Re: tag [★] can't hold us - Grey - 10-15-2018

This was annoying but here he was, easily absorbed by any challenge. He hates it when others look down on him, hates it when he loses that he's running angrily after Victor, ready to swat him with a heated paw. His blood was boiling now, steaming and sizzling within the confines of his vessels. If anyone was to bump him now, they would probably get burned as his feet kick past the sand, grains flying everywhere like dust left behind by a racing car. "FUCK YOU," he yells back at Victor's taunts, refusing to be called a 'kitten' of all sorts. He hates children and wouldn't want to be compared to them. His time with them was nearing an end. He was almost twelve months old, an adult in the lifespan of a cat. Funnily enough, his childishness always appeared in what he didn't pay attention to. He doesn't realise he's been drawn into a game of tag because his ego doesn't let him see it. Bakugou skids around a corner, stopping himself from losing his balance before seeing his chance to try and leap onto Victor, hitting the back of his head with the side of his paw. It shouldn't hurt, but it'd probably burn from how hot his body was. If he failed, he'd land on the sand, toppling and rolling until he gets up and tries again.

The fleeing boy paused beside the water, blinking as he turned around.  At first he tensed, prepared to continue running from the other child when he realized they had two new players.  His face lit up into a massive grin.  "You have to catch one of us!" He called, eyes dancing.  Truthfully, Bakugou looked... Pissed, but Ikaia hardly let that bother him.  The game was afoot.

The youth felt fairly sure he had a good distance between himself and the two pirates to avoid the target for a few minutes.  Enough to watch to see who ended up 'it'.

Re: tag [★] can't hold us - raziel - 10-15-2018

There was a vague memory, of three boys, princes even, racing through a forest and playing tag in the mud.  He could still recall the look on their mother's face, tracking mud into their home.  The rare day when the twins managed to pull Raziel away from his books.  The faerie smiled absently, his sea-green eyes, the same eyes of every Faolain, gleaming sadly.  Although she had no siblings, it was nice to see Keona embarking on the age-old game with a friend, and even managing to pull in others.

Raziel chuckled quietly, taking a seat beside Alek.  He did not want to bother the children and their game.  The world was an old and cruel place, filled with misfortune.  "No need to be so negative," the direwolf rumbled, smile turning morose.  "There's nothing wrong in a little fun.  Sometimes that's all we need." Even so, the faerie rested his head on his paws, quite content to observe rather than join in the game.

He was not sure if Bakugou was trying to hurt him or just trying to punch him. Either way, it did not feel very good. Feeling the heat, Victor decided it was time to send the angry boy into a timeout. With Bakugou still on him, Victor quickly dropped his head in hopes of making the ragdoll slide off of him where he would quickly rotate his cranium and grab onto the scruff of the cat. Ultimately, Victor was 'it' again, but he found that pissing off the cat was rather fun. Eyes drawing to both Ikaia and Raziel, he pondered upon which of the two he would go after first. If he succeeded in grabbing Bakugou, the dog would race towards the two, hopefully with the cat in tow. Settling on Raziel, the husky aimed to lightly tap the wolf with a paw.

Should have figured he'd get involved.  The massive wolf sighed dramatically and rose to his paws slowly as if trying to emphasize he was far too old for this.  Of course, physically speaking, he was hardly plagued with old age and more than capable of chasing a few pirates across the beach.  That said, Raziel fixed his eyes on each crewmate in turn, contemplating.  Seemed rude to chase after someone who just managed to pass 'it' to him, making Victor a no-go. Ikaia had bolted down the shore, Keona not too far behind him.  The latter an easier target since she had to be more careful of obstacles.  Not to mention, Raziel bet the boy had no qualms shifting just before someone grabbed him.  Lucky he too, could shift.  And Bakugou was just plain irritable.

That left one who had not been roped in yet.

Raziel stretched, a wry smile on his maw.  By now, the others should have made some distance.  False security.  He could catch up quickly should he choose.  Instead, the direwolf decides to turn on Alek, aiming a soft touch to the helion's side, then quickly took off, unwilling to lock himself in a two-way battle like Bakugou and Victor had, whether or not he actually managed to transfer the oh so dreadful status of it..

Re: tag [★] can't hold us - Grey - 10-17-2018

He doesn't care about the comments or opinions of others, but his cheeks are burning with annoyance by the time he finally lands on Victor to swat him. Perhaps it could be interpreted as an aggressive tag but Bakugou meant to put more force in it, actually slipping slightly with his grip that the power wasn't as strong as it could have been. He lands off, furrowing his brows when he stares at Victor, daring him to try again because he was ready to burn him with a searing jet of flames. Smoke was already puffing through his flared nostrils. Luckily, the sled dog made the wise decision of going after different 'prey'. Bakugou turns his eyes away, huffing and tossing his head before making his leave. He's uninterested in staying any longer, becoming part of some ridiculous game of chase. There are too many other things to think about right now and a simple child's game is enough to throw him into a philosophical spiral, unimpressed by the world.
