The fact that there were human settlements without any sign of humans unnerved him. He had no problem sleeping in houses, but he sort of felt out of place. Didn't they as well? Actually, the thing that grabbed his attention most fully was the stench that Vathmos carried about her. He would literally fall over and die the next time he saw her. Of course, he wasn't a supernatural figure anymore -- he still had yet to discover what restrictions lay for him as a mortal.
It was relatively easy for Machiavelli to locate Vathmos' sleeping quarters on account of the smell. He hesitated at the door, wondering if he should turn back and look for a piece of prey to bring as a gift. No, he shouldn't need to. He wouldn't waste any more time. "Vathmos? It's me, Mac." The Anatolian shepherd called out, settling down on his haunches as he waited, mentally preparing himself for the assault on his nose. Re: what did you expect | vathmos - Vathmos - 08-11-2019 Vathmos was more feral than her comrades. She could not read, and she had a hard time grasping the intracies of the language. In some ways, she wished another hyena would show up so that she could properly talk to someone. She didn't care for cleaning, it wasn't something taught to her and wasn't a thing amoung hyena tribes. Slaves did the cleaning, if any. She laid in on her pile of skins, peacefully asleep. Vathmos, being nocturnal, rarely was awake during the day time, and often didn't wake until dusk. Vathmos' home smelled about the same as she did, but the rotting flesh smell was far more pungent. There were not many things decorating her home. Vathmos had a pile of bones in the back left corner, and a pile of skins on the right. She didn't have many decorations yet but she planned on getting more possessions- eventually. The knock awoke her after a few tries, as she drug herself out of the 'bed.' She opened her door using the rope attached to the handle, sticking her head out and blocking off the inside with her body. "Hello Mac." She licked her chops. "More food?" ━ [b]MY SKIN IS A STORY┆LONELY. CLINGY. HATEFUL. ━ Re: what did you expect | vathmos - Felibri - 08-11-2019 [align=center]
His amber eyes squinted and his ears pulled back when the door opened. It was a momentary reaction. While he knew Vathmos appreciated him for bringing a rabbit, he still was quite wary and awkward around the others just in general. In time he should warm up to them. Machiavelli did like to work alone, but he still needed company to thrive, as well as for his own mental health. He was a bit out of touch with his canine instincts -- as it had been a while since he was simply a dog. Until he could find a way to discover his supernatural abilities and form once more, he could leave and return to his rightful place at the Council he had been so unjustly thrown out of. Backstabbed, betrayed ... The Anatolian's fur bristled as he thought of it until he realized he was standing in front of a hungry hyena.
"Not now. Later, I will. I have another gift for you. It's called a bath. Do you happen to have a co-contain-container that holds water in your home?" Mac blinked, unable to see past Vathmos' smelly body to see into her home. He would be sorely disappointed, but thankfully, he was resourceful. Re: what did you expect | vathmos - Vathmos - 08-14-2019 Vathmos felt she was above Machievelli. In her mind, it was the higher ups of the clan, followed by the regular members. Amoung the regular membes, it was whoever was stronger or joined earlier. She could totally rip this dog to shreds. Mac didn't seem adjusted to himself, and less ferocious than her. "No." She looked behind her. There was bowl for water but that was about it. "A bath?" ━ [b]MY SKIN IS A STORY┆LONELY. CLINGY. HATEFUL. ━ |
