Re: CHAPTER ONE, THE IDIOT + o, joining - GABRIEL - 07-19-2018 [align=center][div style="width: 500px; text-align: justify; font-size: 9.4pt; line-height: 1.4;"]"Luna's Spanish. Lune is French. Close enough, though." Desperate times did indeed call for desperate measures, and Gabe was well-acquainted with that kind of cornering, although he supposed in his experience he hadn't been wounded as much as he'd been...weary. He hadn't turned to a clan, though. Maybe he should have, because he might have avoided the whole shitshow he was now, but wishful thinking never did anything for anyone. Besides, he found Lazarus along the way. As much of a shit the kid could be, he was family by now. Something like it. They all had their stories, didn't they? This lion was no exception, but the hybrid wouldn't go prying at the moment, especially when there were so many people already present, most of them strangers he hadn't bumped into before. It gave him an uncomfortable itch in his wings, and he wished Laz were here, so he could stand next to Gabe all imposing-like. He could deal. There were worse scenarios to find himself in, and with that, he merely returned his gaze to Moon from scrutinizing the others. Another kid in from the cold. Or the shittiness of the world. Either worked. Good thing there were plenty of motherly people here, or at least ones who liked to hover, although from personal experience, he'd hated that when he was younger. "Anyway. I'm Gabe. Guess I'll see you around later, unless you get sick of all the grass before then." Onyx eyes remained a moment longer, before the owl-cat shrugged, making his exit. It wasn't like he would've contributed much, and he could feel another bout of "let's go completely intangible at random moments and walk through a few trees" coming on. [align=right][i]——INFO Re: CHAPTER ONE, THE IDIOT + o, joining - MOONMADE - 07-19-2018 [size=9pt]There was more. Jesus. This place was pretty big, wasn't it? And somehow he had a feeling there was more to the group. What a weird bunch, too, cats and dogs and other things. Speaking of, since when did Mittens and Spot get on?
Moon is grateful when Roman pushes the bowl forward. He passes him a smile, something genuine, as the lion peers into the container. A smell washes over him-- marigold and burdock and there's that emotional wave again, coming up on the horizon like a tsunami. He swallows, throat dry, and focuses on the latest stranger for the sake of his sanity. "Thanks. I'll see what I can do with this stuff." He's about to ask more about the clan, too, but then a feathery creature lands out of no where and, lookit, they've got a whole Petco. He eyes the thing, having never seen anything like him before. His words are just a little bit embarrassing, but Moon's never claimed to be a linguistic genius. "Jeez," he says, as Gabriel takes his leave, looking back at Imperia. "Who hurt Hedwig?" Re: CHAPTER ONE, THE IDIOT + o, joining - imperia - 07-19-2018 [align=center][div style="width: 51%; text-align: justify; font-size: 10pt; letter-spacing: -1px; font-family: georgia;"]Imperia decides that she quite enjoys this person. Most people here are far too serious, even if they are nice. Granted, the silver she-wolf is not the most flamboyant creature either, but she can be silly when she wants. But because she possesses the tendency to mimic what she assumes is accepted behavior, Peri does not express that side of herself very much. Already, Moonmade has encouraged more amusement from the meek healer in a couple of minutes than anyone else has since she arrived. It is quite refreshing. "D'accord," she says with an affirmative bob of her head. Something tells her that the wounded lion prefers that people keep out of his personal space. If anything, she does not wish to make him uncomfortable by insisting that she patch him up. "I do not think you're wounds are too serious, but I might have some antiseptics if you'd like." Just to be safe. Imperia takes health quite seriously. She retrieves the supplies from her satchel and gives them to the young lion with a friendly smile. Roman already covered the most important supplies, but it won't hurt to prevent infections. She cocks her head to the side, listening intently. Moonmade, huh? Well he certainly does have a vivid imagination. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Lune," Peri replies with a teasing glint in her eyes. Her voice is soft, as if afraid of speaking too loud, but the amusement is genuine. "You will have to let our leader know about the people who attacked you. It probably is not safe for anyone if they are lurking so close to our borders." Imperia is always thinking about the bigger picture. She knows that she would hate to run into a bloodthirsty band of rogues on her way to asylum. It is simply common sense. Upon Moon's questioning about Gabriel, all Peri can do is shrug. "I do not know, but everyone has their own history. It is not my place to judge." she knows quite a bit about skeletons in the closet. And a little bit more about interacting with those who possess obvious secrets but are not inclined to share. Perhaps Gabe will divulge his past when he chooses, but it is not important for Imperia to know. It is none of her business. "Would you like a tour once you get yourself patched up? We can make a stop for snacks on the way." It is in her nature to make sure everyone is well-fed. |
