- dva is her "source material" by all rights but her face claim is actually jennie kim of blackpink
- normally aged between 19 and 25, she will drink regardless of age (au hana is very fond of drinking) but it does determine whether or not she can participate in bar aus & whether or not she bought the liquor herself. does not live with her parents unless in a highschool au
- korean-american, her father (elias) having moved to south korea where he met her mother (ji-yoon/지윤). raised in busan and moved to america for various reasons depending on the au.
- in highschool aus hana is a senior either born and raised in america, or moved to america at a very young age from south korea. she plans on going to a west-coast college for cinematography. in college aus she is a sophomore with an off-campus apartment that moved to america in pursuit of their cinematography programs. she streams in her free time, although her following is quaint. she may or may not have a part-time job. hana shares her apartment with lucio, who is going to college for commercial music production with plans of becoming a music producer. in general aus she moved to america after coordinating with an online friend (lucio) to rent a house and focus on her career as a streamer (with an interest in cinematography). she is a full-time streamer, while lucio is a full-time music producer, meaning they both work from home. in aus where her being a streamer is unacceptable, she is instead an air traffic controller working in an up/down tower with a degree in cinematography, depending on her age. she may or may not stream in her free time with a very small following.
- the location of her home is fluid to fit wherever the au is located, however it can be assumed she lives in los angeles or new york (or, any big city) if necessary. in aus placed in south korea or airports, she is going to visit her family, who did not move with her to america. in aus located outside of the united states, hana is traveling for vacation.
- in general aus, hana's stream follower count is significant enough she can support herself solely as a streamer. her size can be compared to that of timthetatman. her biggest sponsors are redbull and razer, although she partners with a significant number of other sites. her headset is razer brand and the exact same as displayed in-game: she does have her jumper as well, however it is reserved for live appearances such as twitchcon. her insignia is the exact same, and she sells a fair amount of merch with the bunny on it. hana also has quite a bit of fan-made material with the logo, most of which is kept in her room and displayed wherever it'll fit. hana mostly plays and thrives in competitive games, although her roots are in starcraft: so after a day of pugb, csgo, lol, and the like her wind down hour is normally spent playing starcraft ii or odd indie games. her streams are in english, although she speaks korean sparingly when excited or frustrated. it is usually assumed her source material, overwatch, does not exist in the au although blizzard-activision does.
- in general aus, hana & lucio's shared home is a rental three bedroom, one bathroom, one story house like so. the kitchen doubles as a dining room, with the bottom half of the room being equipped with appliances while the top half has a dining table and is the way to the back door. out the back door is a small oak deck that leads down into an unfenced yard with unkempt but not unsightly grass. their production room is the re-purposed master bedroom: the wall adjacent to the kitchen is the one decked out with hana's streaming equipment, a triple monitor display with an led keyboard and a dxracer chair gifted to her. her pc tower, atop her desk to the right of her monitors, is a custom-ordered, liquid cooled monster with decaled builds in a pink casing designed to play nearly anything at the highest graphical settings possible. by her feet beneath the desk is a ups, tucked away in a hurricane of disorganized cords and extensions. on the other side of the room, adjacent with lucio's room, is his own production equipment: a large 88 key midi keyboard dominates the majority of the wall, side by side with a studio mixing desk that takes up the rest of the room available. a large tv mounted on the wall almost always displays a daw, otherwise it is hana's logo as a background for her streams or is powered off to avoid screen-burn. the remaining exposed wall is padded with acoustic panels, corners wedged with bass traps. against the far wall, close to the corner where the midi keyboard ends is a small audio recording set up, a resting microphone wrapped in a sound diffuser that faces outward toward the rest of the room. an expensive duo of studio monitors sits on each side of the mounted television: however a significantly cheaper chain of studio monitors are also hooked up, however not located in the room. instead they can be found throughout the house: if one were to follow the black cord trailing up the wall and sticking in the high corners of the ceiling, they can spot much smaller stereos placed throughout the hallway, living room, and kitchen so that lucio can continue to critique his music when away from the professional-grade monitors. the production room is outstandingly their most valuable, expensive room in the house. their living room, dining room, and bedrooms are notably budgeted, with items very clearly having been taken from moving sales and yard sales.
- owns three dogs. the first dog is a 2 year old female samoyed named cloud, both after her appearance and in reference to the final fantasy character of the same name. cloud was a gift from hana's parents after she successfully settled into the united states. lucio got a dog of his own around the same time, a 2 year old male sesame shiba inu named rei ("king" in portuguese, lucio's native language). cloud and rei are only approximately four weeks apart in age. raising two puppies at the same time was hellish, but at least they had themselves to keep each other occupied. once the puppies were about six months old, hana and lucio agreed to get one more dog as a "joint" dog rather than being distinctly owned by one individual person in the house. on their first trip to the shelter hana fell in love with an aged pitbull cross that ended up coming home with them that night. he was named miso ("smile" in korean) due to the standard facial expression of his breed. miso is standard red and white with notable greying on his muzzle. he is believed to be around 12 years old, and the calmest of the three dogs- he follows hana silently, and prefers snoozing on the couch over playing with the younger dogs. he is incredibly obedient toward lucio and hana alike, sleeping with hana at night. rei sleeps with lucio, while cloud alternates between beds. cloud is a little more reserved but still youthful, quick to come out of her shell and bounce around and up on you- which can be difficult to handle given her size and weight. she generally respects the wishes of hana, but has the tendency to ignore lucio when he addresses her. rei, on the other hand, is a demon- he listens to none, pulls relentlessly on the leash, barks nonstop at a n y t h i n g slightly interesting outside the house, and doesnt know what "no" means. as their house has no fences, they are taken on three walks a day- two short bathroom breaks in the morning and at noon, and one long walk for exercise in the evening.
- there is almost always music playing in their house: whether it be lucio repeating his developing song to listen for flaws throughout the house, or hana having left a game on pause in the living room indefinitely, this background noise will persist even throughout the night. it is so commonplace that if the house is silent, their immediate assumption is a piece of technology broke or there was a power outage to prevent it from playing.
- in all aus except highschool, hana is close friends with the original remaining cast of overwatch characters, although they go unplayed in the main game. this is most notable with lucio, who in most aus is her roommate and closest friend, although doesn't exist in the main game. they stay faithful with their relations to each other, and have jobs that align with their lore. for example, pharah/fareeha is ana's daughter, and a local officer. mercy/angela is a surgeon, and one of hana's older friends. ana is her eldest friend at 60, but also the cheekiest- she is the most likely to cause problems and instigate issues. this encourages hana's social nature in aus, and also provides easy excuses for hana to be out and about for any away-from-home aus.
- hana makes very poor decisions when she drinks too much. this is also canonical to her main game counterpart, although it can be expanded upon more in aus. she often wakes up wondering if she slept with anybody the night before, and can struggle to recall what happened at all. despite this blatant problem, hana rarely contains her drinking: she is all-or-nothing with her alcohol consumption, and is usually pretty good at keeping it down. she'll black out sooner than she'll throw up.
- while she primarily uses english in the united states, her taste of music remains firmly in k-pop (see her canonical playlist, the one she listens to in all universes). she is particularly fond of girl groups, especially the up-and-coming blackpink. although the sounds are similar, she struggles to enjoy western pop as much. she can tolerate most types of music, although she leans toward favoring american rap. she HATES country.

ROOM DESCRIPTION:
‣ Hana's home sits at the core of Snowbound's village, a block or two away from the town square. The wooden cabin appears rather dull on the outside, made of whole logs of aged spruce. The inside of Hana's home is all one large room, with no dividing walls to segregate it: it seems to be quite spacious by cutting out the unnecessary blockades, but the illusion is short-lived as Hana's home is rather quaint. The house itself is incredibly simple: it harbors no heaters, nor rugs, but simply just an open hardwood floor, meaning her home can become quite cold in the late winter months. In the far right corner of her home is her primary setup, an older silver box television sitting on the floor with an absolute disaster of cords pouring from its frontside. Sitting closely in front of the TV is a Playstation 2 and Sega Genesis, while to the left of the television is a dusty Playstation 3 and Xbox. The left side is occupied by the newer generation of consoles, the Playstation 4 and Xbox One. In the corner directly across from the TV is a thick nest of pink blankets and white pillows, covered in long chocolate hair from her shedding. Nestled between folds of blankets are Hana's various handhelds, too small and fragile to be left out so openly to the night air as the larger consoles, while her beloved laptop sits directly outside of her ring of bedding for quick and convenient use. In the left corner directly after walking through her door is a disorganized mess of games, stacked in lumbering towers without rhyme or reason. The remainder of her home remains barren, without even a single candle to light it as she either goes by the light of the sun through the windows, the light of the TV glowing, or her laptop. Outside of her home against the back is a compact solar-powered generator, just strong enough to power her limited technology inside her home. In particularly stormy weather she has to go without her television and the ability to charge her electronics because of such.

WEAPONRY:
‣ 1 pink pocket knife; used for self-defense, normally left behind at home

RESOURCE ITEMS:
‣ 1 pink tote bag; used to transport her consoles when the need arises
‣ 14 leather straps; used to harness and fasten things to Miso for travel
‣ 2 cans of paint; a pet-safe alternative to clay for her facial decorations
‣ 1 generator; a solar-powered method of using electronics
‣ 3 bags of rice; the always-handy emergency response for wet devices

ACCESSORIES:
‣ 1 pink scarf; for particularly cold days, although it goes unused
‣ 1 red beaded bracelet; a trinket made for her by her cousin, she is scared of ruining it by wearing it

ENTERTAINMENT:
‣ 1 Game Boy Color Advance SP; a dull pink handheld with faded and worn buttons. her first console, treated with the utmost respect and care.
‣ 1 Nintendo DS; a newer edition to her collection, retaining some minor water damage but otherwise running fine.
‣ 1 PlayStation 2; her first non-handheld console, a faded black and covered in scratches. runs great, at least.
‣ 6 Save Cards; all of which are fully filled with playstation saves. time to start looking for new ones.
‣ 1 Xbox; it has a film of dust. when was the last time she even used this?
‣ 1 Nondescript PC; her most used toy, with a faded trackpad and worn down keys. it can manage taxing games well, although has the tendency to be slow because of all that's saved on it.
‣ 1 PlayStation 4; the newest addition to her collection, and it shows in its condition.
‣ 1 Xbox One; while more used than its predecessor, it still sees a lack of attention.
‣ ? Games; games of every age, of every platform, ranging from Shadow of the Colossus, to Metal Gear Solid 5, to Persona 2: Innocent Sin in an uncoordinated pile rivaling the size of her tv. does she even know she has some of these?
