Re: THE ODYSSEY — tsunami - brad - 07-10-2018

what a wonderful way to start the day, the large canine thought to himself as he listened to pincher's echoing voice above the panicky crowd. brad had never been too fond of water, and the idea of a tsunami terrified him deeply. however, he wouldn't allow something like fear to belittle him- so the young male put on a brave face as he surveyed his surroundings. he didn't bother to check if his crewmates were in need of his assistance. brad cared about himself, and himself only. the dog had a hard time bonding with others, and was determined to survive on his own.

the wind picked up, bringing a blistery chill that cooled his thick fur. it was almost a welcoming feeling, but unfortunately it was to be accompanied by a massive wave of destruction. what a wonderful world. the heavy rain limited brad's visibility, but he did his best to push through the mud and past npc's who gazed at the storm in a state of awestricken doom. there was no time to pause like so, which drew a pitiful laugh from the canine. he would have trouble finding sympathy for those fools later when they whined about their injuries and shit. the leonberger cranked up the volume on his walkman to drown out the despaired voices of his crewmates. the cries and terror were pesky and distracted him from his goal of reaching the tempest before the wave struck. 'tainted love' wasn't the best apocalyptic beat, but it was enough to keep brad focused on the treacherous path that laid before him.
