DOES THE BLANK STARE-
SCARE YOU MORE THAN THE FROWN?
[div style="background-color:#BG COLOR;width:90%; overflow: stretch;text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt;color: #E0EEEE;"] Hunger was a phantom that haunted the quartermaster near constantly until recently. To know hunger like that they knew wasn't dulled by eating physical foods or a certain craving of red meat. Hunger was one of the first things Argus knew as a child, the one that had stuck to them for most of their lives, and even without it now, the need for it was gone- but the craving of it was still lingering under their pelt. Something that could not easily be fed during the peace of day. Beside, they had a certain dislike of certain two leg food, they guessed the manner of speaking of being- processed. Freshly made, certain concoctions of course- Argus enjoyed. Candy, sweets, warmed meat. But breads, grains and typically anything that wasn't freshly baked they kept away from.

Of course, none of this really brought up certain appetite when spotting the remains of a baked goods at a child's feet. Remnants of the conversation dragging their own curiosity over wards, could only eat readmeat then? The deputy hummed out, dull red eyes focused on the youth. "[color=#add8e6}Hmm, I'm sure there are ways to have what you wanted within certain... dietary requirements.[/color]" Argus was aware of other's being protective over what they had to eat, and was cautiously walking around the subject. Many animals preferred red meat anyway, and when they ate anything otherwise they got sick if they ate too much of it. There was some middle ground- like a poison. If you take a small dosage and up it every once in a while then soon enough you'll be immune to it's effects. The same goes for eating. You just have to start small.

"Hmm, it may not be much but i do know a recipe that could satisfy your sweet tooth." Argus offered sitting down beside rosemary before the kid. Offering a gentle smile in return.
