You will always be a monster, there is no turning back from it. But what type of monster you become is entirely up to you - /wow, late af. Lucifer had been surprised to get a gift if he was honest - oh he wouldn't discount the goodness of others but it was often the beast of the dark simply didn't think he was worth of that in others eyes, so long had he been used to scorn from any but his immediate family, from those that couldn't look beyond the red marring upon his face. So when presented with a large enough wreath of flowers for his crown of obsidian horns, he was somewhat overwhelmed briefly by gratitude and a slight bewildered smile crossed the obsidian jaws "oh no goldie, it's a perfect rendition, thank you - and thank you for the flowers" the great dragon rumbled smiling and placing the flowers upon his head where they slipped slightly lopsided onto his horns. The picture he folded away carefully into a small pocket between scales, he'd put it away safely among his keepsakes later. The ocelot carefully took hold of her present, afraid of accidentally breaking a shell or ripping Goldie's doodle. Without her noticing, her lips turned up in the barest hint of a smile as she read Goldie's note and imagined she could almost feel the sincerity in the girl's tone. Slipping on the pouch necklace, she murmured her thanks, "This will definitely be useful - I love all of the gifts, Goldie, and you'll become a great artist if you keep practicing!" She thinks she might need to hang up that little doodle in her treehouse, if she can get a picture frame for it. © MADI
