blue feline connected with his gaze, causing the fox's ears to perk a bit. Rather intrigued, he continued on his way over and paused by their side. DISOWNED [glow=#2b0505,2,300]tags - penned by orion[/glow] DISGRACEGlaring down at them, he offered a disgruntled huff.. There was no sympathy whatsoever, but as he was in power, Jervis (regrettably) knew that he did have to deal with this peasant before his feet. "You're within The Pitt," he muttered lamely. "Does that ring a bell?" After all, Jervis liked to think their legacy went far. They were a brutal group that lacked any allies and their treachery reigned across the continent. If they didn't know, the ardent wouldn't be pleased. Yet he continued on. "Why are you here and what's your name?" the vulpine demanded immediately after. Might as well catch a name before disposing of them properly. Muse looked around in surprise when he heard footsteps approaching him, and several of the eyes near his chest and neck focused on the fox. Some or them blinked, and a small frown came to his muzzle as Jervis asked if he knew what The Pitt was. He shook his head quickly and said as he pinned his ears to his head for a long moment, [glow=#A76566,1,400]"The Pitt...? No, no, I've never heard of The Pitt before... what is it? A group?"[/glow] He could only assume it was, from the way that Jervis was talking, but he had never heard of it before. In fact, the only group that Muse had ever heard of was his home group where he had been born, Arcadianclan. He had been warned away from several groups, but never one known as the Pitt. After taking a deep breath, he quickly shook his head and mumbled in a very worried voice, an odd feeling of nausea passing over him at the anger that radiated off of Jervis in waves, [glow=#A76566,1,400]"I don't quite know why I'm here... because I'm lost, I guess? I don't know where else to go... I know my name though! It's Musicbox. Musicbox Caddo-Puppeteer... perhaps I could join here? Or... if I can't join here, could you point me in the direction of somewhere else? To keep me safe...?"[/glow] Re: SWEETNESS, SWEETNESS ☆ joining - Crackers - 08-25-2019 FOURTHWALL & GLITCHHOP BLACK-GOLD MOTTLED HELLHOUND / BROWN-GOLD MOTTLED HELLHOUND MALE - 22 - SOCIAL & VIOLENT / OBEDIENT & NAIVE - FEMALE - 17 - THE PITT Ever since Fourthwall had brought Glitchhhop into the clan it had become a common occurance to see the pair together. He'd introduced her as family and it was easily believable that these two had a long history of being close siblings, even if that couldn't be farther from the actual truth. For Glitch and Fourth though, this familial relationship had been easy to form, and so it was easy for the rest of the clan to see it as so. As could be aexpected, the pair of oversized canines were together that day, out patrolling the borders for Jervis. Fourth hated being alone, and with the Pitt being as quiet as it was he'd had no guilt over bringing Glitch into things. She was energetic and optimistic, hard working and readily willing to play follower to him. It was exactly what the socially starved hellion had needed, and with his new 'sister' in tow the pair had set out that afternoon to do a quick border patrol in case there were any stragglers out there. "Hey Fourth, you smell that?" Glitch would say, pausing to glance back at the larger hellhound. She had gone off ahead a few meters chasing after a butterfly when she'd caught the scent of someone that didn't hold their clans scent, and she waited eagerly for the older canines response. Fourth would hasten his pace to catch up, jaws parting to scent the air. "Looks like we might have some company. Come on." She would loyally flank him as he set off along the treeline of the jungle, following after the scent until at last the person who was responsible for it came into view- with Jervis. The large black and gold brindle canine would make his way over to stand beside his Ardent, Glitch standing beside him, just in time to catch the exchange between the two. "If our Leader here ddoes allow you to stay, it won't be a free ride. Everyone contributes in the Pitt." "SPEECH |
