Re: A WARNING TO THE PEOPLE // S/HP MEETING - GORDON CIPHER. - 12-16-2018 Gordon tried to avoid Buckingham’s gaze as he stared at her, pinning her ears back and wrapping her tail tighter around her. ”I-I mean, what if they do catch us?” She squeaked out. ”What if th-they use them as pawns, killing them on th-the spot?” That’s what she was trying to get at; The Pitt using their lives as a way to control Sunhaven. ”Stealth is... s-subjective.” That was something she learned long ago. No matter how hard she and her brother tried, her father always found them. He always found them and he punished them. ”What we consider stealthy m-might not be. Please, Bucky, th-there has to be another way.” Gordon’s heart pounded in her chest as she spoke and truth be told, she was sort of finding it hard to breathe and to concentrate. The small she-cat subconsciously kneaded at her tail, a silent way of trying to calm herself, even if she wasn’t entirely aware of it. The action didn’t work completely, but it was able to keep Gordon from going into a full-blown attack - not that she was at that point, of course. ”Th-things will get worse if we attack,” Her words were full of ‘What ifs’ and hypothetical scenarios and that was something that Gordon dealt with on the daily; unfortunately, she wasn’t entirely sure how to stop those thoughts. //mobile Re: A WARNING TO THE PEOPLE // S/HP MEETING - guts - 12-20-2018 Well, this certainly wasn't going well. Personally, she was fine with what Bucky was proposing, but by the sounds of it, others didn't. And who was the leader here? She sighs, exhaling in exasperation as she shook her head, a headache beginning to close in around her head at this mindless bickering. She had never been a fan of Gordon and her meekness.
"Okay then, smartass, what idea do you have?" she finally breaks in, her annoyance boiling over as she addresses the other female. "We go up and politely ask if they'll return them? Give them flowers and a card, maybe?" her tone is full of venom, eyes narrowing. "If we don't do something, they'll probably end up killing them--and they're not just gonna cooperate that easily, either." with that done, she turns her scowling face back towards Buckingham, hoping that would quiet her. "character's speech." saving the sanctity of silence for a few moments more, venus' gaze drifted along the quarreling high positions with an indistinguishable visage. the plan.. wasn't actually too bad, just had a few holes that needed to be filled in before the group could go along with it, and venus was keen. "gordon's right though, stealth isn't nessessarily something all of us are proficient in and it certainly doesn't come in numbers, too many of us and we'll just be a great big warning sign. how exactly are we going to circumvent this issue helion?" biting their tongue, venus wasn't too fussed about the scuffle ymir and gordon appeared to be having, but was inclined to agree with gordon's view. if the pitt attacked because sunhaven wasn't good at stealth - they were fucked.
