the golden lancehead viper's venom is so intense that within minutes it can melt the skin and muscles off the bone and kill a grown man within 5 minutes. its so dangerous that theres a whole island of them off the coast of brazil (it might not be brazil) thats illegal to go on or even within a certain area around it. you can even be fined up to a $200,000 if you go to the island.

alright here’s a fact for you all: excessively polite people are more likely to betray you in the very near future - especially if they weren’t being polite to you before. sudden shifts in a person’s language, including politeness, positive sentiments, and future planning, can be signs that a betrayal is imminent.

In the wild, giraffes almost never lie down because of vulnerability to predators. They usually sleep standing, sometimes sitting, and they give birth standing up. When giraffes sleep, they curl their necks and sleep for about five minutes at a time, sleeping no more than 30 minutes a day.
