Re: loyalty to the king — duel-joining - Grey - 09-17-2018 Once again, Linux is being Linux. He snorts, rolls his eyes at her, but he doesn't snap back at her. He's too exhausted to waste any second of his living on that child. Life is too precious to acknowledge the existence of nuisances, if he could imagine her to fade from existence that would be lovely. After all, he sees no point in licking the paws of strangers, especially when they were melded with the smell of the enemy. Why should he be hospitable only to return to himself? He'd rather not lie. And yet it is the sled dog who gives a rather daring reply, boldly using sarcasm to reply to Bakugou's words. Six seconds. The reaver's lips curl into a snarl at his attempt to joke with him. Five seconds was five seconds. It should be enough to simply say he was lost, looking to join, a spy, anything. But the next couple of words catch his attention, sanguine eyes burning towards him. Join, even though the male had so naively claimed to be a member of The Ascendants. The male, however, finds himself snorting at Victor's next comment to Linux. A punching bag, a pillow. Well, using he vented his strength into blacksmithing but Bakugou has been in an especially bad mood ever since he felt those sensations, perhaps even more insensitive than usual. Truthfully, he thinks he's been rather tame as of late.
Before he can even think of a reply or how to react to the husky, the Captain appears, encircled by a disapproving air. Cold, distasteful, frigid. His hues flicker towards Pincher, his blunt rejection of the other male. So quickly was the male sent away and it makes Bakugou smirk, curling his tail and raising his head a little higher, amused at Linux's earlier hospitality to the stranger. Hah, she truly was a bootlicker. But Victor continues to be a basket of surprises, almost to the point of begging where he suggests to drop. It brings in a bigger crowd, the first of the lot being Owen who he growls at, narrowing his gaze like daggers towards him. Raptors. He would rather they all returned to the ground, be extinct again because they were incapable of logical thought and arguments. They were stupid to think they can settle a personal vendetta without injuring the ones around him. He wanted them all gone, or maybe even overfed so they could grow overweight, unable to drag themselves onto two feet. Bakugou finds himself agreeing with Luca, to leave the husky alone. He seems too foolish to be a spy, frowning a little at Kirishima because he isn't sure what counts as a 'test'. Anyone who has been in a group long enough should know briefly of their politics. It means Victor is either one big idiot, an evil genius, or just new around these parts. "It's surely some next level thinking for someone to come and request a joining to The Typhoon while covered in The Ascendants' scent, askin' to join and mentionin' they come from the motherfuckin' enemy clan. It's far easier to make up some dramatic story to try and gain our trust," Bakugou says, twitching an ear. He thinks the canine must merely be very stupid, unwise to have come around these parts not knowing of politics and stances. "I think he's just naive." Re: loyalty to the king — duel-joining - PINCHER - 09-18-2018 CAPTAIN PINCHER ROUX | resides in the typhoon and is the demigod of rough seas. he is a muscular dark gray jaguar with frigid glacier blue eyes, marked with scars and glowing tattoos. he is the head of the roux family and is currently single. he is known for being a charming strategist with dark secrets. be cautious around him. —— ⚓ ❝ YOUR HEART IS A BOTTOMLESS ABYSS — DEEPER THAN YOU'D LIKE TO ADMIT ❞ Pincher held a difficult time shifting past the idea that one could easily change their loyalties but then again he was a pirate, he knew how an ocean changed tides so easily and so do living creatures as well. He had been forced into the idea that you had to stick to one idea and movement no matter what but luckily he was learning to unstick himself from that belief although his loyalty to his family and his crew was unbreakable. One could try and convince him to betray them or backstab but it would just float out of his ears without remaining anywhere in his head. Was it cheesy to believe that? Perhaps but he knew no matter on what realm of reality and sensibility, he would hold a connection to the group he had created from the ground up. He had worked hard on proving his worth and he hoped that showed even if many months had passed already. He was only remaining original leader among the changing faces of other groups so Pincher guessed he was doing a decent job since there had never been a sort of mutiny. The dark ash gray male's right invisible eyebrow quirked upwards at the sudden statement that Victor gave out, rather baffled but his cool facial features didn't allow it to show too much. He then bears Owen, Luca and Kirishima join in, chipping in their ideas. The lean tattooed demigod let out a small huff of icy breath roll out of his forked tongue as he replied "Let's not cause anymore raptor mess especially in our territory. I already have a way of seeing who to trust when they come from an enemy and I gotta agree with Bakugou, he could've lied and made up some story but he seems honest about not wanting to stick with those boring weak fucks." Pincher's tense muscles seem to slowly unwind as time passed before the wildcat shrugged his marked shoulders as he stated "Alright Victor, you're free to become a part of the crew. Try any sneaky shit and it'll just give me a good reason to hang you by your intestines. Anyways names Pincher, I'm the captain of this lot." The immortal gave a light nod towards the others that stood beside him. He wasn't too worried about Victor betraying them but he would not be fond if the idea actually came true. Yet he wasn't going to be an uptight bitch about letting a former enemy join cause shit changed and one needed to move on despite the embedded seed of hatred that remained inside his chest. Owen seemed to relax at the sight of Pincher allowing the kid in, soon chuckling as he lifted a paw up in greeting. "Name's Owen Grady, My kids are somewhere around here, lets hope they don't show up. Their names are Delta and Charlie, you'll catch sight of 'em eventually." Owen introduced himself and his girls, his tail waving behind him before he glanced back at Bakugou and the others. //mobile TAGS • THE TYPHOON • 27 M/O • GERMAN SHEPHERD | INDOMINUS REX • #RAPTORFAM Re: loyalty to the king — duel-joining - darci - 09-18-2018 [div style="margin: 0 auto; width: 60%; font-family: georgia; font-size: 13pt; text-align: justify;"]His eyes drew to Owen as the fellow canine appeared and voice his words. Victor's expression simply remained the same: unreadable. It was best not to let his true feelings for this odd situation to surface. Who knows what he would say. They thought he was a spy? Victor almost laughed at the idea. He was, in fact, far from spy material. If you did not count him spying on his rebellious sister due to his mother's commands, he never had the skill under his belt. The husky drew his head out of the clouds, attention flying back to Owen. "Raptors?" Confusion wiped across his face. "As in dinosaurs?" If they were literally talking about fucking dinosaurs was Victor going to chalk it up to him having had seen it all. Why the hell did they have dinosaurs? He shook his head - Victor was getting a bit overwhelmed. The male shot Luca a small appreciative smile. Shifting his eyes to Kirishima did he shift his weight to one side. They were convinced he was a spy. "Surly if I was a spy I would do a much better job than this." Victor's mind went back to the memory where he stalked his sister by hiding in snow mounds, only his vibrant blue eyes peeking out from the snow. Even then did his sister discover me and landed a good knot on his head. Back to Bakugou he went. Naive. That was, perhaps, the best way to put it. He was not familiar with the group relations and all of that. Victor was essentially feeling his way through the dark. As Pincher began to speak did he look back towards the large cat. Victor remained silent as Pincher addressed the others, still slightly unnerved as the idea of dinosaurs being here. He hoped one did not show up. This was quite a lot for one day. "Thank you. It's nice to meet you, Pincher." The husky suddenly felt a wave of relief come over him. Back to the idea of the raptors. Charlie and Delta. It slightly amazed him at the sudden attitude change in the air, but he was one of them now. Better to have a better attitude change than deal with cranky group mates for the time he was here. "It's nice to meet you Owen." |
