The fae half-considered ditching his assigned partner, if not for realizing just how surprisingly effiecent Keona was.  He did not mind losing to his daughter whatsoever, but he saw the competitive gleam in his twin's eyes and sighed.  Well.  They could make it challenging for her, right?  That in the mind, the feline ran after the endfield, catching up inside to read the clue.  He could name a third location to skulls and flicked an ear, and sent a mental projection of the Typhoon's entrance to his brother, raising a brow before sprinting outside.

They should make it a challenge at least, right?

Is the star a hint too or just... To be artistic? The pirate nearly voiced his inquiry outloud when his twin caught up.  He threw him a curious look, surprised at the sudden telepathic message.  Well, it's a skull that can hold stuff... "HEY!" He sighed, glanced back at Keona once then bolted, finding it his turn to catch up with his brother.

But he was larger and huffed in annoyance as he did, charging a path towards the railroad tracks. "You know if you're wrong..." For it was not like a short walk through the woods.  Even running, and he wondered if maybe he should shift into something faster.  Especially with Masie on the loose.

"Hey, Kian, should I be a roadrunner? What do ya think?" A joke more than anything.

(just a quick note that i've edited the first post to ask others to make sure to SPECIFY where they're looking when they're reached a location! this can significantly help/harm depending on where you go with it considering all the clues are already laid out, it may lead to some shortcuts or potential mistakes ;^) (no current posts should need to be edited, but for future reference please keep in mind))

Re: the typhoon's partner scavenger hunt - Masie - 02-15-2019

The young raptor noted the presence of a cheetah and it was an animal she had not really seen before but seemed to be rather swift. As if she was going to just let something like that out run her! One way or another she'd be able to find some way to outrun that dust maker. With less mass that creature was going to be able to accelerate quicker than she ever could, but Masie suspected from the frail looking appearance it was not going to be able to compete with how long she could keep going. 'Please let this mostly be long distances' she was not going to look slow when compared to a creature which appeared like a banana about to spoil.

To win this? They would need to work together like a flawless pack, thus Masie decided to block out everyone else, focusing every single sense she had on Keona who acted as the guide to the hunt. Listening intently to the blind fae, Masie was ready to go the second the other announced which area they'd be checking first, though she had one more idea in addition to Keona's, her idea being the skull by the railroad so if none of her partners idea's panned out they had plan B already, though she figured Keona would be right without doubt.

Arriving the raptor was quick to follow after the other pair in order to enter the location. However, briefly before entering she looked around the entrance to see if any clue was contained there or within the opened skull. If she found nothing there? Masie would tread forward to check the second of the places skulls, the morary eel one. Since the skull held a treasure she doubted the clue would be separate from a skull.

sorry about taking so long to get to this, honestly forgot

Congratulations, [member=3616]Umber[/member], [member=265]Keona.[/member], and [member=2585]Masie[/member], you've found the second location!
Hanging from the skull connected to the Colosseum's entrance is another chest with a reward (the second item) and the next clue inside.

THE SECOND ITEM: Two gold doubloons.

THE NEXT CLUE: "Looking over the waters, tales of the past may open treasures of the future."
- THE SAME MESSAGE HAS BEEN WRITTEN IN BRAILLE BELOW IT.

NOTE YOUR CHARACTERS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SEE THIS CLUE UNTIL THEY'VE ICLY REACHED THE SECOND LOCATION.

But, wait...it seems one pair has stumbled into a potential shortcut.
Congratulations, [member=267]Kian.[/member] and [member=483]SÉAMUS[/member], you've found the fifrth location!
When looking to the gate, a single chest (the fifth item) is just nearly buried directly under the center of it.

THE FIFTH ITEM: A pair of rings (or potentially earrings) holding a green cat's eye gem within each.

THE NEXT CLUE: "Danger and fear may sit within these torched depths, reminding of such a close memory. But, memories, too, are a treasure."
- THE SAME MESSAGE HAS BEEN WRITTEN IN BRAILLE BELOW IT.

NOTE YOUR CHARACTERS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SEE THIS CLUE UNTIL THEY'VE ICLY REACHED THE FIFTH LOCATION.

"'Looking over the waters... Tales of the past may open treasures of the future.'Waters.  Past.  The fae flicked her tail, blinking once before thinning her lips.  The past.  Wordlessly, she'd urge Masie outside until she was well out of earshot of the other group.  "The railroad." For their border was surrounded by water and she'd felt the engravings on the concrete.  Names of past joiners.

It was worth a shot.  Following her guts thus far had worked out, so she decided to be optimistic.  Of course, the fact neither of her fathers had approached the colosseum made her antsy as the gears in her mind turned.  The previous clue could have already brought them there, couldn't it have? Or misled them to the Temple.  Hopefully the Temple.
