The first contender to step up to the plate was Ximen. Atticus barely knew Elsweyr's brother, but he accepted his judgement, no matter the level of cruelity. Jormungand deserved punishment. With a narrowed gaze, he watched as the Tanglewooder's canines ripped at the panther's skin and pull back to reveal a new gash. The canine shifted in his spot. He wanted to dart forward and assist, but Atticus held no jurisdiction in Tanglewood and arguably The Pitt too, as he held no rank. Plus with his mother present, perhaps it was best to remain calm. Nonetheless, he continued to watch with a sneer as the cheetah's tongue graced the blood on his maw.

His jaw clenched as he watched Ares step in. The girl arose and shapeshifted into a fiery beast, revealing her true nature. The violence from Ximen and Ares continued, causing him to look away with a sigh. Heart pounding, Atticus could feel the adrenaline starting to overtake his system, but he held himself together. Momentarily looking at his mother with squinting eyes, his golden gaze turned back to the scene once Ximen spoke.

He couldn't help but agree. Atticus slowly stepped forward, but made no offensive attack. Instead, he spoke out towards Jormungand with a glare. "No offense, Jor, but I would much rather take your leg off than ruin my alliance between Tanglewood and The Pitt." The same went for Dante. They seemed to be best friends too... Birds of a feather flock together.
