You will always be a monster, there is no turning back from it.
But what type of monster you become is entirely up to you -

Lucifer watched the exchange silently, the back and forth - aph ra's declaration as well as pinch's - the ancient blinked slowly, alone? No these children wouldn't know that, they had parents and siblings, they had a family.

They had them too.

There would be no fear or fright for their very lives, they would not suffer a childhood like his he decided - he might've been too late for Pinch or himself but these children would know happiness.

A quiet rumble as the dragon spoke up "they'll not be alone, they've got all of us here too after all" and then a snort on a light her tone "if nothing else a large dragon-like climbing frame is a good distraction for when you're busy - or so I've been told"

Re: BEING LONELY IS ONLY FUN IN A GROUP // open, Pinch babiesss - ROSEMARY - 07-25-2018

ROSEMARY ROUX

Rosemary, from a matriarchal coven, always supported the thought that children should remain with their mother whenever possible. Even so, she felt wary about Aphra if only because she never really interacted with the other female and relied on reading Pincher's angry reaction to get a feel as to the cat's capacity as a mother. She eyed the new mother with some degree of annoyance, as though the debate as to custody was beneath all of them. Indeed, the ocelot thought all of these hostile feelings were irrational, given the obvious solution of joint custody. Besides, the kids weren't even old enough to start getting influenced from their parental figures, so this argument seemed a little too early in the making.

"Given how rare it is for the father to even want to look at their offspring, I suggest you let him and the rest of the Roux family help with raising them," Rosemary spoke, her words enhanced by her usual deadpan for once. Her tone and words hardly ever seemed to jive properly, but this occasion marked one of the few times where she found having an icy undertone to her voice helped matters.

[align=center][div style="text-align: justify; width: 55%; font-family: arial; font-size: 10pt; letter-spacing: -1px;"]Somehow, perhaps by the grace of whatever gods deigned to lend their power, Coldblue managed to hold his tongue during the exchange between Aphra and Pincher. He does, however, scoff at the claim that Pincher would never cheat. Maybe the kid's just being cynical, but he really has a hard time believing that. Although Pinch has improved...somewhat, Blue has yet to see tangible proof that his father is actually worthy of all the love and respect people seem to hold for him. At the arrival of Rosemary, the boy finds himself gravitating toward the company of his favorite relative--second only to Goldenluxury. He might have stayed longer, but Pincher finally says the words that break his resolve. "But if you aren't interested in the future, tell me so I can be prepared to fully take responsibility of them. I don't want them to be alone." Glacial blue eyes narrow into slits as the youth fixes the captain with a frigid glare. A wry laugh escapes his lips.

"Looks like you're finally learning how to be a parent," he says with a scoff, words laced with poison. "It's about fucking time." There is an underlying message to his outburst. It's clear that Coldblue resents that it took impregnating some crazy bitch and being outed in front of the whole clan to get Pincher to finally step up at a father. And Blue is jealous that he never got that sort of attention. Even now, it's only Goldie who ever is acknowledged. Not that it's much of a surprise. Blue knows he is a piece of shit, though he partially blames that on his father. He may be a piece of shit, but he is a piece of shit who wants to be loved, or at the very least recognized as a member of the family. Instead, he is overlooked and ignored. "Good luck with your custody battle," says the boy before he strides off, not even sparing a glance behind him as he stalks into the  foliage.
