He probably shouldn't have been drinking one now that he was a dog, but fuck it. If Thea could drink one, then so could he--probably. Already tuckered out, he slumped down onto his stomach in the shade, taking sips from his drink. Her question towards Shininglight was definitely odd, especially for a kid, and he only hoped he wouldn't take her up on her fighting offer. "SPEECH" Re: Summer fun (open, cold drinks) - Shininglight - 07-18-2018 [div style="font-family: constantia; font-size: 13px; text-align: justified; width: 70%; margin: auto;"] His odd stare finally broke with a slow blink, as Shining glanced towards the cooler behind Thea. The thought of having a cold drink to cool him off sounded like a good idea. To the conscious part of his mind, at least. His focus seemed to fluctuate between Thea's words and his desire to grab something. So an awkward pause formed for a few moments, until finally Shining managed to start walking forward. "A drink..." he muttered, opening the cooler and looking inside. He was unsure what kind of beverage could be in the aluminum cans. Water was always a good choice, but something told him he needed a stronger taste. So lemonade was his choice. Shining grabbed a bottle of the stuff and closed the cooler. "Better than fighting... Had enough of that." The feline limped into an empty spot within the shade, falling onto his stomach. His odd mutterings became incomprehensible, as he began to sip on the lemonade, slowly and carefully, staring off into the distance. |
