Yeah, he wasn't thinking properly. Maybe he just wanted a fight. "My bad, can't take the babies anywhere yet." Oni grunted through his long line of snickering, waving his paw towards Thea for show. "Nah, we'll just start some shit with them. Pranks and stuff. Like putting holes in their.. Ship or whatever." Oni grumbled, his tail thumping against the ground. Re: NO PLACE FOR A PRIEST : meeting, 10.07 - azazel. - 10-10-2018
There was a voice behind him, giving an answer of sorts to his question. Azazel gave a glance backward to see who had spoken. A feline, one that didn't seem much older than him, although there was something more dignified about the older creature. A small nod was given in response to the words, and the pup turned to the leader, although not without spotting another clanmate a few rows up. They were quiet, and, for a moment, Azazel almost took the risk of making his way over to them. The lion's voice interrupted his thoughts, and he turned his head to the leader, who had stepped down from where he had been and closer to Azazel. Halo? From what the leader said, it hadn't been put into use for a while. If he took it, he could be the apprentice of the Cleric...When there was one. The lion himself had offered to show him the ropes himself. Azazel liked the idea of it. "I'd like that!" The pup sounded maybe a bit too cheerful, given the rest of the meeting, but he hesitated a moment later before lowering his voice. "Thank you." The conversation went on to some sort of fight, and Azazel found himself uninterested. For the most part, anyway. Even if he was, he wouldn't be able to help with his still-healing wounds and no training. The conversation pulled toward pranks, and he was quiet, mind drifting to the thought of the rank he could very well be if the training went well. Abraxas' head whipped up at the mention of his name, figuring that his call out was rather absurb. After all, he had been here for his entire life, so had Syndicate. They had just been noticed now? After all this time. At least everything was running smoothly... If they would of been hinted at earlier on, who knew where they would be by now. Actually, he knew. The African Wild Dog didn't want to acknowledge that he'd be six feet under if that was the situation. "Thank you," came his lowly response. Abraxas' tone was not kind, nor rude, but rather blunt. "Also, please consider me interested in medical endeavors for the future also," he added on last moment. With his experiments on Syndicate, he figured he could prove himself worthy with that knowledge. For now though, he was completely fine with remaining a simple pawn in the Ascendant's hierarchy. There was no need to rush into the ranks. After all, there was no desire for one in the first place. He just felt as if he could make use of himself and finally come out of his shell for once. Lugging around his brainwashed son was no fun. |
