But heed the zealot's lesson well,
when the weak court death, they find it.
considering this world - and even star syystem it belonged  to - was entirely new to him, he'd come to quietly sit in on this, he wasn't prideful enough like some sith to think they needn't know such 'mundane' things but one didn't keep their lot in life without always seeking all forms of knowledge - so the Indoraptor - at least now he knew what creatures were named what, a small mercy, - had quietly sat amongst the group listening for now.

His expression remained thoughtful before he gave it a guess.  "Hemlock.  It's a poison, deadly."  Sephiroth would give it his best shot, what he considered a good guess.

[align=center][div style="0px; width:450px; height:auto; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height:13px; color:black;"]As before she only knew the basics when it came to medicinal herbs. Those meant to keep someone alive longer while war waged on around them. They hadn't had a need for field medics and everyone had to be prepared to save themselves if they could. As the next herb came forward the woman glanced over the marigold look a like, eyes watching the egg colored petals for a moment. Sephiroth spoke up first and she tilted her head a little bit. Water Hemlock? Her eyes narrowed a bit as she focused on the plant, shifting through what she knew but poisons were not one of those things so she couldn't say she knew for sure what it was. But if it was Hemlock that would be an interesting lesson to learn about a poisonous plant. The woman decided to just allow for the answer to stand as she didn't want to guess it and be wrong so she merely shook her head slightly."I'm not too sure of what that could be. Enlighten me please." She did want to know what it was and how it worked.

[align=center][div style="width: 51%; text-align: justify; font-size: 10pt; letter-spacing: 0px; font-family: verdana;"]Lydia smiled brightly as Alektto and Prestige joined her little class, cheered by everyone's combined interest in her vast plant-knowledge. She waited patiently as different answers filtered in, and waited for a pause before jabbing a paw in Sephiroth's direction, indicating that he'd been correct. "Yep! It's water hemlock," the tabby confirmed, genuinely satisfied by the lion's general knowledge.

"It looks similar to white snakeroot as well, which is also poisonous," she explained as she placed the flower back onto the ground "the symptoms of hemlock poisoning are the usual... nausea, vomiting, confusion, etcetera... Except hemlock also causes seizures and a pH drop in the blood, causing it to become acidic." Some sadistic corner of Lydia's brain was highly satisfied by that explanation, maybe wanting to try it out on an enemy some day.

"Here's the next one," the tabby chirruped after a long moment of thought, plucking the third plant from her collection. It was a snipping with soft purple flowers blossoming all along the stem, the center of a few growing out a small, deep purple berry. It was definitely less common than the first two, at least on The Rosebloods' territory.
