maybe it could be like
the group is forming, but the leader already got quite a few people in on it and now invites our characters to join in? so like, it's a fresh start, and still not just awkward "oh hi, wanna make a clan together?"
i'm gonna start working on this guy's intro thread soon enough since his tags are MOSTLY done. (besides the history. that's gonna take a while.)
