Re: LILY-LIVERED / o, mock raid - Morgan - 07-15-2018

Morgan had appeared just alongside Beck, accompanying him close but keeping watch over all the other Tanglers. From behind his mask he monitored everyone in the vicinity, taking note of all the new presences from the various Ascendants. Seeing as many of them had little to no experience with fighting, the samoyed figured his best bet would be to utilize his powers to a slightly lesser degree. At the very least, he would be able to give them a taste of what they may go up against in the future.

After Morgan took a quick breath, one of his bracers let out its water in a small stream. The stream shaped itself into a maw full of sharp-looking teeth as well as a small set of watery daggers. Of course, none of the water was really sharp; the dog only wanted to give off the illusion of proper danger. To set up a quick defense, he pulled water out of another of his bracers; he then hid a few water patches a small distance away from him to make snares should the need arise.

Stepping back into stance, the masked samoyed bellowed, "Sorry," and threw his remaining water at Suiteheart. To begin, he had the watery teeth snap at the feline's face while the daggers swiped around in random directions as a distraction.

.. An unfortunate fact. Caboose did not, in fact, know the difference between real and fake fights. A fortunate fact. Caboose didn't even know how to fight and didn't have a gun to shoot people with. Because he'd absolutely accidentally shoot allies. .. Because Caboose didn't tend to realize the difference between allies and enemies. His helmet pretty much prevented him from biting anyways, considering that he didn't tend to take it off when he was out and about. He hadn't even realized this was a thing that would be happening.  But Caboose probably wouldn't have realized even if it was explained, so that would've happened either way.
.. As it was, though, Caboose wasn't the type to pick a fight first. Even if it was just in a fake fight. Especially not when he'd be overpowered pretty quickly. So, as it was, in a somewhat lame tracking post, Caboose is there. He looks somewhat uncertain of the whole thing as he just sort of .. stands there, puzzled. He might've charged in yelling. But that didn't feel right 'cause he didn't have anything on him. Despite the fact that he wasn't doing anything, though, his tail is pricked enough to show he was at least as alert as he could manage to be.

SUITE
HEART
Suite's attention was on Bastille as he lunged for Beck. She hadn't noticed Morgan begin to set up the attack. She cursed herself as she let him gain the advantage. The watery teeth-like creation had surprised her, causing her to move a few paces back. The daggers of water that moved around her were a mild nuisance, she noted, as they rammed into her. Using her own elemental abilties, Suiteheart attempted to redirect the water-based attacks, hoping to drench Morgan.

"Don't be sorry. Thanks for the ammo, by the way," the white feline snickered. She then aimed to rush forward in an attempt to ram into Morgan's side.

"I see," Morgan uttered in surprise as his water was thrown back at him, uncomfortably drenching much of his body and ruining his fluffy fur. It was clear that not everyone from the Ascendants was as new to things as the samoyed thought; he had to step up his game. He readied himself as the feline spoke, using the brief moment to prepare a trap instead of replying to her.

Morgan froze the water that had fallen onto him, forming a set of ice spikes around his middle. As with before, the spikes were dulled so as to avoid serious injuries; instead, they were to discourage the side attack that Suiteheart was attempting. For a proper counterattack, the canine pulled the water out of one of his previously-set patches and threw it at his opponent's back as a small wave to try pushing her off balance.
