He felt out of place, even if he was an animal himself now--which was a fact that was still sinking in. It was still weird enough that these guys were able to talk to him. It felt like his brain was about to implode. Shaking his head as if to organize his thoughts, he nods to Margaery, deciding she seemed nice enough. Though before he could speak his name, the smilodon was already talking again, and he was quickly surprised at the name he introduced himself with. Church is quickly defensive again, lips curling. "Wait, so you're a damn Freelancer?!" he demands, clearly not pleased with this new information. From his knowledge, every Freelancer was named after a state, which was pretty weird on it's own. Of course, after past experiences, he definitely didn't trust them. He's hesitant to state his name, but with all these other people asking for it, he sighs and gives in. Hopefully with them around, this guy wouldn't try any funny shit. "My name's Church. I guess I'll be staying here, but only until I find another place, you fucking hear me?" he was mostly talking to Washington. He definitely didn't trust him, and the idea of sticking around wasn't thrilling. But where else could he go? Turning to his helmet, he picks it up between his paws and slides it over his head, struggling to get it over his muzzle for a moment. He had hated it once, but now it just felt like a part of him. He felt exposed without it and his armor. Then he looks back at the others that had gathered around him. "Alright, show me around," "SPEECH" |
