Stand back? While Kirishima does everything? A vaguely insulted look passes Izuku's face. Not actually insulted. Just sort of .. hm. His ear turns. "It's not hard to read it while we both work on it," Izuku rolls his eyes. He knows how to bake. And reading the instructions was reserved for people who didn't know what they were doing. He'd been better at baking as a human, sure, but still. .. Then again. His paws. That might be why Kirishima is concerned. But Izuku is fine, thank you very much. "I can still use my paws, y'know," He adds, gesturing with a wing. Not a very compelling case, but Izuku didn't have the patience to just sit back while other people did stuff. Rude.

As Kirishima backs down, so does Izuku. The Maine Coon's tail gives an easy swish. Good. Izuku .. didn't like being left behind. Didn't like being treated like an injured person. He couldn't -- he couldn't be weak. He couldn't admit he couldn't do something because then he was weak and then somebody would decide to take him out of the chain so they wouldn't have competition and --
He cuts himself off.
"Yeah, that's all fine!" Izuku chirps without argument, taking a humorously long step to stride after the maned wolf. And then, once they start properly moving, he makes into a proper trot besides the much larger canine, appearing at ease with whatever was happening. Izuku grins. This would be fun, wouldn't it? He liked spending time with Kirishima. And it kept him from doing stupid stuff out of boredom, y'know?

Izuku .. wasn't the greatest at walking right now. Sure, he could keep up, but that was just 'cause Izuku hated being left behind and so ignored his limits. So yeah, a little run could hurt him. But who was Izuku to ignore some prodding and jabbing? Once more, Izuku's ears prick as Kirishima picks up pace. And then, things slowly occur to him. Wow. Rude.
"Hey!!" Izuku complains heatlessly, stumbling over his paws for a second. His wings flare momentarily as he rights himself, and then he's hurrying up his trot to move on some sort of speed walk. His broken leg moves uselessly, since he refuses to put it on the ground, but damn if he doesn't want to. But still, regardless, the Maine Coon offers a little grin up at the Maned Wolf. Well, he was still fast enough to keep up, wasn't he? He could probably do a lot better uninjured, but, well, it was too late for that now, huh?

They were both injured dummies, honestly. Injured because of reasons they really could've prevented, easy peasy. Kirishima and he had .. very strange things in common, really. More strange things than normal things, really. But Izuku doesn't mind. Better strange things than nothing at all.
They, of course, arrive at the village pretty fast. Izuku makes to continue farther, even though his paws hurt, but Izuku doesn't mind. But, when Kirishima doesn't continue, Izuku starts, and turns his head to blink at the canine. He doesn't mind that, either. Izuku plops into a sitting position, making to stretch his wings and keep weight off of his front paws while he has the chance. He oughta ice them for a little while, later. Just to be safe. Maybe he could just play around in the snow, a little. Nothing too extreme, though.

Izuku, of course, isn't prepared for the attack. The feline lets out a little squawk as the snow hits his face. He wobbles, desperately whirling his wings to right himself. He gives Kirishima a vaguely insulted look. It's joking, of course, because there's a little devious grin on his maw. "Really?" He says, shaking his head. Then, after a long moment, uses his wings to try and propel snow back. He can't use his front paws very well, and it'd be good exercise for his wings, right? .. They were pretty good at shoving snow around, anyways. So he does. He dips his wings farther into the snow, and then yanks them upwards for try and unload a bunch of snow into Kirishima's face. He was undefeated in snow fights. Except for when he was crippled. That happens a lot. A lot more than it should, at least. There was a reason everybody was disappointed in him, goddamn.
